I am filing this complaint because Jeep/Chrysler has denied my reimbursement request for a repair directly related to Recall 94B, issued in November 2024, covering the ABS module on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Prior to the recall, in October 2024, I experienced failure of the ABS module and paid out-of-pocket to have the part repaired at a reputable independent repair shop. After the recall was
... issued, I submitted a reimbursement request with all supporting documentation, including the repair invoice and receipt, showing that the repair addressed the exact defect covered by the recall. Despite this, Jeep/Chrysler has refused reimbursement solely on the grounds that the repair was not performed at an authorized Jeep dealership. I believe this violates federal law under the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act (49 U.S.C. § 30120) and the related regulation (49 CFR § 573.13), which require manufacturers to reimburse owners for pre-notification repairs addressing the defect, regardless of where the repairs were performed, as long as proper documentation is provided. I am requesting NHTSA’s assistance in ensuring Jeep/Chrysler complies with its federal reimbursement obligations and processes my valid claim. Jeep Wranglers 2013 has a ABS Module issue that Mopar is not having this part avaialble for replacement. There has been years of backorder on this module and everywhere you go they tell us the same. ... ights going out at the 50k - 70k mile mark. Currently it is impossible to even find stock of new headlight assemblies because of the number of vehicles that have had this issue. This should be a recall due to a defective headlight assembly, not a cost to the consumer. I've driven several vehicles past the 200k mile mark and I have never had to have a headlight assembly replaced, and especially not after only 68k miles. It would be unusual to have to replace a headlight at that many miles, let alone an LED strip, which should essentially last the life of the vehicle. There is a group considering bringing a class-action lawsuit against VW for the faulty electrical systems in the 2021 Atlas, so I hope this gets addressed quickly.Read more

They told me the lifter had gone bad when I sped up quickly, and the camshaft was damaged. Further research by me has discovered a lot of vehicles have this same issue due to the active fuel management system. I chose not to pay Chevrolet $7000 to fix the engine, and currently have it in a private shop being repaired. A less experienced driver may have slammed on the brakes or swerved and caused a major accident. Hello, This is [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] . This vehicle has a shorted steer sensor part#8t4z-3f818-a. If traction control button is not turned off at start up, the vehicle will slam on the brakes and jurk the steering wheel while going around a curve. I took the car to Crossroads Ford for diagnosis. They inspected and stated it needed the steering angle sensor. I payed them $377.90 for the part to be
... ordered on 3/20/25. The part was suppose to be there 4/1/25. They never called, I called they stated it was still on order. Today I called again 4/29/25 and asked the parts manager where the part is. He stated it was Discontinued Product from ford and is not available. This is a required part for the vehicle to perform safely, I have checked all other means of order online all are discontinued. Please advise why Ford is being allowed to discontinue production and availability for part#8t4z-3f818-a.
