1- ABS/Braking Issue The ABS system appears to be malfunctioning. On multiple occasions, typically once or twice a week, when I apply the brakes, the tires lock up and cause the vehicle to skid. This happens most often when descending hills or backing up on a sloped driveway. The wheels lock and slide until I release the brake pedal, posing a serious safety concern. 2- Severe Water Leak Interior
... Roof Area There is a significant water leak from the interior roof, specifically from the top center area near the rearview mirror, every time it rains. I’ve taken the vehicle to the dealer multiple times. They confirmed that all drain tubes are clear, all seals are functioning properly, and no water appears to be entering from the sliding moonroof. However, the issue persists. Water pours down like a waterfall through the vent (as shown in the attached photo), soaking the center console and creating an unsafe driving condition. I have also recorded videos showing the water intrusion. Living in Guam, where it rains frequently, this has become a major problem. 3- Malfunctioning Interior Ceiling Light The ceiling light on the driver's side (center dome light) turns on randomly and often remains on until manually switched off. The dealer has inspected this issue but reported no faults found. Despite this, the problem continues to occur intermittently. 4- Rear Camera Display Issue When shifting into reverse, the monitor occasionally turns completely blue, and the backup camera does not function. The blue screen remains until the vehicle is turned off and restarted. This happens sporadically and disrupts safe maneuvering.Read more

I was driving about 35-40mpg when the right rear toe link snapped due to inproper torquing. I believe the bolt had backed out then snapped. When I contacted rivian they initially blamed me for it before even in before inspecting the vehicle. Once they inspected it they stated it would be covered under warranty. There was no paint on the bolt to show proper torque had been applied. Which is a sta

They did not check it they did not paint mark any of the left side. They did paint mark the right side. The result of this link snapping out my family in great danger by sliding across the road and almost going into the mountain side. As the truck gradually slowed I turned truck off until it came to a stop. When I restarted the truck the brake hydraulic pressure returned and only the check engine light remained on. I took the truck to Reliable GMC in the Roseville Automall the next morning. The service department claimed the AGM Battery was bad and caused the front brake caliper sensor to throw a low voltage code causing a cascade event of codes throughout the system. Blown Head Gasket (Cylinder 3 Misfire) After having 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L serviced at Chrysler Dealership, technicians found small leak coming from Oil/Coolant Filter housing unit. Part was replaced and few days later vehicle had a misfire and had flashing Check Engine Light (CEL). Car was towed to dealership, technicians said code seen was P0303 (Cylinder 3 Misfire). Tech, replaced Ign
... ition coil for cylinder 3 and cleared codes. Two days later on start up, P0303 (cylinder 3 misfire) came back with CEL. Tech cleared codes and could not re-create CEL again. Two days later P0303 came back. Technicians performed more diagnostics and confirmed blown head gasket. This seems to be a very prominent issue with 2017-2018 Pacificas, more notably Cylinders 1, 3, & 5. The catalytic converter sits above the firewall cylinder bank and possibly is causing this possible engine failure due to excessive heat and poor heat dissipation capability over time. If not caught quickly, coolant can leak into cylinder affected and then overheat engine causing irreversible damage. This situation can also create a very hazardous situation if driving into speeding traffic from a turn and engine misfires, my vehicle could be rear ended if acceleration does not happen quickly enough.Read more

While driving the right center forward collision warning "approaching object" came on with 4 red bars for no reason, repeatedly. Additionally a warning saying "low speed braking control problem. Parking sensor obstructive" came on intermittently. Upon returning home I noticed that two sensors had become dislodged and fallen into the bumper. They appear to only have been held on by double sided
... tape. There are no obvious signs of impact, I have not had any collision, and the vehicle was purchased new. The failure appears to be one of the following 3 potential issues: 1) It could possibly be a very poor design choice, by Honda, to tape the parking sensors onto the vehicle. I don't understand why the mounting was not engineered to be injection molded as part of the lower garnish. That would easily reduce the vehicle parts count. 2) It may also be a poor decision in materials by the manufacturer. Honda may have specified an inferior adhesive that is incapable of sustaining the forces involved, or not capable of withstanding the exterior climate. 3) Least likely, but still possible, is the possibility that Honda's trusted retail partner, Conicelli Honda 19428, sold me a car with pre-existing damage that was not disclosed. A malfunctioning safety systems is dangerous to both the driver, other vehicles, and human life. Not only are the excessive malfunctioning notification a distraction to the driver, if a child was to run out in front of the vehicle, the vehicle would not recognize them and they could be hurt. Additionally if it triggers any other safety features such as automatic breaking, it could cause accident, especially if multiple vehicles in the road are experiencing the same issue. I look forward to a resolution.Read more

