On December 17, 2025, I brought my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe (30th Anniversary Edition) to Los Angeles Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram for safety recall 68C involving the high-voltage (HV) battery. The dealer performed the required recall software update/flash and diagnostic and confirmed the vehicle failed 68C, meaning the HV traction battery pack requires replacement. The vehicle remains at the deale
... r and is available for inspection. I cannot take the vehicle home even if I tried: per the recall process it must remain at the dealer once it fails, and the software flash/diagnostic effectively “bricked” the vehicle, rendering it undriveable until the HV battery is replaced. This defect involves the HV battery, a critical energy-storage component with serious safety implications. The problem has been confirmed by an authorized dealer; no police/insurance inspection. The dealer initially stated the battery would arrive around January 12, 2026, but it did not. At ~4 weeks out of service I called the dealer for an update—no ETA, status, or tracking. The dealer has never proactively contacted me. At ~8 weeks I called Jeep Cares—no ETA, tracking, or meaningful update; they only contacted the dealer. I am still making payments on a vehicle immobilized at the dealer for ~9 weeks due to the recall remedy delay. I also did not receive the $100 recall compensation gift cards and Jeep Cares has not resolved that. I am filing this complaint because the recall remedy is not being provided within a reasonable time, leaving me without transportation and without any timeline for a critical safety-recall repair.Read more

While driving in traffic I heard a pop, then the "Check Electric Vehicle System" warning came on the dashboard. The multifunction ADAS camera module failed due to "Internal Error" at only 9 years old. This means that critical safety systems such as automatic emergency braking/lane keep assist malfunctioned and could not assist with avoiding collisions. I took the car to the dealer and they confirmed the issue, and charged me $2000 to fix this critical safety system. I noticed that the new camera assembly ha

I have also seen some forum posts online of others having this failure with their 2016-2017 Accords with Honda Sensing. Therefore I believe this should warrant a recall. When the failure first occurred upon vehicle startup a few days before I had it repaired, all these systems were disabled and there were multiple warning lamps on the gauge cluster and screen. Prior to this sudden failure, everything had been working fine as intended up until the very day it failed.Read more

Downshift in transmission, now shudder when going 45-70. Started around 65,000 miles now I have around 87,000 miles on it.
Incident date: Feb 15, 2026

My vehicle has been stalling for several months. I have taken to the dealership multiple times and it is still not fixed. Since the last visit at the service department it has done this 5 times. Twice today. It has done this multiple times crossing the interstate.
Incident date: Feb 18, 2026
Component/System Failure: The vehicle is experiencing a catastrophic transmission failure (specifically the 10R80 transmission) beyond what is described in Ford TSB 24-2101. The transmission slips significantly and loses all power transmission while in motion. Safety Risk: My safety and the safety of other motorists are at extreme risk. While driving at highway speeds (approx. 65-70 MPH), the ve
... hicle suddenly loses the ability to maintain speed or accelerate. This causes an immediate, unexpected deceleration in high-speed traffic, nearly resulting in rear-end collisions. The system takes several seconds to "reset" or catch a gear, during which time I have zero control over the vehicle's propulsion. This is an intermittent but recurring failure that makes the vehicle unpredictable and life-threatening to operate in traffic. Confirmation/Inspection: The problem has been confirmed by a Ford dealership service center and a secondary certified independent mechanic. Both confirmed the transmission is failing and cited TSB 24-2101 as the diagnostic path. The Ford dealership inspected the vehicle and confirmed that a full transmission replacement is required, but stated they would not provide financial assistance as the vehicle is just past the default warranty, despite the TSB acknowledging a known manufacturing defect. Symptoms/Warning Lamps: Symptoms began approximately August 2025. There were no warning lamps prior to the first failure, although it flashes lights temporarily when the problem occurs. The primary symptom is a sudden "free-spinning" or rattling engine sensation followed by a complete loss of forward momentum. The issue has grown progressively worse over the last months and as such is not safely drivable.Read more

