The sunroof on my 2021 Kia Telluride broke and is stuck open. We had to take it to Kia to have the repair quoted and they want to charge $6k to have it replaced. This is a huge safety issue, as it is winter and we have rain/snow getting in the car, as well as the potential for someone to break into my car through the sunroof as well. I have read numerous reports online of other 2021 Kia Tellurides

My 2018 Ram 2500 was involved in a collision with another vehicle. The vehicle in front of me had to slam on their brakes for an object in the roadway. When I slammed on my brakes, the ABS and Traction Control lights lit up on the dash, my tires locked up, and I skid approx 100' and rear ended the vehicle in front of me. There was no shoulder to pull off to and oncoming vehicles in the other lane.
... There was no way out of the collision. If the ABS system had worked properly, my vehicle and the vehicle in front if me would not have collided. The faulty component is the Hydraulic Power Unit for the Antilock Braking System. The last time I brought the truck in for service at Southland Dodge in Houma, LA, USA, they offered to fix the recall. I gladly accepted. When I picked the vehicle up the system was still malfunctioning.Read more

My 2021 Honda CR-V Touring model, with around 59000 miles on the odometer, has developed a problem in which the steering wheel gets "stuck" and resists being turned. Then, when more force is applied to turn the wheel, the steering mechanism suddenly "lets go", and this is accompanied by a clunking sound from the front of the vehicle. I first noticed this a few weeks ago, and at first the resist
... ance and noise was barely noticeable. However, since then, the degree of resistance and volume of the clunking sound have been steadily INCREASING. This has prompted me to get the problem diagnosed and repaired ASAP before it becomes more than just a distraction (I have an appointment with a dealier). Meanwhile, I've done some web research about the issue, and found a Honda news release dated October 9, 2024 that announces a recall for a steering problem with symptoms that EXACTLY MATCH the problem my CR-V is exhibiting. The same goes for the NHTSA "Part 573 Safety Recall Report 24V-744", which describes PRECISELY the same symptoms. Unfortunately, the safety recall only covers 2023 through 2025 Honda CR-V's, so repairs to my 2021 CR-V is not covered. However, it seems very likely that my vehicle DOES have the same issue. Accordingl, I am reporting this to the NHTSA to (1) provide a data point that may help in establishing the prevalence of this issue, and (2) encourage further research by NHSTA as to whether an expansion of the recall is warranted. I am also concerned about owners of vehicles that are not covered by the recall having to bear the repair costs. I will get it repaired one way or the other, but I'm certain that many others would be discouraged by the cost and choose not to have it repaired. Thank you for your attention to and actions taken regarding this matter.Read more

I purchased this vehicle CPO and shortly after purchase the vehicle experienced a major mechanical failure involving the clutch/transmission. The vehicle had a prior safety recall (Recall #24S36) listed as “completed” before I purchased it. However, the issue has now reoccurred despite that recall being marked as repaired. The dealership is now claiming the failure is due to “wear and tear
... ,” but the failure occurred after only approximately 1,000 miles of driving since purchase, which raises concern that the defect existed prior to sale or that the recall repair was not properly completed. The vehicle is currently unsafe to drive due to the risk of sudden loss of power and drivability issues. I do not feel safe operating the vehicle. I am requesting that this issue be investigated as a potential recall-related defect or improper recall repair, as it poses a safety risk.Read more

We spent over $7,000. in trying to solve the front end shaking issue. We are lucky we did not die in an accident caused by the front end shaking and no steering control. We want re-imbursement and full repair as the problem is still happening. our family and all of us have Been a Ford customer for over 60 plus years. On April 20, 2026, at approximately 12:00 pm. I was driving my 2018 Honda Odyssey (VIN [XXX] ) southbound on [XXX] , approximately 3 miles north of the junction of [XXX] and [XXX] . I was traveling at approximately 30 mph. The vehicle struck a pothole in the road. Immediately upon impact, the passenger-side curtain airbag deployed with a loud report that I described as sounding like a gunshot ne
... xt to my right ear. There was no collision with another vehicle or object, and no warning of any kind preceded the deployment. I was startled by the sudden deployment and noise, and the vehicle briefly swerved before I regained control. The deployed passenger-side curtain airbag completely obstructed my visibility through the passenger-side and right-rear windows. The road at that location runs along a narrow embankment with no shoulder, so I was unable to safely pull over. I had to continue driving approximately 3 to 4 miles with severely compromised visibility until I reached a safe location to park near the 9W and 340 junction. I was the sole occupant at the time of the incident. The curtain airbag deployed directly adjacent to my child’s car seat, which was installed in the rear passenger-side seat. My child was not in the vehicle at the time. Given the force and location of the deployment, a child seated in that position could have been seriously injured. Following the deployment, I experienced ringing in my right ear and ear pain that persisted for several hours. I was also significantly shaken by the incident. Component that failed: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which caused inadvertent deployment of the passenger-side curtain airbag. The vehicle and deployed airbag are available for inspection. Safety risk: The inadvertent deployment created multiple safety hazards. First, the deployment itself startled me and caused the vehicle to swerve at 30 mph on INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

