Power lift gate will open and close by its self. I have had it looked at and the dealer said to report it as it’s a known issue and no recalls have been issued yet for this year. Have not had a fire yet on this vehicle. But was told it was leaking around the power liftgate control module.

The brake booster continues to fail. I replaced this part for the second time 6 months ago, the first time was roughly 9 months before that. The failure of this part causes the brake pedal to drop to the floor making stopping tricky. I have had no accidents, no police report and no warning. No dash lights illuminate indicating a problem as well as no symptoms before the failure.

My dad was driving to work in the morning in the Tesla in the left lane of the freeway. Then the car started swerving on its own. He tried to regain control with the steering wheel but he couldn’t control it. The car wouldn’t turn when using the steering wheel and he was not using autopilot or lane assistance. He said it felt like the steering wheel and the car were not talking to each other.
... And the brakes weren’t stopping the car at all and because he couldn’t control the car it turned left into the divider and hit the divider and the car turn again to the right and automatically stopped in the middle of the second lane. The airbags deployed for the driver side. Thankfully there weren’t any other cars on the road at the time so there aren’t any injuries. But this crash could’ve caused serious injuries to him or other people. There were no warning signs, alerts, or noises before this happened. He has filed a claim with the insurance company. And a crash report was filed by the police.Read more

Front left and right marker lights show up as defective on the dashboard, intermittently, but the lights are working. Have seen on different forums that this is not uncommon with this vehicle. Many complaints. Tried working with Audi/USA and have followed their advice with needing a dealership assessments. I have done this on two occasions, but they said that they will not be responsible, but th
... at the dealership will offer a labor discount of 10%. These quotes are over $7000 to replace the lights and modules (that are working), if you don’t want to keep listening to the dinging warning bells. And it forces the customer to fix it because you will never be able to sell the car even though the lights are working. Think at least Audi should pay for the parts on all complaints. There is such a term as “good will” and they should broaden the recall on this item. My vehicle had a recall on this that the dealership repaired before I even purchased the vehicle which was NEW. Audi informed them when it was on the lot, but they say it was for the same thing but they just had to do an update on it? How did they know that when the car only had maybe 10 miles on it when we took delivery. Hopefully, someone in your department has some clout and back Audi up against the wall and take responsibility. Subject: Complaint Regarding Recurring Engine Failure in 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 Dear National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, I am writing to formally express my concern regarding recurring engine failures in my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L engine). At 23,000 miles, the vehicle suffered a complete breakdown due to failure of cylinder #8, lifters, and push rods. General Motors covered the repair
... s at that time. However, at 97,000 miles, the exact same issue reoccurred, resulting in significant engine damage. The dealership diagnosed a misfire in cylinder #8, leading to the removal of the right cylinder head, where they found a bent push rod, spun lifter, damaged camshaft lobe, and lifter roller. The repair estimate totals $9,746, but GM has refused to cover the costs, despite us having an extended warranty purchased from the dealership. This recurring failure raises serious concerns about engine reliability and manufacturing defects in General Motors vehicles. I urge the NHTSA to investigate this issue, as multiple GMC and Chevrolet owners have reported similar problems with the 6.2L engine lifter and camshaft system. This is not just a costly repair but a potential safety hazard that GM has failed to properly address. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I appreciate any guidance or action the NHTSA can take to hold GM accountable and ensure consumer protection.Read more

I am writing to formally express my frustration and deep concern regarding Recall 94B, which affects my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude and currently has no available remedy. ... Given the severity of this issue—especially during Michigan’s harsh winter months—I find it unacceptable that no resolution is currently available. Fox Chrysler Jeep has verified that all warning lights on my dashboard are related to this recall, yet they have informed me there is nothing they can do at this time. As a loyal Jeep owner, I am extremely disappointed that Stellantis has not yet provided a solution to an issue that directly compromises my safety and that of others on the road. Given the circumstances, I am requesting immediate assistance from Stellantis to explore options for getting out of my current vehicle and into a new or used vehicle that is not subject to such serious, unresolved recalls. I cannot continue to drive a vehicle that poses such a significant safety risk, and I believe Stellantis has a responsibility to provide a viable alternative for affected customers.Read more

We have been experiencing multiple electrical and mechanical issues with our brand new 2025 Lincoln Aviator since we bought it approximately 4 months ago. We have taken it to the dealership two or three times, but despite their claims that the issue has been fixed, the problem recurs within a week or two from p
... icking the car up from the dealer. There was a time when the car has shut off while stopped at a traffic light, and when the light turns green, it won’t restart. In some cases, it has taken anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours before the car would finally start again. Additionally, various warning signals appear on the dash cluster, including alerts about the emergency brakes and collision warning system not functioning properly. Additionally, we experienced issues where the car doors won't open right away due to this mechanical issue. This is a serious safety hazard, as the car shutting off unexpectedly in traffic puts us at significant risk. It is especially concerning because this is our family vehicle, and we frequently travel with two infants in car seats and our elderly parents. Despite multiple visits to the dealership, the issue persists. We even reached out to the parent company, Lincoln/Ford, and they essentially told us that there is nothing they can do, this is a "known issue with the 2025 Lincoln Aviator". After researching online, we found that other 2025 Lincoln Aviator owners have reported similar electrical and mechanical problems. We are extremely concerned for our safety and fear that this issue could lead to a serious accident. However, this is our only vehicle, leaving us with no alternative but to continue driving it despite the risks. Truck in front had hit brakes so I had tapped mine. Went back to cruise control to maintain distance. I hit the brakes at 0:00:15 when I realized the car was not slowing down. My car was undriveable. The cruise control stopped due to me pressing the brakes which did not engage. Based on my research after the accident of the brakes fighting me (pulsating as I had pressed to stop the last time) I had suspected an ABS issues. I had asked both Caliber and Lexus to check. (car only had 3598 miles) The vehicle did have an airbag error upon impact and continued to display error, which was not addressed. I am still awaiting the electronic data- (EDR Event Data Recorder) from the car to see if it aligns with video and what occurred. I was informed that the impact of 26 MPG impact was not sufficient to deploy the airbag but that does not explain why the vehicle had an SRS Airbag System malfunction immediately after the accident.
