On July 5, 2025, I entered my vehicle parked in my home garage and the door latched shut. Upon putting my foot on the brake. Center screen was blank (did not power on). This time the window did not move and I have to force the door open by pressing my shoulder hard against the interior door panel. I hear a popping sound from inside the door and the window would not roll up. I did not drive the vehicle fearing that the car would not start and my family could be trapped inside the car. I created an appointment for Tesla service for July 7, 2025 for the door locks and the driver's window that would not roll up completely and also would roll down but return to a 70% rolled up position automatically. I did received an error warning on the late evening of July 6, 2025 that the 12 volt battery voltage was low on the main center screen of my vehicle. I took the vehicle to Tesla service on July 7, 2025 and it was determined that the 12 volt auxiliary battery that was faulty and my window was repaired and recalibrated. I never saw an alert for the 12 volt auxiliary battery low voltage prior to when I was locked inside the car.Read more

The errors are random and range from glitching video, delay in activating, not switching off(driving forward with rearview camera activated), and a error code pop-up to contact the dealer. 100 percent of the time, the image is displayed in reverse making backing up impossible.

... over the usual amount of oil needed. The excessive oil consumption and potential carbon deposits can lead to severe engine issues, including stalling or even complete engine failure. This has caused other issues. This oil consumption defect has been there since I purchased this vehicle causing oil changes sooner than needed. A manufacturing defects in the 2018-2020 Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission, commonly found in newer F-150 trucks, causing issues like harsh/erratic shifting, jerking, and power loss. The erratic shifting and power loss can pose a safety risk, especially when accelerating, merging, or in traffic. Ford concealed this defect not letting owners know and didn’t issue a recall. I also, have had transmission defects that has needed repairs and replacement due to Power-shift dual-clutch, harsh shifting and power failure. My trucks have had two transmission major repairs. The first time on 9/6/22 at 36,541 miles the whole transmission had to be replaced completely due to powertrain or reduced engine power. Then again on 9/20/25 at 62,948 miles same issue Powertrain (wrench symbol) on the supposedly new transmission this time Ford dealership said it was the transmissions Dual clutches. This i didn't understand why was it happening with a new transmission and always met with an I don’t know these things happen by Ford attendants. This caused to go without a vehicle for months having to use public transportation, loss of money, and time from work. Again, none of these defects were explained or recalled.Read more

After several trips to the dealership, for the loud metal to metal type bang, they have replaced struts, rear stab links and shock absorbers. On 9/17/2025 the mechanic was given a list of items to inspect and the dealership informed me that one of the items on the list was to check the frame welds. I was informed that they found the broken weld and have forward pictures to KIA engineers. I was informed that the car is safe to drive and they will get back to me within a couple weeks. They offered me a loaner car but it would be a KIA Soul which is too small for my wife that has bad knees to get in and out of. If it was my vehicle only, I'd say I'd cut my losses and just get a new car, but I've read dozens of stories online about this issue and saw a temporary recall from back in 2022 for this exact problem. There are also many class action lawsuits active that name my make and model and the same coolant issues. I am attempting to escalate this with Ford as the technician said I maybe have two weeks before the engine fails altogether, which is obviously a huge danger to me and my family. Hoping Ford can be forced to do the right thing and issue a recall. I am in a tough spot where my family has a single car and either need to pay the large repair bill or pay-off an equivalent sized loan in order to trade in this car (with these known issues) for a new vehicle in the next few days.Read more

