THE DEALERSHIP HAD NO SOLUTION AND DIRECTED ME TO OPEN AN ACTIVITY THROUGH CORPORATE OFFICE. THE CORPORATE INITIALLY HAD NOTHING TO OFFER, CLAIMING THE DISTORTION TO BE A "CHARACTERISTIC" NOT A DEFECT. THIS CHARACTERISTIC WAS NOT MADE EXPLICITLY KNOWN TO ME AT THE TIME OF THE PURCHASE. AFTER MUCH DELIBERATION, LEXUS OFFERED TO REPLACE MY WINDSHIELD WITH THE LOANER CAR THAT I HAD TAKEN HOME BECAUSE IT HAD LESS DISTORTION.
