Welds on the frame where the fifth wheel overhang attaches to the main frame have broke allowing the kingpin to raise up off of the front upright. This means that the kingpin overhang is only attached at the rear upright making the RV unsafe to tow.

I had to have the engine replaced on my 2016 Honda Pilot for the same problem covered by the 2023 connecting rod bearing recall. The Honda dealer said the engine was not covered under the bearing rod recall since it was out of the date range, but advised full engine replacement with only 99K miles on it. The diagnosis service was performed on about 12-12-23 for a clanking noise in the engine.
... The dealer called it a mechanical failure and described it as a "rod bearing knock" in the repair estimate. I filed a complaint with Honda Customer Service on 12-13-23 requesting reimbursement for a new engine, which received a case number but they rejected my complaint. Specifically on 12-12-2023 I sent an e-mail stating: "Attached repair estimate from [dealer]. 10K to replace engine for rod problem diagnosed as rod bearing knock and bearing failure. This Honda is only 7 years old with 99K miles. The engine has not exploded yet, but it is basically undrivable with no solution in sight. Attached is the Honda Release covering 2016 Pilots admitting the defect but the manufacturing date range needs expansion to cover earlier Honda Pilots. My 2016 Pilot has the exact same symptoms and problem as the known defects that triggered the Honda Release. This indicates the bearing defect is present in earlier Pilots or the original spec itself is completely defective." I had the OEM engine replaced by an independent shop who installed a used Honda engine having lower mileage at a cost of about $7150 (lower than dealer cost). In addition to the out-of-pocket replacement cost, I also have concerns the replacement engine will just encounter the same defect. On a side note, I may still have the oil filter and oil removed from the OEM engine, which I had retained in case it needed analysis.Read more

There is hundreds, if not thousands of people documenting this on YouTube, Reddit, DriveAccord, and other Honda forums and sites. It happens to all 2016-2017 model year Honda accords regardless of trim. It is so bad, that I recently jumped a curb into oncoming traffic and nearly totaled my vehicle. It does not matter if the vehicles audio system is powered on or off, volume doesn’t affect it, media mode doesn’t affect it. It is a manufacturing fault and this needs to be recalled and replaced. The only current option is for the consumer to dish out $2500- $5000 from our own pocket for a junkyard stereo that will inevitably have the same issue. The police and the ambulance came and took me a hospital. I later found out the vehicle was towed to a nearby junk yard. I believe that the new high-tech system known as BRAKE HOLD malfunctioned and caused "unintended acceleration". I believe that it certainly is extremely dangerous. It has not yet been inspected by the Lexus mechanics. There were no warning signs whatsoever before the unintended acceleration. I am filing a complaint regarding a serious safety issue with my 2020 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus. While driving on the freeway, the car displayed a “Power Limited - OK to Drive” message, followed by “Power Reduced,” and then automatically limited my speed to 60 mph. This happened unexpectedly on a busy freeway, nearly causing an accident with a car behind me. The message advised tha
... t “exiting and re-entering the vehicle may restore operations.” I took the freeway exit and exited the car, re-entered, and resumed driving, but the error returned, reducing my speed further to 58 mph, and at one point, down to 7 mph. This behavior makes the car unsafe for freeway driving, as the speed can drop suddenly, putting me at risk of a collision. This issue persists on city roads as well, with speed reductions happening within a mile of driving, restricting the speed anywhere between 7-60 mph. I scheduled a service appointment with Tesla on 10/12/2024, but the earliest available date is 11/1/2024. I contacted Tesla’s customer service to prioritize my appointment or perform a remote diagnosis, but they refused to accommodate my request. During my own online research, I found that the car log indicates a “RearDrive Inverter Sensor” detecting high temperatures, likely causing the speed restrictions, along with a non-functional powertrain pump. Although my car is under an 8-year warranty for the battery and drive unit, Tesla has sent me a pre-approval bill for the upcoming service, making me concerned they may try to classify these issues as non-warranty and charge me hefty amounts for repairs. Currently, I cannot safely use my vehicle, especially on freeways, and I have no other repair options outside of Tesla. This video has been sent to Lexus corporate and Lexus Dealer. - Vehicle has been inspected by Lexus dealership as a representative of Lexus corporate. My Dealer has looked at it multiple times and can never duplicate and will not help. I worked with Lexus directly and also were not able to help. Lexus corporate has now turned my case over to their Lemon Law department for review on 7/8/24 due to this issue and many more issues with car. I provided requested information to Lexus Corporate Lemon department on 8/12/24 and have not hear back as of 10/24/24. - Unknown: Issue occurs few time a week since purchased the car on 2/4/2023, but do not recall first experience. Issue occurs more after the car has been sitting for a while on a hot day or not drove in a few days, and will stall out mostly on a left hand turn. The issue feels like the battery is dead and the gas engine has to take over for it causing a lag. When the engine does finally take over it seems to rev really high too. Advisor tried to pressure me into the coolant fans/ module issues before doing my failing fuel pump, suddenly. I felt they were now lying about fans . I told her i would be in the next day, get a loaner. Next day, i was team up on at lexus by 3 Reps minus the Advisor who was there. ... ge. The following day, the insurance adjuster informed me that Hyundai had issued a recall (RECALL 254, 24V 107000) related to my issue and advised me to take the vehicle to Hyundai for repair. I had the car towed to the Hyundai dealer in Cumming. However, after diagnosing the vehicle, Hyundai of Cumming stated that it was not subject to the recall. I believe this incident is clearly part of the recall, as shown in the attached photos from the local repair shop. Since Hyundai of Cumming claimed it wasn’t covered, my insurance company requested a detailed explanation and additional photos, but Hyundai of Cumming has been unresponsive for over a month. I reached out to Hyundai Motor USA, but they simply provided the same information as Hyundai of Cumming, without any investigation. During this process, I incurred nearly $1,000 for a rental car, which was a significant expense for me. Two months after the incident, Hyundai of Cumming offered me two options: A) Pay out of pocket for repairs, or B) Remove the vehicle from their shop. Since the car wouldn’t start, I had no choice but to pay for the repairs. I finally got my vehicle back on October 19, 2024, three months after the incident, with total costs around $6,000, including the rental. I still don’t understand why Hyundai of Cumming believes this burned starter solenoid incident is not part of the recall. So, in summary, a disconnect occurs between the infotainment system / vehicle audible warnings and the vehicle’s speakers, through which the sounds emitted. We purchased our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 as a brand-new purchase on 9/30/24 and it is completely stock, with no post-purchase or aftermarket alterations having been made to the vehicle. This issue has occurred on two separate occasions since the purchase date, with the occurrences happening on 10/8/24, and once on 10/9/24. When this sound-disconnect issue occurs, it will last indefinitely until we remedy the issue. The only remedy for this issue that has worked thus far requires that we completely shut the vehicle down, wait a few minutes, and then restart the vehicle.