1. The car began to randomly stall and stop running. This happened while driving and it was extremely dangerous. Typically, the engine would restart after at least waiting 15 minutes. ... ts, and on the freeway at high speed. It did not matter how full the gas tank was. 3. My brother and I diagnosed the problem as intermittent loss of fuel pressure. 4. My brother and I replaced the FACTORY fuel pump, and to hour horror, when we unplugged the electrical connection/plug, one of the pins from the fuel pump came out with the plug/connector. 5. We inspected the fuel pump and discovered that parts of the electrical plug INSIDE THE FUEL TANK had become burned and melted. See Image SANY0135.JPG === This is a SAFETY DEFECT - either the internal fuel pump electrical connections were faulty from the factory or the problem developed over time. There have been other recalls for this model of car for random engine stalls but this is a NEW and DIFFERENT cause. A dealer with a relatively inexpensive Infrared camera could likely spot this problem with minimal vehicle disassembly. There was clearly a LOT of heat concentrated in the area of the electrical connection to the fuel pump. We hope this report triggers a recall and prevents extremely dangerous random loss of engine power events, fires, or worse. Please recall all the vehicles that used that fuel pump for inspection before there is a disaster.Read more

Our VW Atlas Cross Sport 2023 was involved in an accident on August 3, 2025 where the Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning did not work. Firstly, we reported issues with our brakes several times and took the vehicle to Rick Case VW in Weston/Davie more than once to rectify this problem. However, the problem has never been fixed, and persisted up until the time of the accident.

Attempts to address the fact that the car's non-working features contributed to the accident remain unresolved with Rick Case VW (seller) and VW Corporate (manufacturer), as of September 17. We made several amicable and fair requests, up to and including: 1) giving us another/newer vehicle without any charges or fees whatsoever, or change to payment amount unless it is less, and/or 2) refunding all monies paid to date so we could find a new car on our own. To date, there has been very little communication from either party and no genuine care or effort to assist us with this case. The Rick Case Collision Center has been in possession of our vehicle for approximately 6 weeks to fix an array of damages. At this point, we do not feel the car is road-worthy or safe to drive and we have made this expressly clear in emails and voicemails to VW/Rick Case VW. The management of Rick Case VW has made no offer of a loaner nor have they acknowledged our request to exchange this vehicle. They are well aware that their faulty, non-functioning systems in our VW 2023 Atlas SE contributed to the accident in August. Their professionalism and respect for the customer would have gone a long way in resolving this in a timely and amicable manner. It was also put at risk by the pre-collision warning system not activated at all and causing an accident. My safety has further been put at risk by Subaru asking me to continue to drive my vehicle to help them figure out what is happening. I am not a crash test dummy. 3. The problem has not been able to be reproduced but I do have some pictures of the malfunctions. 4. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealership. 5. My vehicle has been plagued with multiple electrical issues prior to the pre-collision warning activating for no apparent reason. Tire size: P 235/45 R 18 While I was driving home from work my steering started feeling a little shaky. My commute is 6.5 miles. I thought it felt a little weird about 2-3 miles in and I called my boyfriend to meet me when I got home because I could tell something was off, but my tire pressure was fine. ... and pulled off. I called again for help while I was parked and walked around to see if there was anything weird and I could not see anything. About 3-4 minutes later while I was sitting in my car waiting, my tire exploded. It shook my car and was so loud that people ran out of the building I was in front of to see what happened. At this point, I had a tire indicator come up saying something was wrong. When I walked around my car again, I saw in one of my tires the cords came out and split in middle of the tread causing separation, and the tire still had air in it. It also scratched my paint around the tire. When I had help come, we put my spare on and got it home, and we took it to a tire dealer the following morning. They all were shocked at how new the tire was and what happened. Everyone is so glad I was parked when it happened and upon research, this is a common occurrence with this brand and type of tire anywhere with 1000-10000 miles on it. My vehicle is less than 6800 mi and the specialists even said the tire had basically no wear and was faulty. On top of that, Pirelli warranty essentially refused to process anything and the dealer that THEY told us they would work with, Pirelli kept hanging up on them. They would not give me a name, let me speak to a supervisor, or give me a call back number should the call “disconnect” again. The dealer was able to comp the tire through their management, but even then, the issue of the faulty tire remains, and based on what I felt, I don’t want someone to get hurt having this happen to them while their car is in motion.Read more
