Several times my vehicle would randomly brake abruptly (to a screeching halt) due to a malfunction in detecting cars/objects around me. Luckily I managed to not crash or have other vehicles crash into my car from behind, but it scared me. I've always wondered what the issue was, and was never able to get it resolved because I didn't have proof of the abrupt stops. Fast forward to May 2024 I received a letter in the mail for a recall on the fuel pump module. I think this might have something to also do with not being able to start my car three times within one year... I ended up replacing multiple batteries and cleansing the fuel tank thinking that was the issue and I have been mobile since then. I have contacted Curry Honda in Georgia multiple times to get the recall resolved. 8 months since I received the recall notice, and the issue is still unresolved. Please help. I rely on this vehicle to get to work, and I am still paying on this car. I am concerned of the safety issue.Read more

As I entered the parking lot I disengaged FSD by taking over the steering wheel. When it can to navigating into the parking spot I gently push the accelerator and the pedal disappeared from under neath my foot as the car accelerated forward hitting the car to my right. This issue puts children's safety at risk and should also be covered however all we got from the dealer was an offer of a discount. This is a known issue with this year make and model that dodge is profiting off of because it is a safety issue. They should recall the vehicle for this since children could be at risk of ejection during a crash. The f16 fuse in the engine bay that connects power to multiple exterior lights as well as the abs brake system melts and melts part of the fuse tray. This is the same thing that happens with the vw Tiguan in campaign am97. Look into am97 as this can ruin your abs brake system. This should be recalled and fixed. ... el and the driver’s neck colliding with the seat. Furthermore, the driver’s seat shifted from its normal position to a horizontal one, making it impossible for the driver to control the car. After two complete spins of the car, it crashed again into the highway barrier from the rear. The failure of the airbag to deploy resulted in severe bruising and pain in the driver’s head, neck, and back. Despite the driver being an athlete with a strong physique, this led to a minimum of one month of being bedridden and unable to work. Additionally, despite undergoing physiotherapy, pain remains in the head and neck area. The car was declared a total loss and could not be repaired after the crash. Do you not think that if the airbag, which is designed for the driver’s safety, does not deploy in such situations, then when will it deploy? If the driver’s seat, in such situations, bends and turns horizontal, depriving the driver of control over the car, how can one drive safely? Aren’t these instances indicative of a malfunction in the vehicle’s safety system? Does this not raise questions about the safety standards and build quality of a brand like Nissan, which is an international company? If the airbags or other safety systems fail to operate in emergency situations, this could jeopardize people’s lives. This car has been amazing and I am the original owner. I am troubled now though seeing the number of people online (see Acura forums) having this issue as their TSX's age. There is also another NHTSA complaint with this exact same issue, and there have been two Acura TSBs regarding this already (see 09-030 and 09-016). As thousands of TSXs age along with the apparent "glue" holding this piece on the car, motorists across the nation are at risk of this flying projectile. ... h oncoming traffic driving around us, stalled on the freeway with cars whizzing by us at 70+ MPH blocking the fast lane, blocking congested one lane roads with no recourse for drivers behinds to get around us, etc. This feature stops the engine but periodically does not allow it to turn back on. With the engine stopped by this feature, but not shifted to park/ neutral, pressing the ignition start/ stop button does nothing. Shifting to park, and pressing the ignition start/stop button significantly delays removing the road hazard now created by the vehicle’s now dangerous location. To further complicate the matter, the engine starting has, on many occasions, taken multiple minutes to start, endangering myself, my wife, my four children, and other family / friends on too many occasions to count. My local dealership recommended replacing the vehicles battery, even though I had no other battery related problems. I did, in fact, follow that recommendation, only to have the same problem persist. I have encouraged my wife to disengage this feature proceeding forward, but the feature automatically resets itself everyone the ignition is started. This becomes problematic if the feature is forgotten to be turned off or, due to placement of the features button, the feature is inadvertently re-engaged.Read more

When driving with my speed control set at 35 to 45 mph, I will sporadically and without warning get a forward collision warning, and the car brakes. Because it is sporadic one, the dealer was not able to reproduce the problem. However, the dealer did acknowledge that I had a problem, but said there was nothing more they could do. The danger is that if someone is following you closely behind and all of a sudden you get this forward collision warning that breaks the car, the car behind has to break suddenly in order to avoid a rear end collision. I have researched online and find that there are other owners of this same car that have had the same problem. I found only one instance where Kia accepted the videos as evidence of the problem, and apparently gave the dealer instructions that when accomplished, seem to have fixed the problem. Tailgate came open while driving and I lost items in the truck bed.

Vehicle was not shifting smoothly when driving it. This had been an ongoing issue but was getting worse, especially in low gears. No lights or identification. I brought it to the dealership and they identified that I needed to have the torque convertor replaced. They did a transmission overhaul. Identified there were still issues occurring and shifting was not smooth. Installed new pistons,
... pump, shaft. Overhauled the automatic transmission assembly. There were identified Ford TSBs for these issues. They identified debris in transmission fluid, removed transmission, flushed and rebuilt. My vehicle was in service for two months, so not sure exactly when it was resolved but I do know when it was dropped off. The service department kept me updated and I had a loaner, but this occurred over the holiday season.Read more
