When driving at speeds over 45 mph and making turns (eg on high ways) the van will sway and rock. I have installed new shocks, had an alignment, had ball joints and sway bars inspected, and had tires restated. Had I not thought quick enough I would of hit at least 2 people.

Although my VIN was not listed on any data base as a risk of the 10-speed transmission issue, my transmission first faltered while driving on the highway on 26 November 2024 and then again on 9 December 2024. While driving, the transmission instantly downshifted to a lower gear and there was a loss of power, which was a huge safety issue while driving on I-44 at 70 mph. Ford was notified of both i
... nstances via phone call from me and through the Ford App that is linked to my truck. In both occasions, the "Engine" light on the dashboard was illuminated. *Please note that Ford did assist in repairing this issue through the Customer Satisfaction Program.* Although I was still responsible to pay for 55% of the repair amount (total of $6,608.82), Ford paid the remaining 45% and added an Extended Warranty to the truck for 36,000 miles / 36 months. A new transmission was installed on 18 December 2024. My reason for filing this is to add to the data that is being collected with regards to this specific issue. Yes, Ford may assist on a case-by-case basis, but this is still unfortunately being viewed as a "Service Bulletin" instead of a Recall.Read more

Everything working properly and just fine until Monday 3/2/26 when I started the vehicle to go to work, the main radio multimedia screen was black and did not display anything. No sound was playing either along with when I placed the car in reverse, there was not the backup camera display as well. Everything was pitch black. I then proceeded to drive the car to work and then decided to take it to
... the Toyota dealership near my house at the earliest convenience which was today (3/4/26). In the mean time until I brought the car to the dealership, I researched information and videos on how to diagnose it myself and try troubleshooting my self. Also, when car is running, I got a message stating malfunction with AEB/FCW. Tried the fuse route and tried disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 15 minutes and tried holding the main power knob for 30 plus seconds. All of those did not work. I then took into dealership and once I got there, the service technician saw the screen working and then also saw the screen acting up and turned on but had lines in the middle of the screen. The technician had me turn vehicle off and once we turned back on it went back to the black screen. So once I went the route of having them diagnose it, they said they could not duplicate concern that we saw with the lines in the screen etc., therefore the technician gave the vehicle back with the screen not working still until we do have it working with the lines. I was about to leave and then the issue with the screen and lines cam up on the screen and I was able to have the technician look at it and diagnose. That is when advisor came to me and said the radio head is completely not working and cannot be fixed or saved. Repair is $2,769 with labor for a new radio head per the advisor. Car is not under warranty because of how many miles are currently on vehicle so I cannot get this fixed for free under warranty. Would have to be out of pocket and I denied that. Please help me get this fixed.Read more

Powertrain/engine performance (acceleration control): vehicle struggles to accelerate when pressing the gas. Water intrusion: ongoing water intrusion, power tailgate was already replaced due to water erosion, when it rains or snows water gets in
... to vehicle resulting in a musty/moldy smell and driver side mat soaking wet. Yes — the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The loss of acceleration / hesitation / jolting creates a risk of being unable to merge, cross intersections, or accelerate in traffic when needed. The unintended shift from Reverse into Neutral can cause loss of intended vehicle control/movement while reversing (driveway/parking lot risk), increasing collision risk with nearby vehicles, pedestrians, or property. Reverse → Neutral: Reported to dealer multiple times; confirmation varies by visit (intermittent concern) Stellantis Customer Retention states they spoke with the service manager and confirmed the repair history and dealer visits, not necessarily a physical engineer inspection.Read more

My vehicle is experiencing a transmission safety issue that has been diagnosed by the authorized Toyota dealer service center (Toyota of Scranton). During my most recent service visit on 3/2/26, the dealer reported that the transmission is “failing and whining” and recommended full transmission replacement. This condition creates unsafe driving behavior, including abnormal whining noise during
... acceleration and the concern for sudden transmission failure while driving. The Highlander started exhibiting issues with the transmission within the past 7 days. This issue appears consistent with the known transmission defect referenced in Toyota Technical Service Bulletin T‑SB‑0008‑21, which addresses whining and grinding noises caused by internal transmission component failure in 2021 model‑year vehicles equipped with UA80-series transmissions. Multiple independent reports indicate that this condition can worsen and may lead to loss of power or drivability while the vehicle is in motion. For safety reasons, I am submitting this complaint so the issue can be evaluated as part of any ongoing or future defect investigations. I am concerned about the potential risk of transmission failure while driving, which could increase the chance of a crash.Read more

Attached are: -The dealership’s diagnostic report -All text communications with the service advisor -Also have Video documentation of misaligned steering wheel I was unable to attach. Prior to dealership service, my vehicle was evaluated for approximately one week at a reputable independent repair facility for a cracked head gasket. At no time were there airbag warnings, steering issues, or safety system concerns. The vehicle was driven directly from the independent shop to the dealership where they preformed a warranty service. Upon pickup, I immediately observed: - Misaligned steering wheel - Illuminated airbag warning light - Coolant system air bubble (later corrected per dealership) The steering misalignment indicates the steering system was disturbed during repair. The airbag warning light appeared immediately afterward. The dealership’s report references “history” fault codes, but provides no proof the warning light was active prior to service. History codes can result from battery disconnection or electrical interruption during major repairs and do not establish a pre-existing defect. Given that: - The airbag system functioned properly before service - The steering wheel was returned misaligned - The airbag light appeared immediately after repair - There is no documentation proving a prior active fault I am concerned a critical safety system has been compromised. An active airbag warning indicates the system may not function in a collision. I am requesting that KIA fix this at no charge to me due to the reasons listed above.Read more

I have had to put my vehicle in the shop for transmission repair. The first time it was in the shop for over a month to only get it back and have the same issue. Now the shop is telling me that GM is having a system glitch and they are unable to program it.
