We have a fleet of 2023-2025 Nissan Frontiers. Starting in December of 2024 we began having problems with the vehicles electrical system going wild and shutting the trucks down. It causes all of the lights to come on and the truck to stall and not restart, We did not realize that we had a problem until it happened to multiple vehicles over the last several months. A few of them were brought to
... the dealership where we were told they could not find any problems and just replaced the batteries. So, when some of the others did it, we just replaced the batteries ourselves. This week asked again if there was a known issue and were told Nissan only knows of a battery drain issue. These vehicles are shutting down sometimes while our people are driving them. They also try to restart themselves sometimes. They are automatically applying the breaks when this happens wile the ABS light comes on. This is an extremely dangerous situation for our fleet drivers as well as the motoring public. It has happened to 10 of the 15 Frontiers that we own.Read more

There is hundreds if not thousands of these trucks affected. Stellantis/ram says the sensor is has been updated, but is currently not built or for sale., there is a national backorder. We are being told to drive these trucks while ram comes up with a fix. These speed sensors affect systems that have been federally mandated since September of 2012 (anti lock brakes). After a heavy rainstorm in [XXX] , my 2005 Land Rover LR3 experienced catastrophic water intrusion through the A-pillar design flaw documented in Land Rover’s own TSB LA501-007. When I opened the passenger door, ~1.5 inches of water poured out. Immediately afterward, the vehicle developed multiple failures: flickering lights, radio inoperative, driver’s window stuck, ABS warning lights illumin
... ated, “Transmission Fault” error displayed, and the air suspension automatically lowered into its fail-safe mode. This is not wear and tear. Land Rover has acknowledged the defect internally (A-pillar locator holes allowing water ingress into the footwell), but never issued a recall or owner notification. Flooding the footwell shorts the electrical/fuse boxes, causing cascading failures in braking, suspension, powertrain, and electrical systems. This presents a serious safety hazard as the vehicle may lose proper braking, suspension height, or drivetrain function simply from exposure to rain. I am submitting this complaint due to Nissan's lack of action on a critical safety recall that has remained open without a remedy for over a year (NHTSA Recall Number 24V-700 / Nissan Recall Number R24B2). The recall involves a manufacturing defect in the high-voltage battery that can cause overheating and fire during DC fast charging. This is a severe safety risk, not only to owners but also to
... nearby vehicles and property at charging stations. Nissan’s only response has been to tell owners not to use DC fast charging, which was inadequate as a temporary measure and unacceptable as a long-term solution. Without access to DC fast charging, vehicle usability is severely compromised. Daily commuting is difficult, and long-distance travel is nearly impossible. Level 1 and 2 charging do not provide practical alternatives, and many owners rely on DC fast charging as their only feasible option. This feature is a basic expectation of modern EV ownership, and had I known I would lose it indefinitely, I would never have purchased this vehicle. After a full year, Nissan has provided no remedy, no timeline, and no meaningful communication. Even if a fix were announced today, implementation would take additional weeks or months. This is not a timely response to a major safety and usability issue. As an affected owner, I expect one of the following: (1) Nissan issues and implements a permanent fix within 30 days, (2) provides a free loaner vehicle until a remedy is available, or (3) repurchases the defective vehicles from me and other affected owners. Continuing with no action is unacceptable. As a repeat Nissan customer, this experience has been deeply disappointing and has caused me to lose confidence in the brand.Read more

