... fix the issue with the transmission now. This was the information I got from the dealership. Then they proceded to tell me that SC250 is for code P1C2D03 and my car is giving code P193B79. I explained when I search online the two issues are very closely related and the kmsister company of Hyundai includes both coves in their recall. I have loss of power, as stated in the recall. I explained to the dealership that when I pulled out of my road, I tried to cross and I pressed the gas. The car would not got above 15 mph and the rpms went very high. The dealership called it a "limp motor" when I described it to them. After calling Kia customer service they told me that the dealership makes the call if it is under warranty. I called the dealership back and they told me again that because it was marked completed in 2023, it can't be under that recall. I easked because I didn't have the code in 2023, what was done to prevent this issue from happening on my car. They explained again they closed the ticket in 2023, so it can't be under that recall. I am having the loss of power, explained in SC250 and the dealership told me it is the engine pump fail. They explained it is the same part but a different code. I explained again how those 2 codes are very similar issues and their sister company agrees. I also explained an article I found online for Kia, where those 2 codes are very related. The abrupt braking could have caused a rear-end collision had someone been close behind us which also could have caused numerous vehicles to be involved. We turned off the FCW & AB system through the setting on the vehicle infotainment screen. - 11/26/2025 The dealership where we purchased the vehicle, confirmed numerous transmission codes and found metal shaving in the transmission fluid through a fluid test. Chrysler advised them to perform a "relearn" on the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and required us to drive it 500 miles to complete the "drive relearn" putting our safety at risk should this not be effective. On 11/27/2025 after turning the FCW & AB system back on, within 2 miles of performing the "drive relearn" the check engine light came back on and noise from the transmission was prominent. The vehicle went into limp mode not allowing acceleration past 10-15mph. On 12/1/2025 The Jeep was taken back to the dealership where they scanned and found code P0729 for gear error in 6th gear. They found the transmission internally failing. For 68 days Chrysler requested numerous testing from the dealership until finally agreeing to the warranty for a new transmission. Work completed 1/29/2026. - The vehicle has only been inspected by the dealerships mechanic who also performed the transmission swap. - There was no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure.Read more

... vior. At times, the vehicle accelerates on its own without driver input. At other times, the vehicle detects objects that are not present, causing the car to suddenly stop while reversing or swerve to avoid perceived obstacles that are not actually in the roadway. These events occur unpredictably and create a risk of collision with surrounding vehicles, pedestrians, or objects. During these occurrences, safety systems and alerts may become unavailable or inoperable, leaving the driver without audible or visual warnings. Audio alerts and system feedback have also stopped functioning during these events, further increasing the safety risk. The vehicle has been brought in for service approximately 8–9 times for various concerns, including these safety issues. Despite repeated service visits, the problems remain unresolved. Restarting the vehicle sometimes restores functionality, but the defects continue to recur unpredictably. This vehicle is used to transport young children, and these failures present a significant risk of serious injury or death. The unpredictability of the unintended acceleration, false braking/steering, and loss of safety systems makes the vehicle unsafe to operate. I am submitting this complaint due to concern for my family’s safety and the safety of others on the road, and because the manufacturer has not resolved the defect after repeated attempts. I received a safety recall on my vehicle in October, and it is now almost february and there is still no remedy. This safety recall is the Transmission Shift Cable A0C. The recall states: "This can cause an unexpected and unrecoverable loss of PARK function and/or vehicle movement in an unintended direction which can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning and/or injury to others outside the
... vehicle." This is putting myself and others at risk. The dealership has confirmed the issue and has no remedy. They informed me to wait for the remedy. My vehicle has been developing the symptoms of this recall for about 3 years. The key gets stuck in the ignition, the car does not go into or out of PARK easily, it sticks. After I park my car rolls backwards. My vehicle does not feel like its in park. The shifter has become stiff and does not want to move. The form says " do not drive" on mopars official recall. The vehicle displayed a Malfunction Indicator Light warning indicating an engine and emissions system malfunction, with warnings that continued operation could cause additional damage. Such warnings and failures create a risk of reduced power, drivability issues, or further system failure while operating the vehicle. Insurance repair documentation reflects the selection of a recycled LKQ drivetrain related component, including a recycled engine, transaxle, or CVT related component, which raises additional concerns about durability and safety when installed in a nearly new vehicle. Early powertrain and electrical failures involving engine management and emissions systems may implicate compliance with federal motor vehicle safety standards and warrant review under NHTSA defect monitoring authority. I am requesting that NHTSA log, track, and evaluate this complaint for defect trend analysis, potential noncompliance, or further investigation under 49 U.S.C. My Ford F-150 is having issues that is known to Ford about the cold rattle start which consists of the cam phasers are defective and can cause serious damage to the engine. At the time Ford had put out some customer program and my vehicle has only got 36,000 miles on it and the problem has now just started. I called ford service center and the service man was surprised that mine started going bad
... at such a low mileage vehicle and pretty much said theirs nothing they can do except pay thousands in repair. And I explained to him that when ford had sent the customer program out my vehicle wasn’t encountering any issues and he said they cannot offer that to me. My truck is in very new condition don’t drive it much so now I’m stuck with a new truck where the engine can die out at any given time. Ford knows this was a problem from the beginning so why didn’t they recall this as this is a very expensive repair.
