It appears from Ford’s records that my vehicle had its cam phasers replaced twice in 2021. And they did a redesign of the part, but they didn’t put the redesign part on my vehicle and it is now failing again. The repair cost at a minimum of $3500. If I don’t fix it, all the mechanics say it will affect my timing and eventually my engine will be destroyed. Yep Ford tries to say it is only a noise issue and they didn’t issue a recall. If you look on any Ford F150 form, this is a well-known well documented issue and probably should be a class action lawsuit at this point.Read more

Purchased a 2025 RAM 1500 TUNGSTEN on [XXX]. Within a week of purchase, the blind spot monitors, forward collision monitors, and the emergency braking all quick working. The first attempt to fix was replacing wiring. This stopped it for a week before they were back on. Goes back into shop and replace and fully charge batteries and again it lasted about a week. After a trip to Florida in April it had to go in to shop again for the same issues. This time is spent 7 weeks in the shop, replaced multiple modules and other trial and error pieces before it was "fixed" again. Got vehicle back in June and it ran good until last week(end of August). Now every light on my dash is on. None of the safety features are working(airbags, emergency braking, front/rear monitors, traction control, 4x4 system, air ride suspension, etc...). Even the power steering has gone out this time. So now it is back in the shop for the 8th total time in 9 months of ownership. This will be the 4th or 5th star case thats been opened on it and I have completely lost faith in the vehicles ability to be fixed and even more so lost on the ability for RAM(Stellantis and Customer Care) to be able to fix it at all. On August 8, 2025, between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., while driving on Mopac (Loop 1), a heavily traveled highway in Austin, Texas, the vehicle abruptly experienced an overheating issue without any prior warning. During the incident, I encountered difficulty releasing my seatbelt, briefly confining myself inside. The sudden breakdown caused me severe distress, leading to a panic and an asthma attack. Although I did not seek medical attention, the physical and emotional consequences were substantial. Since the breakdown, the vehicle has remained completely undrivable and incapable of restarting. On 05/02/2024, I had the vehicle serviced for this specific issue. The dealer replaced the transmission shifter and control assembly at my expense, refusing to cover it under the powertrain warranty. The manufacturer (General Motors) is aware of this widespread defect and has issued Technical Service Bulletins (TSB #MC-10199243-9999) about it, yet they fail to treat it as the serious safety issue it is. Radio will constantly reset as well as the in-dash clock, and the Tire Pressure light will illuminate and flash. I found this appears to be a consistent issue with 2014, 2015, and 2016 Toyota Corolla's on YouTube.
