I believe there is an issue with the DC to DC converter. Had an incident when the vehicle was idling for at 30 mins while cleaning snow in driveway after a storm. I received an warning battery low. As thought this was odd I turned it off. waited a few hours returned and the warning was gone. I had JLR dealer look at the issue. I was told the main battery was faulty and replaced, this was in end
... of DEC 2025. Then weeks later [around Jan 18th 2026] when it was really cold out and driving to JFK airport. while in route i received an very generic electrical system fault warning. As i was leaving 1 of the terminals at JFK. on the exit ramp of the terminal I had complete electrical failure was lucky enough to be able to be able to pull to shoulder, but was coasting about 1-2 mph, and stop. It took 3 attempts to restart the vehicle, when it started normally and all electrical was acting normal. if this happened while on the highway it would have caused an accident and i believe injuries. i will say the hazard warning lights were still working. I have also been noticing that the digital dashboard display brightness will fade in and out anytime of the day and weather randomly. Today this happened and received a low coolant warning and a tire low warning at the same time. I check the coolant level and it is normal. I check the tire pressures and they are normal.Read more

The radio head unit randomly reboots. This occurs usually when the car is initially started, and you are unable to utilize the backup camera or the camera freezes. The panoramic sunroof of a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited spontaneously shattered while in transit on the highway. A resoundingly explosive “bang” preceded large shards of falling glass — leaving a massive hole in the sunroof’s front panel. The incident seemingly occurred without direct contact of any kind…no flying debris, no overpass roads, no inclement weather.

Additional repair notes indicate that this was to "address a service bulletin related to the front passenger seat's occupant classification system. We identified the need for an update to ensure proper functionality. To resolve this, we retrofitted the system in the front passenger seat as per the bulletin requirements." The fact that there is an open service bulletin for this issue indicates that it is not isolated to just this vehicle. Vehicle was brought to an authorized Ford dealership for coolant leak. The dealer confirmed a coolant leak originating from the internal water pump. The water pump on this engine is chain-driven and located inside the engine behind the timing cover, requiring approximately 12 hours of labor to access and replace. This is a known design defect affecting millions of Ford vehicles with the 3.5L Cyclo
... ne/Duratec engine across multiple model years (2007-2020). The defect allows coolant to leak past the bearing seal, with potential to mix with engine oil and cause catastrophic engine failure. This is a serious safety risk as failure can occur without warning while driving. The problem was confirmed and documented by the Ford dealership. No warning lights appeared prior to the leak being discovered. Repair cost exceeded $4,300. This defect was the subject of a federal class action lawsuit (Roe v. Ford Motor Company, Eastern District of Michigan) which was settled confidentially in January 2024 without a recall being issued. Ford has not notified owners of this known defect or offered any remedy program to US customers, despite a Canadian class action resulting in relief for affected owners there. I am providing the cost invoice but will provide an itemized invoice once repairs are finished.Read more

My vehicle is experiencing EV system failures, stalling, and system shutdown warnings that make the vehicle unsafe to operate. Glendale Dodge (CA) is actively using Federal Fire Risk Recall 68C to fraudulently conceal a separate, critical High-Voltage hardware failure on my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe. Upon intake, my vehicle’s internal VIP diagnostic scan showed an active P0E15 code (Electric Coolant Heater Failure). Per Stellantis Technical Service Bulletins, this code indicates a severe failure requiring a physical hardwa
... re replacement to ensure the high-voltage system operates safely. To avoid performing this costly warranty repair, the dealership deliberately falsified the diagnosis on Final Invoice #31349. Under Line C (Customer States Check Engine Light is On), the dealership officially recorded the cause and correction as: 'DUE TO RECALL MODULE UPDATES AND BAD BATTERY.' This is an affirmatively false written diagnosis. A dead 12V battery and a recall software update do not cause, nor do they resolve, a P0E15 High-Voltage Electric Coolant Heater failure. The dealership lied on the legal invoice to scrub the hardware defect from the record. They then applied the 68C software patch as a smokescreen, falsified the 'Date Out' to 12/26/2025 to prematurely close the federal recall ticket, and attempted to return a vehicle that remains mechanically compromised and unsafe. This is intentional warranty fraud masking a high-voltage system failure. Stellantis and its authorized repair facility are refusing to properly remedy the vehicle. The vehicle is currently held at the dealership pending an active fraud investigation by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (Case #6596-WS4PV6).Read more

I would like to submit a formal complaint regarding the inadequate rental reimbursement being provided while a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica is undergoing recall repairs (Recall No. 226 – Ejection Mitigation). I took my vehicle to the dealership for recall repairs on March 12, 2026. The dealership does not provide loaner or rental vehicles. Chrysler Customer Care representatives advised that rental rei
... mbursement would be limited to $60 per day. However, the actual cost of obtaining transportation exceeds this amount. Even a significantly smaller compact vehicle currently costs approximately $69 per day to rent. A comparable vehicle to the Chrysler Pacifica, such as a minivan or similar family-sized vehicle, is substantially more expensive than the reimbursement amount being offered. As a result, a compact vehicle that is significantly smaller and not comparable to the Chrysler Pacifica had to be rented. This vehicle does not meet the same functional needs, comfort level, or standard of transportation normally relied upon. Additionally, the difference between the rental cost and the reimbursement limit must be paid out-of-pocket. This situation creates an unfair financial burden resulting solely from a manufacturer recall that is outside of the consumer’s control. Customer Care has been contacted multiple times regarding this matter; however, no resolution or adjustment to the reimbursement limit has been offered. The current policy places additional financial strain on the consumer during the recall repair process. Assistance in reviewing this matter and encouraging a fair resolution would be greatly appreciated.Read more

... my lease from trips to the dealership, appointments, and test drives. The electric engine issues have been particularly concerning, as the failure has rendered the vehicle inoperable on some occasions, posing a significant safety risk. There have been instances where the vehicle has completely stopped, created a dragging effect, and failed to start in winter, while experiencing malfunctions in all electric components. My fuel consumption has significantly increased over the past three months due to these repairs, and I am no longer able to effectively use the electric engine feature. The service department has been unable to diagnose the electric engine failure after multiple attempts, and as a result, the battery is being overcharged without engaging the electric motor. There have been numerous unresolved issues and repairs that have not been successfully completed. I acquired this hybrid vehicle after considering the advertising regarding its favorable fuel efficiency and the electric rechargeable engine feature. However, this feature has not been utilized this winter due to repeated malfunctions, recalls, or a combination of both. Since late November 2025, this electric engine has consistently ceased to function.
