Driving on an Interstate Highway in Florida, hit a small "rut" in the roadway at Highway speeds and the front end started shaking "VIOLENTLY" to the point I though the vehicle was going to "Roll Over". I had to slow down, switch from the center lane of a three lane highway crossing over the outside lane then onto the shoulder of the Highway, get the speed down from 70 to 50 mph before the "Violen

When speaking with a service center for Jeep I was told this is a "KNOWN ISSUE" with the 2021 Jeep Wrangler but there is no recall for the vehicle year 2021 BUT there were for other vehicle years, which I find UNBELEIVABLE!!!! As a retired Police Officer I will tell you this is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY OR SOMEONE WILL GET KILLED IN A CRASH!!!Read more

NHTSA Recall # 23V-487 Manufacturer Recall # 6023G issued July 14, 2023 After repeated phone calls to the Manufacturer and the Mazda Dealership, the recall has not been fixed. I have been told that the parts are not available. As of this date, 16 months after the recall, Mazda has not fixed the problem. I have been told by the Manufacturer and the Mazda Dealership, that parts are not available. Th
... e manufacturer told me that they have no date when parts will be available. I have asked to speak with a Manager at the Manufacturer and was told that there is no one else to talk to except Customer Service. I asked for a contact at the Corporate level that I could send an email to, and was told that there was no email address available. They have suggested that I get it fixed at my own cost and submit a claim that may or may not be reimbursed. I consider the distorted rear view camera picture to be a safety hazard when backing up. I believe that 16 months should be plenty of time to fix this problem and that Mazda just does not want to fix a manufacturing problem on a 8 year old car.Read more

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Vehicle was manufactured from the factory with defective frame/left upper coil spring mount causing the coil spring to move off it's locking perch making the coil spring unsecured to the vehicle frame. Yes, the vehicle available for inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk
... ? The defective coil spring mount allows the unsecured coil spring to move during travel with the potential of becoming dislodged from the vehicle which would cause complete suspension failure and the potential of loss of control of vehicle. This is especially true when towing. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? - Yes, the issue has been confirmed by the dealership and area engineer of Ram/Stellantis. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? - Yes, this have been inspected and confirmed by the dealership, area rep and area engineer of Ram/Stellantis. (See attached work orders) Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? - There were no warning lamps or messages, the very first symptom was just a squeaky spring type noise when driven off the lot after purchasing. That squeak intermittently continued until the squeak became a clunk and a metal on metal type noise and the vehicle didn't feel like it had equal suspension from left to right side of the vehicle. The dealership and area engineer for Ram/Stellantis stated the vehicle has a defective frame/coil mount, vehicle should not be driven on the highway, the vehicle should be repurchased by automaker and parted out/destroyed. This case has been going on for seven months, Ram/Stellantis has been stalling and unwilling thus far to repurchase the vehicle and take ownership of the defective manufactured vehicle.Read more

I called Kia roadside assistance, and was told I needed to have the car towed to a dealership. The tow truck driver backed the car into the space they indicated at the dealership, and it started to roll forward as it was apparently in neutral. When driving at highway speeds (generally around 50 to 80 mph), the steering wheel has a "sticky" feeling when trying to maintain a straight line. Making minor adjustments with the steering wheel requires excessive force to correct minor lane adjustments. This, in turn, creates a very unpleasant and unsafe driving condition as it feels like you are constantly fighting the steering wheel, just to m
... aintain the center of your lane. Driving long periods like this also causes the driver to some what "fight" against the issue causing fatigue in the drivers hands, wrists, and arms. The larger concern is if this issue continues, or gets worse, this could easily lead to an increased risk of loss of control of the vehicle and/or crash. This seems related to a similar recall just issued by Honda for 1.7 million vehicles (including Civics) for 2022 - 2025 models by NHTSA.Read more

My son has bruises and scratches from trying to get out and now is terrified to wear a seatbelt. There is something wrong with the mechanism for the seatbelt that does not allow it release. My fuel pump has been failing multiple times over the last 4 months. It has left me stranded in the middle of intersections, freeways, and highways on multiple occasions that has cause back up traffic and areas of the road completely closed until I can move my car. I have had this car diagnosed twice with a certified mechanic shop and a master tech with these issues and it is confirmed both times
... that I need a new fuel pump. When contacted Alfa Romeo/ Mike Ward dealership for review, diagnostic scans, and part replacement they told me it could be a couple of weeks until my car can even be looked at. Both my shop and the dealership have told me that this part is on back order with no ETA and no possible way of getting that part so my car can be functional. These issues first appeared when I would accelerate from a complete stop and it would take a few seconds for my car to begin moving. This slowly progressed into my check engine light, auto start/ stop error light, electric throttle error light, and front crash detection light have all turned on and remained on for about 2 months until the car began dying in the middle of the street. This had come to be so servers that the car is now no longer drivable and each time it is driven it dies within a few minutes of driving.Again since there is no ETA there is no way for me to fix my car, this is my only mode of transportation and it has left me ain multiple dangerous situations and now with no transportation now that Alfa Romeo is refusing to make the parts needed for repair.Read more

The PTU on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee failed and was replaced. The attached documents were sent to Stellantis as a “reimbursement request”, was denied per the attached 10/17 email from Jeep Customer Care. As evidenced by numerous online complaints as well as NHTSA Recalls and class action lawsuits, replacement of the PTU was the result of a faulty design and safety concerns. The Stellantis refu

No warning lights have come on and the car is braking on its own. I try to push the gas and it doesn't want to go. The car has around 42k miles on it. I took it to tom bush mini last week, the said the front axle was leaking some fluid, they ordererd the axle, changed all brake pads, changed the brake fluid and said it was good to go, cost about $2300. Got the car back, doing the same thing.
... Now they said all calipers need to be replaced and the hydro unit dsc needs to be replaced which will cost around $6400 and they can't get the hyro unit dsc or 2 months. If this was the problem why didn't they know last week? It doesn't seem like the car has enough miles to have such a big issues and no part for 2 months. I don't know what to do.Read more