My car exhibited a random loss of power which led to dangerous driving conditions. At times, when I wanted to accelerate to pass a vehicle on a two lane highway, I would enter the left lane to pass a vehicle and had zero acceleration which left me in a vulnerable position relative to oncoming traffic. Other times, the vehicle would not accelerate from a stop, rev to high RPMs and not shift out of
... 3rd gear without manual intervention. Another time, I was accelerating to make a lane change and the vehicle lagged, nearly causing a rear end collision by the vehicle behind me. There were no warning indications whatsoever on the dash, but I my OBD-II code reader indicated "P26CB00". When I researched this, I took my car into the dealer. The were able to replicate the problem and informed me that my vehicle had a punctured intercooler radiator which was caused by a road hazard and therefore would not be covered under warranty. After my inspection, I noticed a design flaw in the lower portion of the grill which allowed objects to impact the lower radiator without any protection whatsoever. Apparently, this leak caused my car's turbo system to not engage which is why there was a random loss of power. The repair of the radiator and water pump (which they said had failed because it ran dry) was over $2500. The dealer told me that they had had another Genesis GV70 with the same issue the prior week but that all cars have some unresolved problem or another. Based on my experience, this was a serious safety issue and so I also reached out to Genesis Corporate on 2/12/26 and they assigned it case #42240745. I have not heard back from them as of yet. Sun Roof has leaked. The Sun roof leaked a considerable amount of water and it came through the head liner around the ceiling mounted control panel as well as the back of the car. Through online blogs and forums I have found that this is a common issue with 2021 and newer tahoes and suburbans. And that
... is a reoccurring problem that is commonly not fixed properly by the dealers This causes a safety and health issue as well as an unacceptable vehicle defect. 1.) From a safety standpoint, if I am driving down the highway and a large amount of water starts pouring out of the headliner on the driver it causes a major distraction that could lead to high speed accident. 2.) From a health issue, regular water leaks could lead to vehicle mold and water damage. I have children, if they become susceptible to the mold it could cause health issues for me or my children. 3.) The water that pours out of the ceiling lands on the dash electronics which could lead to more vehicle issues by damaging electronic controls. It is my opinion that this is a major vehicle defect and something should be done by the manufacturer to correct it. Certified shop said my timing chain was going as well as other associated components. My car is always low on oil even when mileage has not been met. Found my car is part of piston ring recall. Dealership stated my car is not affected however the issues the shop found most certainly confirm my issue which is going to cost over $2k to fix is associated with this. Dealership not only says my car
... passed piston ring recall but wanted $175 to diagnose what has already been diagnosed and then another $175 on top of that to "dig into the engine". Check engine light came on and car began making noise and not running properly on 2/7/2026 on 2/9/2026 called independent service center and car was checked out and diagnosed on 2/11/2026. Found out this is likely recall related 2/12/2026. Car was looked at by dealership on 2/17/2026 and I was told the aforementioned. However magically the two other recalls on this vehicle were remedied but not this one.Read more

To Whom It May Concern; Again having ongoing issues and problems with my 2025 crosstrek. Just got it back from the dealership after it being there for over 3 weeks. I was returned to me with a nail in the tire. And they even lost my keys at the dealership. I've had my car back not even 24 hours and have 2 maintenance sensors come on. And the driver asst is only working one one side. Of cours
... e I contact the Subaru dealership - only to get dumped into a voicemail that doesn't get checked. I'm yet to hear from anyone from Subaru. Most likely won't. At this time it seems like the only way to get anything resolved is to seek legal action. That's sad because it really shouldn't have to come to that. Starting to wonder honestly if anyone actually works or does their job at Subaru. (or at least there job title on the person's business card) This has really gotten so ugly and out of hand all because Subaru "REFUSES" to follow up and "REFUSES" to follow through.Such an easy fix, Subaru have a service department. just fix my car. Geezzz - I know the mechanics have got to be certified.Just seems to be a never ending laundry list of maintenance issues with this vehicle. Clearly it's a lemon. It's a 2025 model - just swap it out already! This is utterly ridiculous! I can no longer make payments on [XXX] So I guess Subaru wont be getting my money for my lease on a car that seldomly works. Guess that's one way of getting out of payments. So that better not be getting my credit dinged because of this mess either.I am literally counting the days down to turn this hunk of junk back to Subaru. This has been the ultimate WORST experience of my entire life! And your dealership refuses to do anything about it at all! I even have multiple cases open with Subaru of America - they to REFUSE to do anything to address my issues at all. Never following up on phone calls or emails. I can't believe they're still in business!!! [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

While driving on the highway during a rainstorm, the high voltage fuse on my car's Internal Charge Control Unit blew and the ICCU itself failed. This rendered the vehicle inoperable as soon as I managed to get it to the shoulder. It took two weeks to repair, and I had to argue with Hyundai's corporate lines for almost six months before the offered a partial reimbursement for their device failure.

November 26th my car went into LOMP mode. But then restored itself. December 3rd my car went into LOMP mode again and had not recovered along with a slew of ALARMS. I have been using uber and rental cars since this issue. Highly likely this is a fuel pump issue but unable to determine as the authorized shop is 2hours away and the car will not make it there. I need a remedy I have been out of a ca
