Per the manufacturer, the car requires an oil change every 10,000 miles. However, the engine has a known defect to the manufacturer so that the car only makes it to about 6000 miles before you have to do an oil change. And sometimes the car doesn’t alert you. So your engine could possibly burn up and catch fire. Also, it’s a known issue to them that the back up camera malfunctions suddenly. S

This vehicle was purchased used with 10,000 miles. Since purchase we have been experience with the battery and electrical system not functioning properly. The car shuts down and it is necessary for us to have USAA or AAA start it, they have told us there is an electrical system problem. The car was

The car is driven a few miles daily and has shut down again. I have contacted Nissan and they said they would get back to me to resolve this problem. I contacted them on 6/20/25 and they have not gotten back to me. The car has shut down at least a dozen times requiring USAA or AAA roadside assistance, both say there is an electrical problem.Read more

The MGU of the 2021 Ram Laramie (e-torque) is not functioning properly and hampers the safety of the vehicle. The MGU, which controls the alternator, will not charge the battery beyond 13.0/13.2 volts during driving. The air conditioning system in my vehicle failed in April 2025. My dealership service department diagnosed the problem as a refrigerant leak requiring the compressor to be replaced. I had the $2400 repair made replacing both the compressor, condenser and the a/c system was charged. 2 months later, I am having the same issue again - failure of the a/c system due to a refrigerant leak requiring the

Though this is the precise year, make, model and distinct problem that I am experiencing, my specific VIN has not been included on the recall. We are in the height of summer, currently experiencing temperature that feel like 104-107 degrees in East Tennessee thus is has become a safety issue for myself, 4 children and husband to travel in our primary/only family vehicle. I find it unbelievable that a vehicle of this caliber has a basic (air conditioning) system failure after 6 years; however, it is incomprehensible to spend $2400, have it repaired, know there is a recall for the precise vehicle and concern, have it fail again and be expected to spend another $2400 because my specific VIN is not included. It is simply preposterous. I am requesting that my specific VIN be included on this recall, please.Read more

Vehicle: 2025 Ram 1500 RHO (base trim) VIN: [XXX] Build Date: [XXX] Purchase Date: [XXX] Mileage at first occurrence: ≈ 40 miles (issue began immediately after delivery) Mileage now: [insert current mileage] Problem Description The instrument cluster (IPC) repeatedly reboots while driving or upon each key cycle. Every restart forces the odometer to reset and display 40 miles, erasing the
... accurate accumulated mileage. Simultaneously, the vehicle fails to retain any infotainment or vehicle-settings data (radio presets, climate preferences, drive modes, seat/mirror memory). This occurs 100 % of the time with every ignition cycle and has happened on every drive since purchase. Safety Concern A rebooting cluster distracts the driver, removes access to critical information (speedometer, warning lights), and falsifies odometer readings—potentially masking future maintenance intervals and impairing resale/title accuracy. The loss of settings can also disable previously selected safety aids (e.g., adaptive cruise presets, lane-keep parameters) without the driver’s knowledge. Attempts to Resolve Hard battery reset performed (negative-terminal disconnect, 30 min). Issue returned on first restart. Awaiting dealer appointment; preliminary research indicates similar complaints among early-production 2025 RHO vehicles and a possible IPC/BCM firmware defect. No official recall or TSB acknowledged for my VIN to date. Frequency Every ignition cycle; cluster reboot typically occurs within 30 seconds of start-up or during the first two minutes of driving. Infotainment/vehicle settings never save between cycles. Events & Dates [XXX]: Vehicle delivered; first reboot observed while exiting dealership lot. 06/29/2025–present: Issue persists on every drive. I just discovered my IPC module is faulty and has been faulty. My vehicle has been putting itself into park while driving multiple times now in the little over 2 years I’ve had it. Biggest issue is my vehicle causing me near miss traffic
... accidents. The dealership it was purchased from, certified. Hid service history reports at the sale. Also returned this vehicle multiple times without acknowledging the issue or even telling me they didn’t repair the issue. Last time it was picked up from Matt Bowers Jeep in Baton Rouge within 30 mins the issue was happening and more (rpms shooting up and Jeep taking off without giving it gas). I went public and another dealership reached out to help me. Within a few hours they noted that the vast majority of my modules weren’t updated, some bad and the IPC module keeps failing. They’re working with Stellantis trying to troubleshoot the issue. This has never been made known by Matt Bowers and matches the original service records hidden from day one. I cant get my vehicle back while the IPC module is faulty because it’s a serious safety hazard. Matt Bowers has put me back I to This vehicle multiple times knowing it was a hazard and I even Stated I felt unsafe in this Jeep. This is a serious safety hazard!!! Randomly, and without warning, the instruments, gauges, and displays will switch into a language I do not speak or understand (Italian). ... (fcw) lamp turns on with no way to disable, units of measurement including speed, temperature, etc. all change, and many other random settings change as well. ***This is clearly a dangerous situation because of all the functions and gauges that change, and the fact it is difficult if not impossible to recover from this due to the language of the setting menus, and the complexity of discovering and navigating through all these changes. I have taken it to the dealer twice, and they say there is nothing they can do and to wait for a possible software update, but none has come and it has been over a year. When this happens, even if one is able to wade through all the settings menus and change setting back, some items cannot be reset (like the FCA off lamp). According to various Jeep owner forums, some dealers have been able to reset something and temporarily correct the issue, but they charge for this service, and the issue returns randomly again. Here is an example forum discussion, indicating many if not all vehicles are affected: [XXX] Many people on the forum believe this issue did not start until a software update a year or so ago. This is a well known and widespread problem, and there is even a DOT Bulletin on the issue: dot.report Bulletins Because this is dangerous (for settings/gauges/units to no longer be useful while driving), and it occurs randomly, I strongly believe this issue should be a manufacturer recall. Nissan states to not use these types of chargers. I just received my third or fourth recall notice from them stating that they are working on it and they keep pushing the date back. Estimated date now is third quarte
... r of 2025. This issue severely limits how I can use my vehicle, which is used primarily to commute to work. My commute is 70 miles and I cannot make it back and forth on a full charge so I frequently need to fast charge the vehicle.Read more

