While operating my 2024 Kia EV6, the vehicle began displaying repeated warnings related to the power system and 12-volt battery. The instrument cluster first showed a “Power limited” message, followed shortly by a “Stop vehicle and check power supply” warning. At the same time, the vehicle indicated that the 12-volt battery was low, despite the high-voltage traction battery being at or nea
... r full charge. Shortly thereafter, the 12-volt battery became fully depleted, resulting in a complete loss of low-voltage electrical power. I was unable to electronically unlock the doors, and the vehicle could not be started or shifted into gear. The vehicle became immobilized and inoperable, requiring towing. This failure occurred without warning and created a safety concern, as loss of power could potentially occur while driving or leave occupants stranded and unable to access the vehicle. The vehicle had previously been serviced at a Kia dealership for known power system concerns related to the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU). During that visit, the dealership applied a firmware update only and did not replace the ICCU hardware. The current failure occurred after that firmware update, suggesting the issue was not resolved. This incident represents a loss of motive power and loss of vehicle electrical systems, which could present a serious safety risk if it occurs while the vehicle is in motion or in unsafe environments. The inability to unlock doors or start the vehicle due to complete 12-volt battery depletion is particularly concerning. When roadside assistance arrived to tow the vehicle to the dealership, the vehicle’s 12-volt battery was completely depleted, preventing normal recovery procedures. A portable jump starter was temporarily connected, but the vehicle would not remain powered on long enough to complete the steps required to place the vehicle into neutral or tow mode.Read more

This 2019 Honda Accord was part of the fuel pump recall that occurred in 23/24. The vehicle was taken in and had the fuel pump fixed at the dealership under the recall. From that point we have begun to have issues with the fuel injectors. The vehicle started to run rough, and then all of the dash lights came on. All accessory items, Lane Departure warning, adaptive cruise control, etc, all stay on
... as if malfunctioning. The vehicle was taken into dealership and diagnostic was run, results was two failing fuel injectors. Calls were placed to Honda and request was made to have them assist in a goodwill repair since so many of these vehicles are experiencing the same issue after the recall repair was made. Honda did a review of the diagnostic report and reported problem and stated that the vehicle fell outside of the warranty on the fuel injectors, and that they would not honor any assistance in repairs. They stated case was closed and no further conversations could be had. I mentioned that I knew that they had issued an extended warranty on 2016-2019 Honda CRV's and Civics for the fuel injectors up to 150,000 miles. They stated that my vehicle VIN did not fall within those, which I acknowledge. Vehicle is still malfunctioning and we will be responsible for the repairs, even though this is a well known issue after the fuel pump recall repair. It was stated that we will just need to fix the repairs on our own, which is over $2000 and that, if in the future, there is a recall or extended warranty offered then we could try and speak with them about possibly getting our money back.Read more

The axles on my vehicle are defective. Every time I make a turn (left, right, or U-turn) the vehicle makes a loud clicking noise. I’ve taken the vehicle in 3 times. Initially, Honda promised to fix the issue, yet each time I’ve gone in they always come up with an excuse (1st time: we ordered the wrong part, 2nd time: sorry we wasted your time today, the part still isn’t in yet, 3rd time: unf
... ortunately Honda has released a bulletin, they are urging us not to replace the axles because it doesn’t fix the issue/does not pose a safety threat) this is after 3 TIMES. Each time my car was kept ALL day. Each time I would drop my car off at 8 am, and by the time I’m being called by my Honda service rep it’s already past 5 pm. My time has literally been wasted MULTIPLE TIMES. Why would you contact me to bring the car in so many times if you knew you were never going to fix the problem to begin with? The bulletin that was shown to me was released on 12/19/25. The problem is, the date that I was in (my 3rd and final time) was on 1/27/26. So why would you string me along for over a month if you knew that bulletin had already been released? Completely diabolical. Honda wasted my time and refuses to fix the problem. This vehicle is an issue and EVERYONE knows it. All of the Honda Prologue forums literally say the exact same thing from owners of this vehicle (AXLE ISSUES). This is a safety hazard. Clicking axles are not normal on a BRAND NEW car. Ridiculous. I’ve even tried to get out of my lease and they are not allowing me to (without penalty of course). I’m mad at myself for even purchasing this car. Shame on you Honda!!!Read more

