I was traveling [XXX] near Liverpool, PA at 60mph, the truck flashed a quick code on the dash and then suddenly downshifted from 6th gear to 1st almost spinning the truck as the rear wheels locked up momentarily. It would not upshift past 3rd gear and had to travel 35 miles home like that. I called my local Ford dealer (Parsons) and they said bring the truck in for diagnostic testing, so I did. Me
... anwhile I searched the internet to see if others had the issue. Turns out they did, BUT my 2015 with the 6R80 was NOT in the recall notice. Ford said it was the lead frame and needed to be replaced. IF it was a known problem, why not inform owners of these trucks. That said, Ford wanted $1500 to fix it, BUT they did not have the part. So I drove the truck (never with my family in it ever again) after I cleared the code with my reader...again traveling [XXX] @ 75mph it downshifted IN TRAFFIC. Luckily I was in the right lane and made a quick move to the shoulder to avoid being run over. In Carlisle, PA there are hundreds of trucking companies and warehouses, so the truck traffic is very heavy. That was it. I searched out the part, paid for it myself and had a Ford mechanic that does work on the side fix the truck. I have been a loyal Ford guy for over 30 years...I reached out to Ford via telephone, chat and even Facebook. All they say is it is NOT under any recall. Hard to swallow that when I am driving a $75K truck THEY built and they will NOT stand behind a $2K fix. Well goodbye Ford, as a business owner for over 25 years. If I make an error I fix it NO MATTER what. I gave Ford the opportunity to stand behind truck and they did...JUST FAR behind it and passed me as I sit on the shoulder of the road. 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro Water has been leaking through the rear air-pressure vents for quite some time. I have had a moldy/musty smell in the truck after a good rain for at least 6 months. When we got the truck home, we started looking up the problem on Tacoma forums and YouTube and finally discovered it was the air vents behind the rear seat. I pulled the plastic molding back and there was tons on mold. I took it back to the dealership for repair. The dealership has now said they will replace the air vents but will not remediate the mold. While driving on the highway, the engine overheating light came on, the car seemed to be losing power, and I pulled over and was then towed to the dealership. My safety was put at risk as I could have been hit as the car was slowing down in fast traffic; it also was extremely cold (about 5 degrees F) while I waited for the tow truck. ... o a large puddle beneath the car. The dealership reported that the aluminum coolant line had rubbed against the transmission cooler and had broken through, causing a loss of fluid. The dealership replaced the coolant line and also stated that they cut an extra piece of aluminum and wrapped it around the coolant line to reinforce that line and stop it from rubbing through by rubbing against the transmission cooler. I stated that this seemed like a design defect but the dealership responded that these things just happen. I note that there appears to be a similar recall in 2022 Durango Hellcats for the coolant line being subjected to abrasion from rubbing on the serpentine belt. The dealership did not return the parts to me; I do not know whether they provided them to the manufacturer for inspection.Read more

I have been forced to lay an amount of $745 on this car every month and it’s draining me out financially and mentally. the worst part is since this is electric car , and you run out of battery power then it suddenly halts, if you are on high speed road on freeway no doubt you get hit by the car behind you and you die. I am not willing to put my life and my family’s life on danger when I drive this car anymore. Kia is not willing to buyback the car, I have paid a very high price for this and my car value has come down, leaving me a sum of more than around $10000 difference when I try to sell it back to Kia. This is injustice given that my life is in danger, I might face this experience again when Kia ev6 shuts on the power while I am on road, and I will get hit bythe car behind me and die. Started car prior to leaving house. When entering car, placed car into run mode. Released parking brake and placed into drive. Service 4WD light came on with. When pulling out of driveway, I made a left turn which the car made a clunk noise in the front end. When driving a little further I topped the hill only doing about 15 mph. Once accelerating down the hill the car shifted and made a loud grin
... ding noise. This prevented the car from traveling any faster. This also resulted in a needed emergency pull over on back road with no shoulder. Car was then parked, turned off for about 2 minutes in traffic. At that point car was restarted with no Service light. I began to accelerate and noise went away. Further driving brought light back on and off but no noise at this time. I have a concern this could happen at highway speeds resulting in a unessarcery car accident. There seems to be a high fail rate with these cars and the PTU. I would highly recommend extending the safety recall to all Jeeps with this brand PTU.Read more

Our vehicle was services as advised and stated using the appropriate Synthetic oil. I was informed that they would be breaking down my engine to see where it went wrong as there were no codes read. They also stated I had to pay for the engine breakdown $200 per hour and it would most likely take 8 hours (According to Kia). Now, I've gone on many online forum and many people have experienced this problem with their 2020 Kia Tellurides all under 75,000.00 miles. I contacted Kia Corporate as well but that got me nowhere. I don't understand how these vehicles don't have a recall as of yet for these seized engines. I also don't understand how following the oil recommendations for oil changes is suddenly considered "Lack of service". No one is willing to work with me and suddenly it's my fault that I bought a faulty vehicle.
