Incident date: Nov 1, 2025
I believe there is a fire risk. Attached is a picture of the fuse block and a device attached to an empty fuse location. Correct procedure is to attach here with a fuse. Instead they attached a wire to the hot side of a fuse location that has no fuse. This small red wire goes to the device. The device is fused and a small black wire comes off the device to a ground . The problem is that the
... red wire itself is not protected for about a foot until there is the inline fuse. If this wire shorts to ground it would potentially cause a fire. This is a dangling wire in the fuse box area where a person may access this area to get the tire pump or the metal attachment for securing the vehicle. The proper procedure would have been to install the red wire on a small fuse block protected by a proper sized fuse for the wire, Instead of having the unprotected wire dangling in front of the fuse box. This appears to be something the manufacturer added late, and was hacked in by someone that did not have automotive electrical degree. I would expect a mistake like this from an unlicensed kid in a stereo shop, not an automotive manufacturer.Read more

I’ve noticed that my Toyota Tundra occasionally fails to start moving from a complete stop at a light or stop sign and hesitates. I’ve pressed the gas pedal all the way down, but it doesn’t respond. It usually takes a second attempt before it will move from a stopped position. This first happened during my first week of owning the truck and has occurred a few more times since. I didn’t th

I released the brake, and when I pressed the gas pedal, nothing happened—the truck even felt like it was rolling backward. I floored the gas, and after a few seconds, it finally took off. I started looking online and found that many others have reported the same issue. There’s even a YouTube video from someone who experienced it: [XXX] I plan to take the truck to the dealership to have it checked out, but this definitely feels like a significant safety concern. I’ve made no modifications to the truck; it’s completely stock with no tuners or aftermarket adjustments. While driving my 2019 Jeep Cherokee, the engine randomly shuts off without warning. This has happened multiple times at different speeds. The specific component causing the failure is unknown, but it seems related to the electrical

I had a diagnostic scan done at AutoZone and no trouble codes were found. There were no symptoms or warning lamps prior to each incident ,the engine simply shuts off while the vehicle is in motion. I took my vehicle (2017 Honda pilot) to a Honda dealer in Selma, TX to have a pre-road trip checkup. They performed mileage related maintenance and assured me the vehicle was ready for my 2200 mile road trip. 600 miles into the trip, I stopped for gas. As I put the car in park, I received multiple errors on the driver's info panel. "1.Emissions system problem. 2.Transmission system problem. 3.Stop
... driving when safe. Transmission problem. See manual." Without any warning there was complete and sudden failure of the transmission. The car is available for inspection at a Honda dealer in Little Rock, AR where they ran diagnostics and found a list of problems. Apparently the Honda dealer in TX saw at least one of the errors and deleted it without informing me. If the transmission had failed while I was driving on the highway, average speeds of 70 mph, it could have caused a fatal accident. Right now the failed transmission has only been inspected by the Honda service dept in Little Rock, AR. There were no warnings from the vehicle to the driver prior to the complete and sudden failure whatsoever. After the failure the power train was locked in park. Drive, reverse, and neutral could not be engaged. I understand the mileage on the vehicle is high, but it is a grave safety concern when a major component of a vehicle can fail without reason or warning.Read more

Onstar, my vehicle's core safety communication system, stopped working without notice, without an alert on the dash. Nothing. I press the onstar button and nothing happens. What if I was in trouble? Didn't have my phone? The issue was not communicated to me through the infotainment system. This seems like a serious issue.

I have noticed that putting the gear selector into ‘S’ manu

Fuel line leak near engine. It sounds very similiar to the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Recall. The vehicle reaked of gasoline fumes coming in through the vents. Our mechanic replaced the fuel line, said it had a hole. We felt very unsafe even starting the car when it reaked of gas due to risk of fire. No warnings lights or anything, just the smell to tip us off. No one else has inspected the car sinc
