On Tuesday April 14,2026 at 12 pm I was driving on a highway at 55 miles per hour. The vehicle completely shut off and decreased in speed to which I was able to steer off to the shoulder but had to maneuver for awhile to a space more ample since some areas were narrow. As I made attempts to start car 2x it would not but rather make sounds as if attempting to start to no avail. At that time a pedestri
... an passed by on bike riding along the shoulder.Luckily, the incident did not happen at same time biker was in proximate vicinity. As I got off to check car,I was cautious enough to check for cars, a semi truck was swerving and luckily straightened out in time.I checked under the hood to see for any obvious signs.I got back in car and attempted to start to which it did.Noticied engine light was on which is new and stayed on until safely got home. Before,a week or so,car did turn off at a traffic light to which it had no problem starting as I cranked it.Read more

We have only owned this Jeep, which was purchased new, for less then 20 months when this happened. If this had happened while driving, we could have had an accident and been severely injured. The Jeep is available at this time to be inspected. No lights were on prior to this happening.Read more

I was driving on the highway on my way to work around 7:45 am. As I was driving my car lost all power and I heard a grinding sound. As the grinding sound was happening, I had no control over my car. I managed to move to the side lane and put my hazards on. I then had to wait for a tow truck. Ultimately, the brakes, the transfer case, and the rear differental needs replaced.

Incident date: Apr 14, 2026
Vehicle: 2024 Jeep Wagoneer (Base Model) The vehicle has experienced ongoing and progressively worsening engine performance failures, specifically involving unstable RPM behavior and loss of power during idle and re-acceleration from idle. These defects have been present on multiple occasions and occur under normal operating conditions. While stopped at traffic signals or intersections, the vehic
... le frequently exhibits sudden and erratic RPM fluctuations, followed by a sharp drop in engine speed resulting in complete engine shutdown. These shutdown events have occurred both while the vehicle is in Park and while actively positioned in traffic, creating a hazardous condition. In several instances, the engine stalled unexpectedly while the vehicle was stopped at a red light, requiring an immediate restart in an active traffic environment. In addition, when transitioning from an idle state to acceleration, the vehicle has demonstrated abrupt surging and jerking behavior, causing sudden forward movement. This creates a significant risk of unintended acceleration and near-collision events, particularly in congested traffic conditions or when stopped closely behind another vehicle. The vehicle was presented to an authorized Jeep dealership for inspection. The dealership advised that no diagnostic fault codes were present and no defect could be identified. However, during the dealer’s evaluation, the vehicle did stall while being allowed to roll into the service bay in an idle state, directly corroborating the reported condition. Despite this occurrence, no corrective repair was made, and the vehicle was returned without resolution. The frequency and severity of these symptoms have increased over time, resulting in a vehicle that is unreliable and unsafe to operate. The continued occurrence of engine shutdowns and erratic acceleration behavior presents a clear and ongoing safety risk to the driver, passengers, and surrounding motorists.Read more

I have $80,000 in my jeep parked in my garage because the ABS module failed. Error code C2200. I have taken it to three Mechanics; Kap Motor Sports in Palmetto Fl, AFNY, and 4 Wheel Parts in Bradenton Fl. All have run tests coming back with the same error. We have done two Abs bleeds to try and fix the problem. This part should have been recalled years ago. It has been on back order for years and

Jeep hasn't recalled it and isn't making it available for their customers who have spent so much money on their jeeps. At this point a lawsuit needs to be filed and have started that process. This is my daily driver and if my Jeep kills or injures someone due to this ABS failure Jeep will be held responsible.Read more

What happened? We own a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S (EV). Since delivery, the software has been unpredictable and dangerous. On day one (18 miles), delivery was delayed for a frunk latch failure requiring a total factory computer reset. The most terrifying event was when the brake and gas pedals "swapped" actions while my husband was driving our three sons. The car sped up when braking and stopped when
... hitting the gas. The vehicle has also "bricked" (lost all propulsion) twice in traffic with zero warning, nearly causing collisions. Charging fails frequently; it once sat for 12 hours with zero charge gained despite "green" indicators. We deal with constant "ghost" issues: the car jolts unexpectedly, the "Creep" setting glitches (causing it to roll into traffic or roll backward on hills), and the parking brake slams on by itself while reversing. Recently, the backup camera went black while backing out, and sensors beeped at phantom objects. The power trunk even closed on its own, nearly hitting my head. Other failures include McIntosh audio failure, door lock malfunctions, and Uconnect/Wi-Fi errors. Safety Risk: Our family is at constant risk. Between pedals malfunctioning, dying in traffic, and unpredictable movement, this EV is a major hazard to us and other drivers. Dealer/Technical Info: Prestige Jeep has seen the car 8+ times, once for 45 consecutive days. Dealers often "cannot duplicate" because glitches clear on restart, but they return. These symptoms align with STAR Case S2508000058 (unintended torque) and TSB 08-077-25 (IDCM/electrical shutdowns). Components are available for inspection. Warnings: Symptoms began at 18 miles. We frequently see a "Red Wrench," "Red Turtle" (Limited Speed), and "Service Park Brake" messages. Frequent software failures make this vehicle unsafe for the road.Read more
