I am writing to report an incident that occurred on [XXX] [XXX] while my Cybertruck was operating in Full Self-Driving (FSD) mode. While driving on [XXX] Brooklyn NY with no other moving traffic present, my Cybertruck did not detect a vehicle that was parked improperly—sticking out too far into the lane. The FSD system failed to adjust its path accordingly and struck the side view mirror of m
... y vehicle, causing significant damage to the mirror glass and housing. I understand that FSD is a driver-assist feature that requires supervision, and I was attentive during the drive. However, the clearance of side view mirrors from the driver’s perspective is extremely difficult to judge at street level, and I believe stationary obstacles of this nature should be reliably detected and avoided by the FSD system. This type of incident raises concerns about the performance of FSD in handling stationary objects, especially when the vehicle was otherwise properly supervised and operating in a straightforward environment. VIN# [XXX] I reported complaints during all of my routine oil changes that I had a coolant leak and it smelled like something was burning under my hood. I also told them that I had coolant on my garage floor and that my gears were stalling on my vehicle. I reported these issues when my car had under 10,000 miles and again at the 20,000 mile range. They stated they saw no issues or related recalls
... . I believe I was intentionally lied to because my car was under warranty at the time and they didn’t want to address the issues. I asked for them to check again prior to the expiration of the factory warranty they said they found nothing. I now have 69k miles and the issues that I’m experiencing surely didn’t happen over night/ Recently when my oil change light came on another light came on as well. I asked the dealership to look into it but they refused unless I paid $265. I went to another repair shop and the identified several issues (codes) PCM issues that would explain the issues that I reported over the years and none of the recalls were looked into. I purchased my car new during Covid and did not have a lot of face to face contact so I thought I purchased the extended warranty and now realize that I did not. I have reported these issues well before the end of the warranty period and believe that my car should be inspected immediately because I now fear for my safety and the safety of my family. I now have the following codes showing on my vehicle: Engine P00B0-49 June 7, 2025 11:16 AM P3498-86 P2170-11 P21A0-84 P21A1-84 P219F-84 U0080-87 P26CB-72 Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control B Module Performance Internal Electronic Failure Cylinder 1 Deactivation Performance Signal Invalid Exhaust Pressure Regulator Vent Solenoid Control - Circuit Low Circuit Short To Ground Cylinder 5 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance Signal Below Allowable Range Cylinder 6 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance Signal Below Allowable Range Cylinder 4 Air-Fuel Ratio Imbalance Signal Below Allowab INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATIORead more

On April 15, 2025, I purchased a pre-owned 2016 Nissan Altima with just under 51,000 miles. Less than two months later, the vehicle’s transmission failed. A diagnostic revealed the issue is with the CVT transmission, a well-documented defect in many Nissan models. When I contacted Nissan to file a claim under what I thought would be warranty protection, I was denied because the extended warrant
... y period had technically expired. However, I was not the vehicle owner during that warranty period, and the defect had not presented itself until now. I am now left to pay thousands of dollars to replace a part that Nissan has previously acknowledged as faulty. This is not simply a warranty issue—it’s a case of a known manufacturer defect causing harm to a consumer who acted in good faith. As a working-class family of six, we cannot absorb this kind of financial blow—especially when it is due to a failure Nissan has seen repeatedly in their CVT-equipped vehicles. I am requesting that the Attorney General’s office investigate this matter and advocate for Nissan to take responsibility by covering 100% of the repair costs. I honestly do not understand why this faulty transmission issue has not warranted a recall. The sudden and unexpected inability to continue acceleration is an extremely dangerous occurrence that can lead to a collision resulting in fatality or paralyzation.Read more

The steering system randomly but frequently has an issue where it “sticks” when going straight down the road, requiring excessive pressure to make minor adjustments to remain in the lane. This causes the car to jerk and the steering to “oversteer” while to trying to maintain the lane. It is available for inspection upon request. My safety and others are put at risk because the issue make
... s it difficult to remain in the lane while going down the road. When the wheel “sticks” it causes the car to jump/jerk abruptly and sometimes causes the car to leave the lane because of the excessive effort required to “get through” the sticking. This is EXTREMELY dangerous at highway speeds. I had another recall done on the car (fuel pump) and mentioned it to the service manager who noted on the invoice that they could feel the “sticking” feeling and recommended steering rack replacement to correct the issue. The car has not been inspected by Honda, the police or anybody else. There are no warning lamps or active fault codes. The issue was present when I purchased the car at around 80,000 miles and is still present at 123,000 miles. I also had a 2016 Honda Civic that had the same exact issue, starting at around 25,000 miles and lasting until I traded it in at around 80,000 miles. The dealer was never able to replicate the issue when I took the car in to have the issue corrected under warranty so they could never repair the issue. I’ve done intensive research on others having the same issue and there are a LOT of others having this same exact issue on the 10th generation (2015-2023) Honda Civic.Read more