2024 Toyota Tundra 4X4 SR5 CrewMax 6.5, VIN: [XXX] , 28,500 miles. Three distinct, worsening vibration issues affecting separate systems: 1 — Powertrain/Driveline: Significant vibration on initial acceleration, under tow load, and on inclines. Suspected driveshaft carrier bearing, U-joint, or engine main bearing failure. Recall 25V-767 (V35A engine bearing debris, 2022–2024 Tundra) — VIN rec
... all status to be confirmed at [XXX] . Component available for inspection. 2 — Highway vibration 40–70 mph: Constant speed-dependent vibration in steering wheel, seat, and floor. Worsening and expanding in speed range over time. Impairs steering feedback — direct safety hazard at highway speed. Suspected wheel bearing or hub failure. No warning lamps present at any time. 3 — Braking: Violent vibration during heavy deceleration, downhill braking, and rapid stops. Severely impairs controlled stopping and risks loss of vehicle control. Consistent with rotor degradation per Toyota TSB (Nov. 2025, 2022–2026 Tundra). Repair history: OEM tires replaced at 20,000 miles — abnormal camber-induced outside shoulder wear. Toyota issued a Limited Service Campaign for this identical defect on 2022–2023 models but explicitly excluded 2024. All 4 tires replaced twice. Multiple alignments, balancings, and rotations performed at L&S Toyota, Beckley, WV (3+ dealer visits) and an independent tire chain (3+ visits). No resolution. Defect is mechanical, not tire-related. No DTCs or warning lights at any visit. Safety risk: Braking vibration risks loss of control on downgrades and emergency stops. Highway vibration impairs steering feedback over extended driving. Towing vibration creates trailer instability on public roads. While operating the vehicle under normal driving conditions, the engine experienced a significant loss of power and reduced acceleration. The issue is believed to be related to turbocharger failure within the engine system. The loss of power created a safety concern, particularly when attempting to merge into traffic and maintain highway speeds. The vehicle did not respond as expected when accele

The problem has been confirmed by a dealership service department, and the vehicle is currently available for inspection. The diagnosis indicates that the turbochargers require replacement. Prior to the failure, there were limited warning signs. Any warning indicators were either minimal or appeared shortly before the issue became noticeable. Car power shut off while driving on the highway to church and almost got in an accident. Pulled to the side and smelled smoke. Lifted the back seat and opened the fuse box and looked. Lifted the fuel pump fuse and it was burnt. Me and my family got stuck on the side of the highway instead of church and spending time on a holiday.

Randomly, and without warning, the instruments, gauges, and displays will switch into a language I do not speak or understand (Italian). Coinciding with the switch to Italian language, cluster and radio display settings revert back to default settings, auto door locks and paddle shifter becomes inoperative (with no menu to enable), pedestrian emergency brake (peb) lamp or forward collision warning
... (fcw) lamp turns on with no way to disable, units of measurement including speed, temperature, etc. all change, and many other random settings change as well. ***This is clearly a dangerous situation because of all the functions and gauges that change, and the fact it is difficult if not impossible to recover from this due to the language of the setting menus, and the complexity of discovering and navigating through all these changes. I have taken it to the dealer twice, and they say there is nothing they can do and to wait for a possible software update, but none has come and it has been over a year. When this happens, even if one is able to wade through all the settings menus and change setting back, some items cannot be reset (like the FCA off lamp). According to various Jeep owner forums, some dealers have been able to reset something and temporarily correct the issue, but they charge for this service, and the issue returns randomly again. Here is an example forum discussion, indicating many if not all vehicles are affected: [XXX] Many people on the forum believe this issue did not start until a software update a year or so ago. This is a well known and widespread problem, and there is even a DOT Bulletin on the issue: dot.report Bulletins Because this is dangerous (for settings/gauges/units to no longer be useful while driving), and it occurs randomly, I strongly believe this issue should be a manufacturer recall. I am available for any needs. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

1st Incident: Merging on to the freeway car started to stall but was able to safely make it off the freeway at next exit. Less than 2 miles was unable to accelerate to properly merge on freeway. A slow merge & slow driving on to a freeway is extremely dangerous. 2nd Incident: 6 months later, Nov. 2023. Driving about 65-70 MPH on the freeway with my son, the car started to stall again. I was able t
... o safely move from the 2nd lane, to the shoulder. Waited over 2 hours in the dark for AAA to safely move us. 1st time documented issues with Hyundai dealership. Fuel injector was main issue and was replaced. No check eng light. 3rd Incident: May 2024 was driving about 75MPH in the fast lane when the car stalled. I was unable to move fully out of the lane as the car just died. I was half in the shoulder and the fast lane. I was crying with fear while I had to wait for CHP to move me. Multiple times feared other cars would hit me at 80MPH+ while I waited 30mins+ for CHP to stop traffic and move me to the shoulder. Took the car to the dealership for the second time to be "fixed" for the same issue as Nov. 2023. Fuel injector, and catalytic converter were "replaced". This now being the second time for the fuel injector issue. No check eng light. 4th Incident: April 2026 driving on a school night home from dinner with my son at about 9:45pm. It was raining and was traveling at about 55MPH on the highway. Car started to stall/ shut down again. Was able to go about15MPH to a safe spot and waited for assistance late at night. This happened on a highway where people tend to drive recklessly and try to pass other vehicles which causes a lot of head on collisions, [XXX] . Vehicle was towed to Hyundai dealership for the 3rd time & 3rd time documented for the fuel injector and 2nd for the catalytic converter. The navigation system and the one-pedal driving system started malfunctioning. Then, while on the highway, when I needed to slow down, the one-pedal driving system deactivated, causing me to almost collide
