Vehicle continuously has a problem with the alignment and tow link issues suspension problems that cause the vehicle to go out of alignment often. This is a continuing problem that has me going in for repairs more often than I should have to over the last 2 years. Many repairs for the same problem.

The above vehicle was rented to my wife from Avis location at Bradley Airport in Connecticut from January 4th,we had it until January 12th before learning about the recall. Avis swapped the vehicle for use when learend about it, but have not refunded us for the days of diving with a recalled vehicle.

A vehicle safety recall was issued however, there is no solution readily available. After I was finally able to schedule an appointment to have the recall addressed I was told the HV battery needed to be replaced but there was no timeline to complete the repair. This delay is primarily due to a lack of parts and a larger than expected number of issues with this vehicle type.

The seat belt does not retract. There is a crack where the seat belts enter the post and compresses the seat belt. I took it to the dealer and they would love to fix it but there are no parts available so they can not do anything. The interior screen has become pixelated with different colors. This effects my back up camera which is a big safety hazard. All of the climate control, radio and general info are also on this screen. I have not had it diagnosed at the dealership because they charge 160.00 to just hook up to diagnostics.

I suspect there is a design flaw with the gas tank. Everytime I put gas in the vehicle, and I go to multiple gas stations, the automatic shut off on the gas pump will stop pumping gas when the tank is full but the aperture to my gas tank regurgitates a great deal of gas onto the ground. Had the PTU recall serviced in 2023. This week the bolts from my ptu case to the transmission sheared off. The dealership wants $2200.00 to fix it saying the recall has nothing to with the bolts shearing off. They had to remove and replace the ptu case to do the recall. They either over torqued or cross threaded the bolts. Having to get a lawyer.

I took my Jeep to the dealership to have the 68C recall fix done. Upon “passing” I was told I could continue charging as normal. I began charging as I did prior to the recall and recall fix and it fried my GFCI outlet and thankfully so or it my house would have caught fire.
