I had to have the injectors replaced in April 2025. In November I was told a had a busted head gasket $5800.00 to fix. Many Honda owners have had this problem. Honda customer services refuses to help.

It did not crank for several tries while I was panicking with a car full of kids in a busy intersection. When I got it to crank again it turned off again. After charging me $250 for a diagnostic the dealerships response was that the cylinder walls and piston rings were damaged causing excessive oil consumption and that I need to replace my engine. $9,000 for a new engine at 127,000 miles is ridiculous. The other driver drove off. His car was damaged so much that it was not drivable. There was radiator fluid on the road. This was on [XXX]. He took the car in immediately after back to the Toyota dealership. The car is still there. It has been almost 40 days now with no resolution. No car, no rental. The dealership is saying Toyota (the headquarters has to deal with it), and Toyota did a 3rd party inspection on Nov 11, 2025. And now they are saying they will do another Toyota inspection between 30 and 45 business days from the initial inspection. So that takes us into mid January 2026 with my dad stranded with no car or having to uber or pay out of pocket to rent a car. On top of that, the dealership now has told my dad he has to get the car off their lot or start accumulating fees. They performed an EDR report. Attachin below. I will see what can be covered under warranty but it seems only the seat issue would be covered. This needs to be addressed the brakes are too small and under powered for this size of a vehicle especially if you are towing. It appear they wear out prematurely if your using the cruise control which I don’t use a often or drive down mountain sides or tow at the moment so it doesn’t make sense I have a 2023 Nissan pathfinder with less than 28000 miles. This sensor circuit failure caused the high-voltage system to shut down unexpectedly. This created a severe safety hazard, as the vehicle was rendered unable to accelerate. I was forced to navigate from the far-left lane across multiple lanes of traffic to reach the exit while the vehicle was effectively crippled, moving at speeds under 10 mph amidst highway-speed traffic. My 2016 Malibu has a severe EBCM-related safety defect causing all four brakes to drag and overheat (reaching 240°F), leading to unstable handling. This condition mirrors the 2016 Malibu EBCM recall (GM Recall 39440). I sought help from GM. A GM-certified dealer-Monken in Centralia, IL performed a “diagnostic scan” which documented the core hydraulic failure: a constant, uncommanded 6.839 psi
... residual brake line pressure when the pedal was released. (A healthy system should be near 0 psi) This 6.839 psi is actively forcing the brakes to drag. The dealer ignored their own scientific data and submitted a fraudulent diagnosis of ("rust buildup") to GM, which GM used to deny the claim based on mileage. “Rust buildup” doesn’t create hydraulic pressure. GM is aware of this specific, documented, quantifiable safety defect (the 6.839 psi pressure) and is refusing to investigate it further. I stressed to GM that the vehicle wasn’t safe to drive and that I have a small child who has to ride in the car with me. GM dismissed my concerns by stating the dealership won’t release my car unless its safe to drive. I then had to drive the car 22 miles back home with all 4 brakes dragging. I requested the full diagnostic scan report (that the mechanic confirmed he could provide me with when I dropped my car off there) numerous times and never did I get one. I informed them that I would be filing a complaint hadn’t I received it by a certain time. The new kid in service then did send me screenshots of a generic OBDII scanner where I saw the 6.839 psi. I knew what the issue was prior to taking my car to Monken. I had an independent scan done prior. I only took the car there to comply with GM’s protocol to be eligible for assistance. I am requesting NHTSA investigate GM for failure to address a documented hydraulic control safety defect that causes brake dragging and overheating, which is non-compliant with safety standards. I always wear my belt and never has it been in the door or anything so I’m not sure what caused this horrible problem but it’s even worse ford refuses to replace it. I drive a 2010 edge se fwd it has only 88k miles and has barely been driven and one owner. I’ve looked online and seen that a lot of fords have had recalled seat belts. I believe this needs to be a recall especially considering all the front driver’s seat belts on ford have been discontinued and they don’t offer any other brand of replacement. How can they expect to ensure the safety of the driver of the car if they don’t have a lifetime replacement warranty on the actual belt itself or even offer a replacement for a decent price or a replacement at all for that matter considering all have been discontinued that tells me they weren’t that secure to begin with if they aren’t even available.Read more

Vehicle engine failure has been confirmed by dealership, Ruben Milton Chevrolet and Jim Hudson Cadillac in Augusta Georgia. Consistent clicking noise when turning steering wheel left or right from stopped to slow speeds. Noise observed around 1,200 miles. Both front CV joints/axels were replaced by dealership of purchase at approximately 3,200 miles. Identical clicking sounds have begun again. Vehicle has approximately 5,200. It will try to randomly delete app icons such as the camera, it will try to delete connected phones, it will try to delete radio favorites and it will move app icons all around.