I am writing because I am beyond frustrated with the treatment I’ve received from Gwinnett Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (5054 U.S. 78, Stone Mountain, GA 30087 ). I have been a long‑time Jeep customer, and I cannot believe everything that has been going on. This situation has become untenable, and I demand a resolution immediately. Back in May, I brought my Jeep in to have a hybrid electrical vehi
... cle system issue addressed, and I paid for that service in full. In July, the same warning light came back on. When I returned the vehicle to the dealership, they first tried to shift blame—saying perhaps the previous service provider messed something up. Then they told me my engine needed to be replaced. When I reminded them that they were the last ones to work on the car, the tone changed. My vehicle is only a little over two years old—how is an engine replacement justified? They quoted me $14,000 to make this repair. I contacted Jeep Customer Care. Their inspection quoted $18,000, but with warranty coverage I was told I would owe $5,500. Even then, they tried to force me to take out a loan. Reluctantly, I paid the $5,500, as I rely on my vehicle for work and to transport my daughter to and from school. I was required to pay $4,000 upfront before any work would begin, and the engine was ordered. Over a month passed, with several promised completion dates (August 27, 28, 29) that came and went without completion. I flew in on August 29 expecting to pick up my vehicle, only to be told it was not ready because the new engine had been mistakenly sent back instead of the old one. This error is incomprehensible and has severely damaged my trust in the dealership. As of September, I was informed that my Jeep would be completed by September 9. That deadline has passed, and my vehicle remains unfinished. I have incurred additional expenses for flights and Uber/Lyft rides due to the dealership's missed deadlines and miscommunication. Based on driver/operator report, Vehicle suddenly stalls on the road/freeway. Dash panel indicates a warning message: "Engine Malfunction Power reduced Service now".
Incident date: Jul 31, 2025
Vehicle experienced a sudden no-start condition in July 2025 after being parked for ~2 weeks. Engine cranked briefly, then shut off and displayed a red immobilizer warning. OBD-II scans showed BCM memory faults (B22A9), immobilizer lockout (P0513), CAN-C bus communication errors, and repeated low-voltage codes. Dealer replaced PCM (~$1,550) but vehicle still inoperative. Dealer then determined BC
... M (Body Control Module, part #68141881AJ) failed, but part has been discontinued by Mopar and is unavailable nationwide. Used BCMs are VIN-locked, leaving no authorized repair path. Vehicle is also subject to NHTSA Recall 23V338000 (power liftgate module electrical short / parasitic drain). My vehicle showed repeated low-voltage events consistent with this defect, which likely corrupted the BCM and immobilizer system. Dealer confirmed recall parts are still backordered. As a result, a 2014 Jeep Cherokee with only ~32,000 miles has been rendered permanently inoperable due to discontinued safety-critical electronics. The defect creates a substantial safety risk because electrical shorts can occur while parked or driving, and owners are left without remedy.Read more

My 2019 Traverse has approximately 27k miles. I have taken the car in to a Chevy dealership for repair. The car is shuddering at around 20 mph. The dealer told me this is a common issue and after review of hundreds of complaints it appears it is. It is out of warranty by a year. Apparently the issue is likely the torque converter. However GM, requires I do a transmission flush and reprogram fo
... llowed by driving 500 miles. If it does not work then I have to replace the torque converter. The transmission flush is $980 dollars and a torque converter is quoted at $3,400. If this is a known issue and no fault of the driver it should be covered by GM. Why would I pay 1,000 dollars to then pay another 3,400 for a total of $4,400 dollars for a repair for a car with 27k miles. I feel like this should be a recall based on the number of complaints and cost to buyer. This seems ridiculous. I have agreed that the initial 980 dollars as I have no choice. On or about August 7 or 8, my wife was driving our vehicle when it suddenly stalled and stopped running. Prior to this incident, we received a warning that the battery was low and that the vehicle needed to be started immediately. On August 9, I replaced the battery. That same day, we contacted the dealership where we purchased the vehicle and reported the issue. We were advised not to drive the
... car and instead have it towed to the dealership for inspection. In researching the problem, I found information about recall N599, which involves vehicles of this model year suddenly stalling. However, when I entered my VIN, no active recalls were shown for my vehicle. Given the similarity of the issue we experienced to the recall description, I believe my vehicle should be included. The vehicle is currently in the dealership’s shop undergoing a computer system reset, but I strongly feel any necessary repairs related to this stalling issue should be covered under the recall. My primary concern is the safety of this vehicle for my family and all passengers, and I request that this matter be reviewed and addressed under recall coverage.Read more

... zda vehicles across different models and years. Each time, I have been forced to pull over, turn off the car, and restart it to temporarily resolve the issue. This is extremely dangerous, especially at highway speeds, as it creates a high risk of rear-end collisions and sudden loss of vehicle control. When reported to Mazda, the concern was dismissed as a “sensor issue,” but the repeated nature and widespread reports suggest a potential systemic defect that requires urgent investigation and recall.Read more
