After four years of owning this vehicle purchased new, the passenger side seatbelt warning light came on the dash. It indicated the seatbelt was not buckled while no one was sitting in the passenger seat. When buckled the light went out. Brought it to the attention of Nissan, Service every year when they would clear the code and it would be good for a month or two, and the light would come back on
... like before. Last month on May 9, I brought the vehicle in again and asked for a thorough assessment. Nissan service said to make the light go out they would have to replace two passenger side occupancy sensors, totaling $1800 parts and labor. They did not have the parts on hand, I left with the vehicle only to find out that the intermittent seatbelt light that would go out when buckled, stayed on continuous now. Also noticed the illuminated airbag light stating the airbag was off. And that was also on at all times whether someone was in the passenger seat or not. When purchasing the vehicle new we also purchased a gold preferred extended warranty, that I believed would cover these parts. But Nissan, consumer affair said the the warranty will not cover those items. After a month of trying to get Nissan, service and consumer affairs to work with me, still no help. Searching online I found Nissan, has had numerous issues and even some recalls with occupancy sensors in the seats of many vehicles. [XXX], the vehicle was delivered to Crain KIA dealership located in Conway, Arkansas, due to failure of engine to start (engine would turn over but not run). I scheduled a service appointment for May 20th at 0930, for the car to be evaluated/troubleshot. While at the KIA dealership service desk, I discussed KIA SAFETY RECALL SC336, and that my VIN# was effected by the recall (verified by speakin
... g with KIA Customer Care representative) and by using NHTSA's VIN/Recall search engine. At that time, I disclosed that the car was a SALVAGE TITLE vehicle, but was restored, looked nearly brand new and was otherwise operational prior to the engine "no start" condition (4 months of ownership). The service team at the dealership confirmed the SALVAGE TITLE via "Carfax", however they noted that KIA's internal VIN/TITLE database DID NOT REFLECT the car as salvaged. Crain Kia dealership then decided to submit the car for KIA's SAFETY RECALL inspection and possibly warranty work since the vehicle has not exceeded the 5yr/60,000 mile limited basic warranty. Unfortunately, the dealership did not open a "tech-line case' until approximately 15 days later. Tech-line communication between the service technician and KIA's engineering/recall rep, directed the dealership to perform an engine wet/dry compression test (due to deficient piston oil-rings). On June 5th, Crain KIA notified me that the resulting 'LOW" compression test results indicated that the piston rings were faulty, and that the engine would need to be replaced. Additionally, they told me that the vehicle would NOT BE ELIGIBLE for factory warranty due to the SALVAGE TITLE and that I would be responsible for engine change costs. Moreover, the dealership's service team charged me for the cost of the compression testing. I have thoroughly reviewed the KIA recall SC336 documentation as well as NHTSA's 25V-099 bulletin and verified that neither notices proclaim, exclude or deny coverage to salvage title vehicles. I am reporting a serious engine failure in my 2023 GMC Yukon XL (5.3L Ecotec3 V8) at approximately 68,775 miles. The engine began to run rough with a loud chatter noise, and both the check engine light and traction control light activated. Diagnostic tests at the dealer (F.C. Kerbeck GMC) confirmed a P0300 random misfire code and revealed that the lifter on cylinder #5 had collapsed, causing damag
... e to the camshaft lobe. The repair required removing the cylinder head and replacing the lifter, camshaft, pushrods, valves, and associated gaskets and seals. Although I was told this was covered as a ‘goodwill repair’ by GM, I was still charged $3,450 for miscellaneous charges. I find this highly concerning and question whether these charges are consistent with GM’s stated goodwill or warranty policies. In my opinion, a known lifter design flaw requiring such an extensive repair should not result in out-of-pocket costs for the vehicle owner. This failure resulted in a severe misfire and significant performance issues that I believe raise serious safety concerns, including the potential for sudden loss of power while driving. I am submitting this report to NHTSA to ensure this issue is documented and to request that it be included in any broader investigation into GM lifter system failures. Hydrologic control and abs unit failed. Ford addressed the issue but did NOT include ever vin that was affected. Almost got into an accident and crashed when my brakes completely failed from a defective part. The problem has been confirmed by a independent service, no warning light or messages. ... n Jacksonville Florida when out of nowhere I could feel the gas not taking. I then got a flashing message across my dashboard several times that said "Engine Stalled" . Imagine the fear in the middle of the highway and essentially having no gas power. Fortunately, since I was leaving at noon, it was not rush hour and fortunately this occurred right before an exit. I was able to remain calm and not panic and get over two lanes in time to pull off to an exit ramp all the while de-accelerating until I landed in the grass off the exit ramp. I cross [XXX] every day for work and cars losing power going 75 mph on [XXX] is terrifying and could easily lead to a wreck and in the most unfortunate incidents on that bridge; cars hit have gone over the side. Again, second time now they are supposedly replacing the fuel pump. How can two be bad? This is so dangerous for someone to be put in this situation. Starting in October 2020, my 2019 Jaguar F-Type experienced persistent electrical and fuel injector system failures affecting cylinders 1 and 5, resulting in multiple engine misfires and reduced engine performance. These defects caused the vehicle to run roughly and unpredictably, creating a safety risk by compromising engine power and potentially causing loss of control, especially during startup and acceleration. Warning lights and engine fault codes were present throughout the issue. Jaguar dealerships confirmed the problem multiple times through diagnostic testing and extensive inspections, including wiring tests, fuel system checks, and control module evaluations. Despite repeated repairs, including connector reseating and injector replacements during the powertrain warranty period, the defect was never permanently fixed. The vehicle was out of service for over 6 months from August 2021 to April 2022 due to attempts to resolve the problem. After the warranty expired, the same symptoms and fault codes recurred. The dealer diagnosed that the engine must be completely replaced due to persistent injector circuit failures, with an estimated repair cost of $33,000. There is a C,D,F issue and valve separator parts that are the initial issue that can cause major issues for me and many others. A Ford technician advised me that TSBs exist and made me aware that my cost could be $199 (diagnostics), $1500 (parts), and $4400 or more (transmission repair or replacement).

Equipment failures include a non-functional center awning, persistent sewer odor (suggesting a failed ventilation system), and malfunctioning A/C and heating units. Despite multiple inspections and documented findings from Grand Design–approved technicians, the manufacturer has offered only limited, pre-approved repairs that fail to address root causes. These problems severely impact the safety and habitability of the RV, which is used as a full-time residence. The manufacturer has declined a full inspection, replacement, or buyback. No warning lamps appeared, but symptoms began shortly after purchase and have worsened. The RV remains available for inspection.
