I hear a loud clicking sound that is coming from the vacuum pump that sends vacuum to the brake booster, I am concerned that it could eventually cause braking issues.in the future if not corrected ,i have read multiple forums and it seems to be a common problem with this particular vehicle and ones similar to it, I would like to have this issue resolved before a traggedy occurs.

2014 Lexus IS350 Destination Assist and Safety Connect stopped working. Lexus tech support has no clue on how to resolve this problem. They are telling customers to go to the dealership. I got hit on my side by a speedy car (ran red light) He was driving at speed of 55 mph. Today, May 5th approximately 9am travelling on 287 East (Westchester County, NY) I was startled by what sounded like an explosion - I literally ducked in the driver's seat. When I was able to get out and take a look the closed sunroof had shattered outward - it reminded me of a volcano pattern. Left my hazards on, got unto local roads and drove car to dealer - Ray Catena Lexus of White Plains, where we purchased the automobile. Service told me something must have hit me at the right angle. They could find no debris besides broken glass in the sunroof compartment. I was shaken and went through the process of figuring out a loaner and cost to repair. Upon my return home I spoke to my husband and we realized it just didn't make sense. We started doing research and discovered that the Toyota corporation may well be aware of these incidents, they've been happening to different models of Lexus cars/SUVs for years - different models all over the country. In California there is currently a class action suit against the corporation. I'm thankful I was driving and not my daughter and that I had the presence of mind not to lose control of the car or open the soft inside cover of the sunroof. This needs to be investigated, Toyota makes many different model cars, trucks, SUVs and this is unacceptable. My one regret is that I didn't have the presence of mind to take a photo.Read more

I was driving on the 210 freeway in Southern California and my sunroof exploded. There was no sign of an object hitting it and I didn't see anything bounce off of it onto the road or onto other cars. My insurance company inspected it and sent me to a repair shop to have it replaced.

I heard this could be the regenerative system that is expensive to repair. Recall for Rear Suspension arms. There was a recall on my car which was processed in Aug 2016 at 89k miles by previous owner. I purchased the car in Dec 2021-Jan 2022 at around 93-94k miles. This means the car was almost not used by previous owner for 5 years as the recall wasn't performed well Also, the label for "safety recall" is still on the entire rear suspension arms which proves the point.
... When i called the dealership, they mentioned they never ever leave the stickers ON after the recall is processed which is contradictory to the repairs done. This is a serious safety issue and Lexus is liable to fix this recall but they are asking me to pay for it. I do not have any extra money to keep spending just because of the recalls not processed correctly. It goes with the brand Lexus which i trusted to buy. Recall is not done correctly which is a FACT. After driving for few months and just around 3-4 k miles the new tires are completely destroyed. This is when my wife was doing on freeway this happened which is very scary and serious safety concern. While into a road trip from Florida to Tennessee on I-75 the sunroof spontaneously exploded. The interior sunshade was closed. Otherwise the glass shards would have entered the interior. I always use cruise control whenever i drive because this would always makes me put on a safety automatic brake whenever i get close to the car next to me. But it seems like my automatic emergency brake is defective which Lexus Dealership denies on the inspection when i complain. On November 19, 2021, I purchased a vehicle from cars Lane on Hanover Road in Annapolis Maryland. Upon driving back to my residence in Gaithersburg I noticed that there was significant shaking when the vehicle was driven over 60 miles an hour. It also made a loud whining noise. I contacted the dealership again and told them of this problem. I have been out to the dealership several times upon realizing they do not have a mechanic on duty and whoever passed inspection on this car should be investigated. There is no way that this car should've passed inspection. The last time I went to the dealership upon talking with the owner I was told to bring the car in and they would take a look at it. Looking at it was all they did. I noticed that [XXX] was on the phone with the warranty people trying to determine if the items that I complained about were covered under the warranty. The woman on the phone informed him that they only covered a certain point of the cost. Now I have come to find out that this car has over $17,000 worth of work to be done. I would like to make a formal complaint about this dealership, its representative [XXX] and the mechanic that allegedly passed this vehicle for inspection. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and supply you with all the necessary documentation concerning this matter. I have included a copy of the estimate from the Lexus dealership in Rockville, Maryland. It is my honest opinion that this car should've never been sold and have lied to me in the process and to throw the paperwork at me and tell me to take care of myself is unacceptable. On November 19, 2021, I purchased a vehicle from cars Lane on Hanover Road in Annapolis Maryland. Upon driving back to my residence in Gaithersburg I noticed that there was significant shaking when the vehicle was driven over 60 miles an hour. I notified the dealership and seemed helpful at first. I took the car to a good year facility and pay to have an alignment. That seem to fix one of the issu
... es however there were several more and many more I was later to find out. As well, the vehicle was also hard to steer when it came to trying to back up and turn the steering wheel. It also made a loud whining noise. I contacted the dealership again and told them of this problem. I have been out to the dealership several times upon realizing they do not have a mechanic on duty and whoever passed inspection on this car should be investigated. There is no way that this car should've passed inspection. The last time I went to the dealership upon talking with the owner I was told to bring the car in and they would take a look at it. Looking at it was all they did. I noticed that [XXX] was on the phone with the warranty people trying to determine if the items that I complained about were covered under the warranty. The woman on the phone informed him that they only covered a certain point of the cost. Now I have come to find out that this car has over $17,000 worth of work to be done. I would like to make a formal complaint about this dealership, its representative [XXX] and the mechanic that allegedly passed this vehicle for inspection. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and supply you with all the necessary documentation concerning this matter. I have included a copy of the estimate from the Lexus dealership in Rockville, Maryland. It is my honest opinion that this car should've never been sold and have lied to me in the process and to throw the paperwork at me and tell me to take care of myself is unacceptable.
