For a couple days I have had trouble tightening and loosening the straps, so I checked the back to see if the straps were catching on anything and on the actual base of the car seat, there is a part that is associated with adjusting the headrest up/down that comes out in the way of the path of the straps, and has caught on the strap and torn through the strap of the car seat itself. I tried moving
... that part out of the way of the strap so that the strap can have a clear path to tighten and loosen as needed, and it doesn't budge out of the way. At the point that I noticed this metal part in the way of the strap, it had already torn through the strap and compromised the car seat. I have contacted Maxi Cosi and gotten the replacement process started, and have since removed the seat from my car and am currently using one from another vehicle. The car seat is still in my possession and I have not completed the destruction process so it can still be inspected. The strap was torn and therefore compromised. No one has inspected it yet except for myself. When I contacted Maxi Cosi they did not request to see pictures. I have a video that shows this situation better but I cannot upload it. When at red lights, or in traffic, when you release the brake pedal to inch farther, and re-apply the brakes they go straight to the floor and you have to basically stand up on the brake pedal to finally stop. Sterling BMW performed the inspection on October 2, 2025, and documented the issue in their inspection report, listing “motor mounts are sagging” under “Needs Immediate Attention,” with an estimated repair cost of $2,301.12. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? BMW of North America was contacted on October 15, 2025. They verbally denied warranty coverage, refused to provide a written response, and did not investigate further. The issue has not been independently inspected by police or insurance representatives. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No dashboard warning lights or messages appeared. The issue was only reported by the dealer during the October 2, 2025 service visit. I have not experienced noticeable vibration, noise, or performance changes that would typically indicate failed mounts. I took the car to my Honda service shop and they provided the following diagnostic: [Other]: Verify customer concern that theirs multiple lights on on the vehicle, then check for codes notice theirs code for U3000-49 multipurpose camera unit/ millimeter wave radar internal electric failure. Then disconnect one of the connectors for sensor to single one out to see if when clear the code to see if stays on or not, after clearing the code lights still came on and code pop on. Recommend start first replacing with a new multi purpose camera, and retest. I paid for the repair as it needs fixed for safety purposes. The cost was $1,950.00. Honda should be responsible for covering this as it is some type of camera malfunction and the vehicle is only 3 years old.Read more

I purchased the 2017 Optima Hybrid from Huntington Beach Hyundai on [XXX]. I made sure to double check with the dealer if the engine and hybrid battery were in good condition, in which the salesman reassured me everything is good. ... n the night of [XXX]. I was driving on the highway near the Getty going roughly 70 mph up the mountain roads while all of a sudden the "check hybrid system" warning came on in the car. The car immediately went into limp mode, and I did everything I could to slow the car to a complete stop, and stop on the freeway shoulder safely. It was a traumatizing experience to me, as this is a major safety issue with the vehicle, and other cars were travelling really fast in LA mountain areas. I had the car towed to a auto repair shop the next day, the mechanics did a deep inspection and informed me the hybrid inverter has failed. I paid $2,177 to replace the hybrid inverter with the mechanic. The mechanic also informed me while they were test driving they heard a knocking sound from the engine. I did a look up and found out there is a class settlement and safety campaigns on the engine for 2017 Optima Hybrid due to the faulty factory rod bearings, and the 150K miles extended warranty from Kia should apply to replace my faulty engine free of charge. I will be getting my car towed to Car Pros Kia in Huntington Beach on October 15th, 2025, and request the dealer to replace my engine per Kia's extended warranty. I am filing the complaint because the car is having problems after problems in barely 4 months of ownership, in which I believe I have purchased a lemon, or Huntington Beach Hyundai knowingly hid the facts the components were faulty. The codes I got make way more sense than a new transmission. -U0140:00-08--BCM missing communication -U1A00:87-08--APIM private communication network malfunction -U2013:01-08-- Switch pack issue Also the EVAP system vapor pressure as well as Oxygen sensor current (B1-S1) is functioning incorrectly and randomly drops below the normal range. My transmission is fine... All they had to do is updated/reset my BCM when they had it as well as perform a "relearn". But they didn't!!! Clearly these are not always transmission issues but service work is what makes dealerships more money.Read more

I took it to the dealer, and Hyundai refuses to accept the engine repair because the title is rebuilt. The car has no damage to its original engine and is ready to be replaced. When slowing to a stop the vehicle is unsmooth and unpredictable, there is also a sudden release when braking downhill (not sure if they are related). There’s been occasions where the car lurched when coming to a stop almost resulting in me rear ending the vehicle in front of me. Vehicle Information: Year: 2020 Make: Kia Model: S V6 VIN: [XXX] Current Mileage: Approximately 85,808 miles Timeline of Events: September 6, 2024 – Oil change completed at Kia dealership in Easton. No prior issues reported at this time. [XXX] – After about a week of shaking and stuttering during acceleration, the vehicle shut off completely at a stoplight. Upon checking, the oil level was found to be empty. I added 6–7 quarts of oil. No oil warning light appeared on the dashboard at any time. January 14, 2025 – Brought the vehicle to the Easton Kia dealership. Diagnosed with a broken and leaking oil filter housing, which was replaced. Another oil change was completed. [XXX] – After the engine light came on, I checked the oil at 77,021 miles and found it to be low again. I added 1 quart of oil. The engine light was later determined to be due to a loose gas cap. Once again, no oil warning light appeared. [XXX] – At 78,000 miles, I checked the oil, as advised by Kia, to monitor consumption. The oil level was completely empty. I added another 6–7 quarts of oil. No warning light appeared on the dashboard. [XXX] -- Kia for oil change and consumption test at 82,177 miles. Consumption was read after 1,000 miles and I was advised it was good. I was told to come back at 86,075 miles as per Kia recommendation. [XXX] -- A few hundred miles before the deadline, at approx 85,790 miles I checked oil before a trip, it was empty. Again, no warning light came on the dashboard to warn me of low/no oil. Car was taken in for service for a water pump recall. When I receive the car back there is a radiator photo on the dashboard as if there is low coolant. After returning the car to BMW they are stating that the water pump part that was fixed has nothing to do with why there is now a coolant leak from the back of the radiator. The fuel leak is coming from the fuel pump.

While driving, the vehicle began accelerating (forced acceleration) without driver input. When driver attempted to stop or slow the vehicle down, the brakes were unresponsive due to the brake override system failure. Because the vehicle could not be stopped or slowed down, and to avoid hitting or harming others, driver veered off the road which caused the vehicle to flip multiple times and finally

Because of the potential for engine bearing failure, our 2022 Nissan Rogue has been sitting in our garage for the past two months as we continue to make payments on it. It is unacceptable that Nissan continues to delay their efforts to provide a remedy for this issue. I can't imagine what Nissan Rogue owners will do if this is their only vehicle.
