In June 2025, I bought a new 2025 Ford Expedition King Ranch. While washing my SUV by hand, I discovered a manufacturing defect on the roof—Ford Manufacturing had left exposed welding and rivets. The issue is quite noticeable, with depressions around the rivets and welds so deep they could hold golf balls. More than two dozen of these rivet welds are visible and exposed. I contacted my local dea
... lership in Sioux Falls, SD to file a warranty claim, but it was denied. During this process, the dealership informed me that their lot was filled with Expeditions and Lincoln Navigators showing the same problem, indicating that it's a widespread concern among all dealers. After my claim was denied, I reached out to Ford's nationwide customer support at [XXX] and was given case number CXh-XXX. After two conversations, it became clear that Ford's organization was not effectively communicating internally. My dealership thanked me for bringing the issue to Ford Corporate, as resolving it is financially important to them. Sioux Falls Ford contacted the local Ford Factory Representative, but no solution has been provided so far. The presence of these divots allows water to accumulate in the crevices, potentially leading to severe corrosion in southern regions exposed to salty ocean air. In northern areas, freezing and thawing cycles may cause further structural Integrity deterioration, both overtimes causing catastrophic failure. At no time did Ford disclose these defects to their dealership network, and had it been, proper disclaimers would have been required on vehicle window stickers. Nor was I informed about the exposed rivets, welds, or dents on the roof prior to purchase. Ford Manufacturing failed to disclose material information regarding this issue. Ignorance is not an excuse—Ford Manufacturing misled me by failing to reveal the roof defect. The manufacturer date of my Ford Expedition was May of 2025. See attached pictures. HELP!! The dashboard displays warnings for nearly every safety-related system, and the vehicle disables these features without warning. **Detailed Description of the Problem:** Whenever I start my vehicle, multiple error messages are displayed related to the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Road Departure Mitigation, Auto Headlights, and other safety features. These warnings appear together and persist even after restarting the vehicle. Apparently, this issue is widespread among 2018–2020 Honda Odyssey owners, with many reporting the same cluster of system failures. The problem appears to be related to a malfunction in the vehicle’s electrical system, sensors, or control modules. In my case, the failures occur without any external damage, weather event, or driver action that would explain the sudden loss of safety functionality. When these systems fail, the vehicle disables critical safety features such as automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and automatic headlights. This creates a significant safety risk, especially at highway speeds or in low‑visibility conditions. **Frequency:** The issue occurs whenever the vehicle is started, affecting my driving everyday.Read more

The vehicle is subject to two active safety recalls issued by the manufacturer, including a recall related to the rear backup camera system. The recall has been open for several months, and no estimated repair timeline has been provided by the manufacturer or dealer. I have contacted the dealer/manufacturer and was informed that no remedy is currently available. This vehicle is used regularly, increasing concern about continued operation with unresolved safety defects. The vehicle remains in service with known safety defects and no corrective action offered. My Jeep Wrangler 4xe underwent Safety Recall 68C, which included high-voltage battery replacement and associated electrical system work. The vehicle was held at the Jeep dealership for approximately one month for completion of this recall. After being notified that Recall 68C was completed, I picked up the vehicle. Immediately upon pickup, I experienced electrical issues that were not present pri
... or to the recall. Specifically, the passenger-side power running board failed to retract. The service manager accessed the area under the dashboard and restored operation, stating it was likely related to the battery replacement or electrical work performed during the recall. Upon driving the vehicle, I also noticed the steering wheel was not centered when driving straight, and the front end appeared visually misaligned. Less than 24 hours after pickup, while driving at approximately 65 mph on the freeway, the vehicle experienced sudden and violent steering oscillation consistent with death wobble. This required me to immediately pull over for safety. The vehicle had no prior history of death wobble, steering instability, or electrical running board issues before Recall 68C was performed. Due to the severity of the condition, the vehicle was towed back to the Jeep dealership for further inspection.Read more

Shortly after purchasing this used vehicle from CarMax, the vehicle began experiencing serious mechanical failures involving the engine/emissions system, braking system, and suspension. The vehicle displayed a check engine warning light, and the selling dealer, CarMax Schaumburg, confirmed issues requiring repair, including a faulty oxygen sensor, brake-related repairs, and a suspension link. The
... vehicle was taken in for service, parts were ordered, and repairs were performed. Despite these repairs, the same issues reoccurred, requiring the vehicle to be returned for additional repair attempts. The problems were therefore reproduced after the initial repair, confirming the existence of unresolved defects. The vehicle was not reliably safe during this period. These failures posed safety risks due to reduced braking reliability, compromised vehicle stability, and engine performance concerns, which could affect drivability and safe operation under normal conditions. The defects were confirmed and serviced by the dealer, as documented through service communications and voicemail messages from CarMax. Warning indicators, including the check engine light, were present prior to repair and prompted service visits. Exact mileage at the time of the incidents is UNKNOWN, as it was not clearly disclosed at purchase. Before the issues were fully and permanently resolved, the vehicle was repossessed, resulting in the loss of the vehicle while unresolved safety and mechanical defects existed. The repossession prevented further inspection or repair by the consumer. The repaired components and service records should be available for inspection through the dealer. No police or insurance inspection occurred in connection with a collision, as the issue involved mechanical and safety defects rather than an accident.Read more

On April 7, 2025, the dealership attempted to sell me a vehicle that was experiencing an engine condition running too lean. I declined that vehicle due to safety concerns. On April 8, 2025, the salesperson contacted me again and stated that a different vehicle had been located that would meet my needs. At that time, I was nine months pregnant and urgently needed a vehicle with third-row seating f
... or my children. The dealership was aware of my condition and urgency. I took delivery of the vehicle that day. Unexpectedly, I went into labor the following day and gave birth shortly after. Because of childbirth and medical recovery, I did not immediately operate the vehicle extensively or discover the safety issues. After being discharged from the hospital, around April 11, 2025, I began using the vehicle and discovered serious mechanical problems that made the vehicle unsafe to operate. The vehicle exhibited engine-related issues and a major suspension defect that affected vehicle stability and safe operation. The vehicle was returned to the dealership, where repairs were performed and parts were ordered, confirming that the defects existed prior to or at the time of delivery. Despite the vehicle being driven a significant distance immediately before sale, the dealership did not perform a basic oil change or standard post-delivery inspection. Operating a vehicle under these conditions raises concerns for engine reliability, overheating, and failure. The suspension defect created risk of loss of control, and the engine condition created risk of drivability issues. These conditions posed a safety risk to the driver and passengers, including a newborn child. The vehicle remains available for inspection if requested.Read more

Since the purchase of my 2022 VW Taos in 2022, there has been a repeated issue of the check engine light coming on at random times. There has been no fix for the issue and it still persists. Problems with the fuel evap system puts the drivers and passengers
... at risk. Being unable to determine an issue with the car and the safety of operating a motor vehicle due to continued negligence by the manufacturer is the opposite of a safe motor vehicle. Additionally, since buying the vehicle there have been repeated issues with the communications module. The module had to be replaced just days after purchasing it. Now, it is not working once again and if there was an emergency, the technology presented when purchasing the car, SOS, information, crash detection, location, etc, is not available to help me. VW presents these as safety features then does nothing to fix their equipment issues that ultimately render these options and functions useless.Read more

While making a left turn at normal turning speed, the steering system became unresponsive. The steering wheel was able to move; however, there was no corresponding movement of the front tires/wheels. The front wheels appeared to remain stuck at approximately a 45-degree left position and did not return toward the straight-ahead position despite steering input. It is also possible that the steering
