Evidently there is a problem with the CDF clutch cylinder. There is a bushing that will slip and can cause delayed or rough transitioning into gears. This is on the 10R80 transmission according Ford. We had no idea of this issue till we brought our truck in to Ford to have the system flushed. Which then the service tech asked had we had any issues and we said it has a delay when shifting into gear
... s sometimes as well as when we put it in reverse it seems like it doesn't fully engage and and then when it does engage it is like a jolt and the truck goes at a faster pace since we was pressing the gas thinking we did not give it enough gas to go into reverse. Multiple times my wife has said that it does this when she is backing out of our driveway into the road also while she is backing out of her parking space at school. What is bad is there are no warning lights on the truck for this issue. There are multiple recalls on this transmission that involve updating the computer settings for the trasmission but the real issue is they have not done a recall for this issue which would stop the bushing from sliding causing the delayed/harsh shifts. Since this is an engineering design issue and potential Hazzard while drive this should be a manufacture recall. Ford has already resigned the cylinder in 2022 to address this issue but anything manufactured before that is suppect.Read more

The engine seized without warning or noise and this presents a severe danger to the driver of the vehicle and other vehicles on the highway. Unsatisfactory Review for 2025 Range Rover SE I purchased a 2025 Range Rover SE in November 2024 for nearly $200,000, expecting a luxury vehicle with reliability to match its price tag. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. In December 2024, just one month after purchase, the vehicle completely died while I was driving on the highway—a terrifying and unacceptable
... failure for a brand-new car. The vehicle was towed to the dealership, where it has remained ever since. What has made this experience even worse is Range Rover’s appalling customer service. The company’s “repurchasing” agreement process, which I initiated nearly two months ago, is lengthy, convoluted, and appears designed to disadvantage the customer at every step. Despite repeated attempts to get answers, there has been no clear timeline for resolution, no updates from anyone with decision-making authority, and absolutely no way to escalate the matter to management. For a vehicle in this price range, I expected premium customer care, but what I’ve received is the opposite: silence, frustration, and the sense that Range Rover cares more about protecting itself than making things right for its customers. Until Range Rover makes significant improvements to the reliability of its vehicles and its customer service, I cannot recommend this brand to anyone. Buyers beware—you may end up with a luxury-priced lemon and no way to resolve it.Read more

The police were called and the car towed. Specifically, I have encountered recurring problems with the vehicle's automatic braking system, as well as issues with the Honda Prologue app, both of which I believe compromise the vehicle's safety and performance.
The vehicle's automatic braking system appears to be malfunctioning, as it has activated unexpectedly on multiple occasions, leading to near-miss accidents. On at least three occas
... ions, the vehicle’s brakes have engaged without cause, even in situations where there is no obstruction or “phantom” vehicle detected. This automatic braking has not only been inappropriate but also posed a significant safety risk to both myself and other road users. The reverse braking system exhibits similar issues, activating without cause. Despite the alerts being on and the brakes not being engaged, the system’s warning signals still activate, leading to further confusion and potential danger. I have consulted with both the dealership and the Prologue forum, and it has been confirmed that this is an ongoing issue. However, the dealership has indicated that they have no immediate workaround or solution. The only suggested viableremedy has been to disable these safety features entirely, which negates the very purpose of having them.
The Honda Prologue app, which is intended to provide critical vehicle information and allow remote monitoring and control, is also malfunctioning. I have been in communication with Honda for over two months regarding these issues, but unfortunately, no solution has been provided. The app is essential for monitoring vehicle functions such as theft prevention, charging status, and temperature control, all of which are key safety and convenience features. I am concerned about my ability to monitor the vehicle’s charging, especially given the increasing number of incidents involving electric vehicles catching fire during or after charging. Proper monitoring of charging status is crucial to avoid potential over overcharging and battery degradation.Read more

Due to my non-resolved safety concern, I am raising the issue in this forum so hopefully something can be done and others that potentially have the same issue can reach a resolution as well. My hypothesis of the cause of the issue is when the Y81 recall happened, it tuned down the emissions output that was originally higher necessary for the vehicle to run, because I didn't have check engine lights before. By this tune-down of emissions, the engine is not able to produce the correct output to run the vehicle and thus the random lack of power causing a safety issue, and is currently adversely affecting components that are causing the P0133 O2 sensor to alert.Read more