I brought in my vehicle for regular service (I.e., oil change) on June 2nd and all was well though i did get my rear brakes done. By June 19th, my check engine light came in and when I brought in my vehicle later that same morning, I was informed coolant had leaked into the engine, now requiring an entire engine replacement which I was told would cost 8500. I have since learned this is a fairly co

Turned on ignition and wipers and headlights turned on with no control, car ignition beeped constantly, all dash lights illuminated, all gauges stopped working (speedometer, fuel, tachometer, temperature) and there was a clicking noise on the transmission. Had to drive home hoping my electrical system wouldn’t shut down while driving home. Narrowed down to faulty TIPM.

Brand new Rogue at 400 miles(no previous owner) CVT malfunction due to incorrect grounding of transmission on mount. Resistance is not good and causes a draining battery… flickering lights, loss of power steering and slipping of gears. Mount is neither grounded and is experiencing a high pressurized leak. Dealership has noted leak at 20K and has considered services from the past at 46K. They not

Self serviced transmission fluid at 43k and have found very black burnt transmission fluid. No more road side assistance due to needed jump starts… Nissan claims it is the battery but this is 5th battery to be tested non-defective and new LIFEPO4 battery is saving lives but dealership refused to work on my car further until they see the OEM battery even if I use the original they want a new battery which will ultimately leave me stranded or loss of control unless driving over 100MPH in case of emergency? I have proof and images alongside a real forensic case. Dealership may be tampering with vehicle or vehicle did not pass inspection… electrical issues were prominent at first 1K but accused of “phantum burst” or leaving lights on… parasitic draw directly from alternator mount and transmission fluid at a high pressurized leak. Build quality looks like it was squeezed an good half inch to the right and components are overlapped when originally they weren’t. A/C lines poor seal. Vacuum leak in engine filter compartment resulting in undesirable dirt debris. Coolant becoming very brown more often… and components in the car not shutting off including stereo and settings in the dash. Casa has claimed to fix the “no-start condition” during a recall campaign but did not… requested 900 dollars for fluid change and new battery before looking at leak… flagstaff Nissan did miracles but did not note shortRead more

An error code (RCM_a056) will intermittently come up and say there is a fault with the front passenger safety restraint system. It will turn on for a car ride and stay off for a few days and come back randomly. When I researched this code, I found that this is a known issue with 2018 Tesla Model 3's. Apparently there was a flaw in the airbag system which causes this safety concern. I contacted a T
... esla service center and they said it would cost $300 just to check it out and another one said +$1000 to "fix". I called their customer service line explained that this should be covered for free since it is not due to "normal wear" but rather should be a safety recall. I also explained this to the service techs but they just said they can't do anything. If I would have been involved in an accident, my wife could have died because of this safety flaw. The vehicle is still under warranty until 120,000 miles. Thank you for your consideration on this matter.Read more
