Daytime running lights has failed on the front headlights and follows pattern similar to known Special Service Message 75479. This reduces safety due to lower visibility since the DRLs should operate during normal driving conditions. I have reached out to the dealer and the Land Rover Corporate, both of which refuse to fix the issue unless I pay for parts and labor (est cost $5000+). This issue is

We were notified by Toyota that it was unsafe to transport our children in the second row seats in November 2025 and the vehicle was subject to a recall. This has been extremely inconvenient, and outs our two small children at risk because the third row seats are in the rear crumple zone. A letter from NHTSA stated Toyota would have a remedy by 12/6. The manufacturer (Toyota) confirmed this recall
... via a letter mailed out. I contacted the Toyota dealership I purchased the vehicle from, and they knew less about the second row seat recall than I did, even going as far as to tell me the second row seats were safe and fine to use - they laughed at the inquiry about a rental vehicle before offering a Corolla when one became available. I contacted Toyota corporate several times, with no update was available aside from the original press release script recommending that I not use the second row seats, and indicated that a fix was not yet available. Toyota continues to sell 2026 model year Sienna vans with fixed second row seat rails, so the updated part exists, Toyota simply has decided that they value producing new vehicles over fixing the vehicles they’ve already been paid for. Given that Toyota has not indicated a solution date for this and the problem was discovered in October 2025, as well as their decision to fix the part in question but offer no production capacity to recalled vehicles and instead continue making new Siennas, I no longer believe the manufacturer is able to remedy this safety recall for our vehicle in a timely manner and would like to officially log a complaint with NHTSA.Read more

I have had many issues with this vehicle. The engine leaks oil onto the exhaust causing the engine to smoke, the engine uses antifreeze, the transmission will downshift at highway speeds to such a low gear that I need to put the van into neutral so that the engine doesn't blow up. It uses brakes quickly, (New brakes every 10,000 miles or so). Gas milage is less then 12MPG as well.

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline has an unsafe, faulty, improperly designed auto headlight system. Oncoming headlight detection is delayed by several seconds, or non-responsove at all. My vehicle was subject to a GM recall involving inspection of the 6.2L engine. The recall inspection was completed by an authorized GM dealership at 58,581 miles. Within fewer than 10 miles after leaving the dealership following the recall inspection, at approximately 58,590 miles, the vehicle experienced a sudden loss of

Steering and braking remained functional, but the vehicle lost forward motive power in the left lane of traffic. Attempts to restart the engine resulted in a loud mechanical thud, and the engine would not restart. The vehicle was towed to the dealership. The engine is now being replaced. Prior to this incident, the vehicle had previously undergone an oil consumption test related to engine concerns before the recall campaign. This failure occurred shortly after the vehicle was inspected and cleared under the recall procedure. I am reporting this due to the sudden loss of propulsion at highway speed following recall inspection and the subsequent need for complete engine replacement.Read more

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The steering and driver assistance system appear to be malfunctioning. The vehicle intermittently pulls to the right during lane changes, creating resistance in the steering wheel. Additionally, the blind spot monitoring indicator remains illuminated when the vehicle is stopped. The vehicle is avai
... lable for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? While driving at freeway speeds, the vehicle unexpectedly pulled to the right when attempting to change lanes. This required immediate corrective steering to maintain lane position. The condition creates a loss of driver confidence and could result in unintended lane departure or collision. The unexpected steering behavior poses a serious safety risk to myself, passengers, and surrounding vehicles. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? The issue has been experienced multiple times. The vehicle recently had front control arms replaced, but the steering pull and blind spot indicator issue have persisted intermittently. The concern has not yet been fully diagnosed or confirmed as resolved. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The vehicle has not been inspected by police. It has been serviced by a dealer for suspension-related work. There is an open recall (NHTSA Recall Number 25V-514) with no remedy currently available. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? A small yellow blind spot indicator light remains illuminated in the side mirrors when the vehicle is stopped. There are no other consistent dashboard warning messages. The symptoms began intermittently prior to the steering pull event and have continued periodically.Read more

Vehicle: 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged (VIN: [XXX] ) Recall Campaign: N623 / NHTSA 21V635 Incident Description: In October 2025 I had a recall repair done at Land Rover Annapolis. I picked up my vehicle from Land Rover Annapolis after the N623 Fuel Outlet Flange Recall was performed. Immediately after service, while driving in a live lane of traffic, the vehicle unexpectedly stalled, re
... sulting in a complete loss of motive power. The dashboard fuel gauge falsely indicated 55 miles of remaining range, but the vehicle had actually run out of fuel. This indicates that the fuel sending unit/float assembly was improperly reinstalled or damaged during the recall service, creating a secondary safety defect. I figured it would calibrate and fix itself. When the dealer reached out after my service appointment I made them aware of the issue. No one contacted me. I contacted Land Rover corporate when it continued to happen and was told to bring it back to the certified repair location. The dealership took 16 mins to look at my vehicle and deem the engine bad. Give a ballpark quote of 20000 to 30000 dollars to replace the engine. Despite this life-safety event, the dealership refused to pull stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and is attempting to deflect liability by blaming a pre-existing minor coolant leak that never triggered an overheat warning. I am reporting a failure of the recall remedy and requesting an investigation into the dealership's refusal to diagnose consequential damage (High-Pressure Fuel Pump failure) caused by the botched safety When I brought up the fact that they should have diagnosed the codes already he offered to have them run it for free tomorrow like he was doing me some kind of favor. When I said did I disagreed with the findings based on the fact that there was no evidence of it being the engine overheating due to cool it he replied that maybe I needed a second opinion and it needed to be off of their lot by Friday. Subject: 2019 BMW X5 xDrive40i – Oil Pump Defect Causing Oil Measurement Failure and Safety Risk I am reporting a safety defect in my 2019 BMW X5 xDrive40i with the 3.0L B58 inline-6 engine. The vehicle currently has approximately 70,000 miles. The vehicle is unable to properly measure or display engine oil level due to incorrect oil readings, which have been attributed to a failing oil pump a
... ssembly containing internal plastic components. Because this vehicle does not have a traditional dipstick, the electronic oil level monitoring system is the only way to verify proper oil level. Due to the defective oil pump design, I am unable to confirm whether the engine has sufficient oil. This creates a serious safety concern because: •The vehicle may be operating with low oil pressure without accurate warning •Sudden oil pressure loss could cause engine shutdown while driving •Loss of power at highway speeds could result in an accident •Catastrophic engine failure could occur without proper oil monitoring This is not normal wear and tear. BMW has reportedly updated the oil pump design in newer model years to use metal internal components, suggesting awareness of a design weakness. However, no recall has been issued for 2019 models. An oil pump that prevents accurate oil level measurement and may fail prematurely presents a significant safety hazard. I respectfully request that this defect be formally investigated and that BMW be required to issue a recall to replace the defective oil pump assembly with the updated metal design.Read more
