AT MY 55000 MILE SERVICE I WAS INFORMED THAT ALL MY WHEEL LUG NUTS NEEDED TO BE CHANGED BECAUSE OF SWELLING. PER THE MECHANIC, THIS IS A KNOW PROBLEM WITH THIS LUG NUTS ON THIS MODEL OF LINCOLN. I JUST HAD THEM REPLACED WITH THE TOTAL COST OF REPAIR INCLUDING THREE DAMAGED LUG STUDS FOR APPROX $440. THE REPLACEMENT LUG NUTS WERE THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL ONES.

"TAKATA RECALL" - LETTER RECEIVED FROM LINCOLN MOTOR CO. THAT AIRBAGS COULD EXPLODE IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH THAT CAUSES THE DEPLOY OF AIRBAGS. WE WOULD BE NOTIFIED WHEN PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. NO CALLS FROM THE COMPANY. I HAVE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES DURING THE LAST SIX MONTHS, STILL PARTS NOT AVAILABLE. LINCOLN SENT AN UPDATE IN MAY 2018 THAT WE COULD RENT A VEHICLE UP TO $45 PER DAY. I DO NOT WAN
