I HAVE BEEN RIDING FOR 35 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS. I CONTACTED GALFER AND RACE TECHNOLOGIES, THE MAKERS OF THE BRAKES FOR THIS MOTORCYCLE. THEY BOTH SAID THAT THIS IS NOT A NORMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF FLOATING ROTORS AND THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE BRAKES. I HAD AN EXPERT MECHANIC WITH 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH KTM MOTORCYCLES TEST DRIVE AND HE EXPERIENCED THE SAME INTENSE VIBRATION ISSUES. HE SUGGESTED THAT THE CRANK SHAFT COULD BE DEFECTIVE. I TOLD THIS TO KTM AND TO THE DEALER BUT THEY WOULD NOT ADDRESS THIS ISSUE. I DID NOT NOTICE THE VIBRATION PROBLEMS WHEN I PURCHASED THIS MOTORCYCLE NEW BECAUSE I TOOK IT FOR ONLY A SHORT TEST DRIVE. THE COOLANT IN THE RESERVOIR TANK BECOMES EMPTY WHEN DRIVING THE MOTORCYCLE FOR AROUND 100-130 MILES IN NORMAL CONDITIONS. THERE SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH THE VALVE SEPARATING THE ENGINE OIL AND THE COOLANT.
