On July 1, 2023, I had the vehicle parked on an incline with a trailer attached to the vehicle. The vehicle was in Park and the Parking Brake was set. As I attempted to unload the trailer, the vehicle started to move and rolled down the incline. I was on the trailer and was moving with the vehicle, I could have been injured but fortunately the vehicle rolled into a pile of topsoil before it could

This occurred in my driveway but could have happened on a busy street. I still own the vehicle and it is available for inspection. There were no indications, warning lamps, etc. that would have notified me of the impending failure. I contacted Ford and they have been of little help. It took them 2-1/2 months to get me scheduled to have one of their field service engineers to inspect the vehicle. I was not allowed to talk to the field service engineer and that person did not attempt to duplicate the conditions which caused the failure. The report from Ford to me said they inspected the vehicle on a lift. They said they could not find a problem and said they will take no further action. They have been extremely uncooperative and do not seem the least concerned about the safety of the vehicle. I am concerned that the problem will recur and cause significant damage or injury so I take precautions whenever I park it.Read more

Had bot exhaust manifolds replaced with under 44k miles first manifold cracked under 20k miles. Ram will only honor these repairs until 60k 5 years. Everyone I know has had theirs crack this is obviously a design or casting problem . It will likely happen again . It is not under warranty because its the moon roof and it is from "ware and tare" but no where does it say glass is not covered, and then they said that it would be covered only if proven from a manufacture/car fault or malfunction. My moon roof has no point of impact, hence the thought it was caused by pressure. Then I looked it up, this has happened to 100s of people on their rav4 2021, some of which got it covered by Toyota. I have been talking to a case manager (after weeks of trying to reach one) and he basically said that even if I send them these reports of it previously happening he won't bother looking at them; and that the specialist team are bias to Toyota so they will also say its outside causes. I have been pushed around, looked down on, and not advocated for. They also won't do ANY repair on my car until Toyota says okay, or I file an insurance claim, so they have had my car for 2 weeks doing nothing on it. Not only that they upsold me on the moon roof, encouraged me to do it, my $500 upgrade is now costing me $5000 dollars to fix. This is a dangerous reoccurring problem, what if my shade wasn't closed and the glass hit myself or passengers, of if cars behind me ran over glass chunks and caused flat tires or window chips etc. In addition the way the situation has been handled makes me and my Toyota loyal family not want to buy a Toyota again!!Read more

The manifold that the turbo charger is attached to at the back of this transverse engine, has a weld across the entire top. A weld in a manifold of any kind is inappropriate and dangerous. The vehicle has a terrible delay when accelerating from a rolling stop between 8-11 mph. If you try to accelerate and the vehicle is at this speed, the delay is about 2-3 seconds before the transmission gets it into gear.

Today, we did have a second key fob made at Honda for our vehicle so that we have a spare in the event this happens again closer to home. We are hoping to be reimbursed for this cost and the "diagnosis" fee we are being told by Honda Customer Support we need to pay for in order to diagnose what the issue might be. My car sat in the middle of the highway with no warning lights on until a tow truck arrived. We then found out there is a way to release the gear and put it into neutral so we could push it to the side of the road. The car was towed to the house where I then had to have another tow truck come get it and tow it to the dealership where i was already waiting for a part. (Differential) At this point it has now been 8 days and i have no updates on what actually happened to my car but in my discovery I have read that this is a more common occurrence than not. Just while waiting in the Enterprise waiting room, waiting for my rental I met a girl with the same exact issue. How many others is this happening to and when will Ford recall this model car before someone is killed? I want answers and want to make sure when they say my car is fixed that it truly is fixed. Upon inspection by a certified mechanic, the issue was determined to be, "death wobble" and multiple components were replaced with OEM parts. Parts, services, inspection all paid for by me, yet the vehicle continues to shake violelently at random. New tires an quarterly alignments have not resolved this issue and 3 different Ford mechanics have advised removing the vehicle from service to avoid further accident or injury. Shortly after my brake pedal became stiff and was difficult to stop. I was able to get it stopped safely. The next day the engine died and would not start. After taking it to a mechanic, I was told the the engine would need to be replaced due to the timing belt snapping. The car had less than 70,000 miles on it and if there were any issues with the timing belt they should have been caught during the time the recall issues were addressed.Read more
