Chantilly VA ( based on my experience). I left a car on Thursday night in heavy rain, Friday morning I call them, visited the dealership to explain the problem, show the car to a service technician. There was problem with dealership but let’s ignore that & focus on car issue. I complain to corporate range rover, I am not sure what they did but just politely communicate with me. They said that they fix the recall and do something, In car report which does not describe anything than regular inspection.. They created CASE:[8000897250 Second incident - On Jun 26, Saturday – around 2 pm issue happen again, I was driving Loudoun county parkway North, going toward Route 50 ( John mosby hwy ) from my home on Freedom street. Car stop suddenly. Same issue again.. Third Incident - On Aug 1st Sunday, 3:35 pm I was driving on route 50 E going to Fairfax VA from my home, at intersection near South riding Blvd., car stop suddenly, From drive to sudden stop with gearbox fault message. Much like the current recall N598 for the smoked rear lights. My rear lights (standard P300) red lensed lights can be turned off when a bright light is shone on the rear red lenses. Not only does it turn off the lights, it also disables the brake lights. This is a recurring problem that I have had into Land Rover service for service and in November or early December 2020. JOn the previous service, I was told the vehicle needed a software update. ... cally. This has now happened so often that I have observed a pattern. When starting to drive the car from start up or at a stop the car will slip out of gear and I will get a beeping noise and a message that states:"Engage gear before maneuvering." Sometimes the car will stay illuminated in drive mode but really be in neutral as it will rev but not move. In those cases I will shift into park and then back into drive and the car will move again. Recently the car will act the same way only stall out requiring me to restart the car and shift it into drive mode. This seems to happen most often when it is very hot outside and the car's auto start/stop function is on. During the winter months my secondary battery would be low on power and the auto start/stop function would not engage. During those times I do not recall experiencing this issue. In fact my main battery has been very low and required a trickle charge at home. This was illustrated by my hatch not opening or the car giving me a message prior to start up that the battery was low. Of course that was never a safety issue, the problem above is. Last night my wife and I were leaving were stopped at light on a 6 lane state highway. As I came to a stop in the center lane the car suddenly started beeping the engage gear message flashed and the car stalled. I tried as quickly as possible to re-start the car and put it into gear. Several maneuvered around us. One car almost hit us from behind and at a high rate of speed by swerved around us. This is clearly a highly unsafe and potentially deadly defect.Read more

Fuel gauge indicated no fuel even though tank was just filled. Vehicle went into limp mode then would only start for a minute. Exact same symptoms as current recall for same model year but ours is outside of VIN range for that recall. Vehicle only has 35k miles and had fuel pump replaced which has seemed to fix the problem although fuel gauge won’t read full ever.

The car was inoperable and had to be towed to the Buckhead dealership by LR Roadside. Furthermore, I am in the final stages of the application process of the Georgia Lemon Law to have this car replaced by Land Rover. No one should have to go through the problems I have had with this vehicle and with Land Rover. It is available for inspection upon request. It is currently at the Buckhead Land Rover dealership in Atlanta, GA. My safety was at risk because due to the wheel malfunction the wheel/tire could have locked up and caused my vehicle to flip and harm all others on the Interstate. Yes the dealer has confirmed this problem. They don't seem to know how to fix it. To my knowledge the vehicle has NOT been inspected by the manufacturer, the police or insurance representatives. Sadly, this is how scary this incident was--as there were NO warning lamps, messages or symptoms of the problem prior to failure. Last Thursday, 5/27/2021, I was driving on the interstate and all of sudden my vehicle became inoperable due to the same issue I have been having all along--mechanical failure of the suspension of the car/wheel. ... led due to faulty and mechanical failure of this vehicle. The car is broken and obviously Land Rover is clueless as to how to fix it for good. It's a lemon! The car was inoperable and had to be towed to the Buckhead dealership by LR Roadside. Furthermore, I am in the final stages of the application process of the Georgia Lemon Law to have this car replaced by Land Rover. No one should have to go through the problems I have had with this vehicle and with Land Rover. It is available for inspection upon request. It is currently at the Buckhead Land Rover dealership in Atlanta, GA. My safety was at risk because due to the wheel malfunction the wheel/tire could have locked up and caused my vehicle to flip and harm all others on the Interstate. Yes the dealer has confirmed this problem. They don't seem to know how to fix it. To my knowledge the vehicle has NOT been inspected by the manufacturer, the police or insurance representatives. Sadly, this is how scary this incident was--as there were NO warning lamps, messages or symptoms of the problem prior to failure. While driving on the interstate I released the cruise and slowed down when coming up on an 18 wheeler. When it was clear I began to change lanes to the left and tried to accelerate but the engine would not respond. About 5 or 6 seconds later it finally responded. I had it in the shop this past January 2021 and a tech from Range Rover worked on it for about 1 1/2 weeks upgrading the software and said it was fixed. It happened 2 times since then so back to the shop I went. They returned the car on the 4th day stating they could not make the car shut down and there were no codes. I don’t know about you but it’s very stressful when you are driving in heavy traffic on Interstate 4 near Orlando and your car shuts done for a few seconds. I read on the internet where other people are having similar issues. I think something needs to be done before there is a tragic accident because Range Rover acts like they don’t know what everyone is talking about.Read more

The vehicle breaking system is damaging the ware items (Rotors and Pads) causing the vehicle to shake and shutter and become unsafe when driving on curvy roads and down hill. This vehicle has been in to the dealership 3 times under warranty and the dealership and Land Rover will not diagnose and repair the system problem. The vehicle was in the shop for 56 days and returned un repaired as the vehi