-I had just exited from the highway and was driving into my town. While doing so, I had both hands on the steering wheel and suddenly the car started beeping and flashing warnings/ alerts indicating that my hands were not on the steering wheel, which they were. Within seconds the car began to deaccelerate and pull me off the road to my right hand side. I initially had no control over the vehicle.
... Then again- without explanation it began to register hands on the steering wheel and I was able to resume control of the vehicle. I believe the lane assist feature was on at the time. It all happened very quickly. Had I still been on the highway as I was moments before, there was enough traffic that I would have been pulled into another vehicle or caused an accident if people saw me suddenly rapidly deaccelerating/braking in front of them because they would have no warning and a very tiny amount of time to react. Then, in an other instance that followed shortly thereafter, my boyfriend was driving with one of the lane assist on. While driving, the weather changed and it began snowing and freezing rain that was freezing when it hit the windshield. The lane assist began to have trouble seeing the lines on the road since the snow and ice were obscuring them somewhat. It began to beep and gently correct the car- which was not appropriate in this case (we understand that the road conditions were beyond its abilities to safely discern things accurately). My boyfriend who had two hands on the wheel trying to carefully navigate this sudden burst of weather so at not to slide. He tried turning it off, but it wasn't turning off, and couldn't troubleshoot it without taking his hands off the wheel. He instructed me to turn it off through the settings menu in the infotainment system, which seemed to disable it. Prior to these dangerous problems, I had experienced some seemingly sensor- related malfunctions with the tire pressure monitoring system. I'm out of room to write more.Read more

I have and am the original owner of a Kia Cadenza 2017 with the 3.3L Lambda engine (same engine as the Sorento lawsuit). The warning lights I got were p0171,p0174, and p0191, and am worried that after the repair the engine will eventually fail due to the buildup as the main issue isn’t properly being addressed. The issue occurred about 300 miles ago where the dealership erased it. Then told the vehicle did not have any issues. Brought it back to the Kia dealership where they finally gave a proper diagnosis after being told nothing was wrong with car. I am concerned as there are lots of owners online experiencing the same issues with their Kia cadenzas and nothing done about it. Took the vehicle in after it stalled in traffic, but, as seen, the repair cost is high and a temporary band aid.Read more

These charges stem directly from defects/malfunctions causing severe safety hazards associated with systemic recall-affected vehicle components. These severe defects have substantially impaired the use, value, and safety of my vehicle. Texas law requires a true remedy, replacing a defective vehicle with another year/model known to have the exact same safety recalls does not resolve the problem or cures the defect. Therefore, a replacement vehicle with ongoing systemic recalls across multiple safety systems with 2024–2025 Atlas Cross Sport models including braking, chassis bolt torque, camera visibility, engine cover fire risk, and airbag defects is not an acceptable remedy. Volkswagen’s failure to repair, dismiss complaints, and refusal to document safety defects constitute a material breach of warranty, breach of contract, fraudulent concealment, and fraudulent conduct under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act and Federal laws. Waiting several months for parts due to recalls/defects, increasing hazards, and safety risks place me and my special needs child in grave danger creating extreme anxiety and fear of driving our vehicle.Read more

A few minutes later, I tried to turn on the car and some displays were off, there was no drive power, the steering wheel did not turn, the door locks were flakey, and I wasn't able to tell if I had shifted into Park or if the parking brake was engaged. When the tow truck arrived, the car was completely unresponsive and there was no way to release the parking brake or shift the car in neutral, so the car was dragged across the pavement and onto the tow truck. The failure was quick and comprehensive and could have easily caused injury. There are many highways near me with fast, busy traffic and either no emergency shoulder or a very narrow one. If my car tells me that I need to stop the vehicle, that can create a very dangerous choice between stopping somewhere less safe quickly or risking the car being completely disabled while in the travel lane while I look for a safer spot. Loss of cabin heat can easily become dangerous very quickly in the winter. Many drivers may not even understand the urgency of the warning until the car starts failing to drive. The car is at a Kia dealership for repair who confirmed an ICCU failure. See related NHTSA recall no 24V-867 and others. ICCU failures are endemic to Kia and Hyundai EVs. ICCU failures are widely discussed on many internet forums and seem much more common than the 1% failure rate claimed by Hyundai/Kia. Driving with my wife and [XXX] child, there was a pop sound from under the car, and the car suddenly showed multiple faults, including "Check electric vehicle system”, which cleared on their own. I parked and turned the car off and on again and the faults reappeared. I started driving home, and during the drive it showed "Stop vehicle and check power supply" and audibly alarmed. As I was only h
... alf a mile from my house on local quiet roads, I made it.