Vehicle: 2019 Kia Sorento (VIN: [XXX] at Incident: 171,800 Description of Incident: On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at approximately 12:30 PM, my 2019 Kia Sorento experienced a sudden and catastrophic engine failure while in motion. I was driving with my two children at approximately 60 mph on Highway 111, a major highway in Palm Springs, CA. Without any warning whatsoever, no dashboard lights, sou
... nds, or symptoms, the engine failed and the vehicle immediately lost all power. The gas pedal became completely unresponsive, and I was left to coast from highway speeds down to a natural stop. My safety and the safety of my children were severely at risk. Being in a vehicle that is unable to accelerate or even maintain speed on a major highway creates an immediate and extreme hazard for being rear-ended by other traffic moving at 60+ mph. We were a vulnerable, slow-moving obstacle with no ability to power ourselves out of a dangerous situation. The vehicle was towed to the Palm Springs Kia dealership in Cathedral City, California, where it was inspected by their service department. A certified Kia technician confirmed the cause of failure was a cracked engine valve, requiring a full engine replacement. I am the original owner of this vehicle and have a complete and documented history of performing all scheduled maintenance. This incident represents a severe safety defect, as a sudden loss of motive power in traffic places the vehicle occupants and surrounding drivers at high risk of a serious collision. ... en he came back and gave me a 4-5 step process on how to shut off the wiper, similar to a combo on a playstation or sega remote. The failure happened due to my lack of knowledge on how to shut off the automatic wiper sensors off. The manual doesn't clearly state how to completely disable the automatic sensors. Due to this, the wiper was damaged in a car wash, ripping off one of the wipers and no both wipers not functioning. I took the quote for repair and called the corporate office of Volkswagen and they denied pick up any of the cost and said it was damage done to the car. But I argued that it was preventable and that it didn't clearly state in the manual (Owner's Manual Tiguan Edition 08/2023 United States version) how to shut it off completely. I asked for the call to be escalated, they refused, then I came back and said I wanted to know where in the manual does it clearly state how to disable the auto sensors. The leadership member couldn't tell me at first where it was documented, after a few minutes he finally gave me the page numbers were it DID NOT state HOW to completely disable the sensor. He said decision was made. He took me from page 112 to 114 to 37 and where we landed was where they made the decision " Page 114 Fig 106 labeled "A" "Rain/light sensor deactivated and a square next to "A". I am submitting this complain regarding my 2021 Toyota Venza, which has developed a serious defect involving the fuel system. Although my vehicle is fairly new, I began experiencing problems with the fuel door not opening properly. Initially, I could not access the fuel cap, which left me unable refuel in a timely manner. Soon after, I noticed additional fueling issues: while attempting to ref
... uel, the gas pump would repeatedly shut off and stop the fueling process. After taking the vehicle for inspection, it was determined that the actuator responsible for controlling the fuel door and fueling system required complete replacement. I am concerned this defect represents more than just an inconvenience. Inability to open the fuel door or complete a fueling cycle can create dangerous situations - such as being stranded without fuel or blocking a fueling station. Additionally, if the actuator fails while in use, it could interfere with the proper venting of the fuel system. I have since learned that other Toyota Venza owners are experiencing the same problem with the actuator, suggesting this is not an isolated case but a potential widespread defect. I request that Toyota investigate this issue and that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration evaluate whether a safety recall or service campaign is warranted. 2021 Toyota Venza LE [XXX] 90,0000 Sincerely, [XXX] and [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more