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a prolonged and troubling service experience at Jaguar Land Rover Buckhead, related to my 2018 Range Rover Sport (approximately 49,000 miles), and to express dissatisfaction with the handling of a prior related incident. My vehicle has been the dealership approx. 2 weeks with no loaner and me missing days from work and not able to transport my ch
... ildren to school. For past context, In 2023, I experienced a faulty ground stud issue that left me stranded on the highway during my morning commute. I later learned this exact issue had been subject to a recall on the Discovery model — but not on mine — despite identical symptoms. As a result, I was issued a $675 Owner Loyalty Certificate (OLC) by Molly B. of Land Rover USA, which I appreciated, but which I believe did not fully compensate for the risk and inconvenience caused. Recently, I returned to the another dealer, Jaguar Land Rover Buckhead, in May 2025 for a new issue. I was told there was a broken exhaust bolt that delayed repairs. I specifically asked the service advisor if I was responsible for the bolt breaking during service and was told I was not, though it was framed as a “common issue” across many vehicles. I respectfully disagreed, noting I’ve owned multiple vehicles with higher mileage and never encountered such a failure. I also suggested that if this is so common, it may reflect a design flaw that Land Rover should address. Additionally, I was misled by the service advisor, Cole Eidson, who sent me a message on Tuesday, May 28th, stating the bolt was already removed and the exhaust installation was underway. I later discovered this was not true, and that the bolt had not yet been extracted at the time of that message. This misrepresentation caused unnecessary confusion, delay, and loss of trust. This pattern — first with the unresolved ground stud failure, then with misinformation about repairs and unexplained delays — leaves me deeply disappointed withRead more

This car has a system called Forward Attention Warning (FAW) which monitors the driver's eyes using an in-cabin infra-red camera trained on the driver. When smart cruise control and lane following assist are both activated, FAW is forced ON by the car. If FAW thinks that the driver's eyes aren't on the road, it beeps, puts alerts on the panel visible to the driver and turns off all driving assis
... t features. The problem I'm reporting is that the FAW system is completely broken. Even though I'm looking straight forward, it says I'm not paying attention to the road, sounds loud alerts, then eventually shuts off all of my driving assistance features. I wear glasses, and sometimes sunglasses to reduce glare when driving in bright conditions, and I've tried this with my prescription sunglasses, my normal prescription glasses and even without any glasses. The system erroneously triggers in all cases. I believe that the FAW system false positives is a safety issue because: 1. The constant false alerts are very distracting, making the driver look at the panel in front of them to try to figure out what it's saying, taking their eyes off the road 2. Lane following assist is, itself, a safety feature, by disabling it due to these false positives from the FAW system, this is reducing safety in the vehicle 3. The FAW false positives will abruptly disable the smart cruise control, which is controlling the speed of the car, as well as the lane following assist, helping to keep the car in the lane. This abrupt disabling of these systems can cause the car to slow suddenly and depart from the lane if going around a curve. This can be very dangerous.Read more

Often you are forced to use excessive force on the pedal and it still does not come to a complete stop. With the amount of forced iv had to use in the past the brakes should lock up and and create a slide but iv never experienced it. If im am not careful and maintain all attention to what its front of me i fear i will create a accident some day. To often in stop and go traffic or abrupt braking situations i have not been able to assure the vehical will stop . This causes concerns due to always having to travel at slower speeds and politically car repair bills. The life expectancy on the brakes are wearing out quickly. I am not a aggressive driver so i should have no problems with premature brake wear. Iv had the brakes inspected by the same dealership multiple times but they always say there's nothing wrong. The brakes have felt the same since purchasing date. Now we are two years into own the vehicle. The dealership is no help and the manufacture is not as well.Read more

The vehicle main information cluster randomly goes in and out and now has completely stopped working. This is the information display that shows Park, Nuetral, Drive, Reverse, Fuel gauge, digital MPH and other information such as oil tire pressure, turn signals, forward collision. Just knowing if the vehicle is in Park Reverse or Drive is a huge saftey issue. This seems to be a common problem on
... GM vehicles and i wcan't seem to find a recall issued for the saftey factor that the vehicle can be assumed to be in Park and it's actually in Reverse. The first time I noticed this problem was Sept. 05, 2020 but it had reset when I restarted the vehicle. The problem would resurface occasionally but always came back on when restarting the vehicle. But know it seems that restarting the vehicle is not fixing the problem and the screen has been blank for the last 3 days.Read more

I reported the first incident that happened in Feb 2025 when my brakes failed and nearly crashed due to my Vacuum Brake Booster failing, and I replaced it. Less than 2 months later, 4/28/2025, my breaks failed again, the same thing happened. My break pedal was hard and I was unable to stop my car. This time I had leave the roadway to avoid a collision and nearly lost control of my car. After hav
... ing the mechanic check it out he told me it is a faulty system that GM/Chevrolet needs to replace or redesign. I have not fixed it because I am not only afraid to drive it anymore for fear of crashing but I don't have the money to just keep replacing a part that is never going to be ok. I am without a car, my job is at risk bc I can't always find a way to work, it has cost me money that if it wasnt faulty I would not have had to shell out the money to repair 2x in 2 months. I need GM to take responsibility before someone is hurt or killed. I need a dependable vehicle like I thought I was getting when I paid cash outright for the vehicle in 2022. The mechanic has also said he thinks it could have damaged my motor. This is a life & death situation that I can't even sale the car without worrying someone else may lose their life. Essentially I was sold a vehicle that is no good, dangerous, and it's due to GMs negligence bc they are aware that the brake booster is faulty and can't be fixed by replacing the faulty part. It is likely to keep causing a brake failure.Read more

So I complained before and nothing has happened. I took my Ridgeline in for the recall on the backup camera and my camera still flickers or goes out. Happens randomly not all the time. I brought it up twice to the Honda dealership and they couldn’t help me since it was working fine when I brought it in. And my transmission since 20k miles still lags and jutters and makes clanking sounds. I have
... done multiple transmissions fluid changes like recommended but I don’t trust it. And only the first time they covered it and did a software update but that didn’t fix it then my warranty expired and they wanted to charge me for any repairs after. I have had this issue since I bought the Ridgeline. Not even 100k miles and I can’t trust it to drive more than an hour. This been happening for years and I complained before but nothing ever got done. My backup camera still goes in and out as of today and I have received multiple transmission is over heating warnings that then turn off. And now it’s starting to to not shift sometimes and high revs it.Read more
