After Ford performed a PCM (Powertrain Control Module) reprogramming recall on 16 July 2025, the vehicle began experiencing repeated engine misfires, loss of power, and engine warning lights. The condition progressively worsened, leading to a leaking fuel injector, an EGR valve that stuck open, and eventual internal engine damage requiring full engine replacement. These failures involve PCM-contro
... lled systems (ignition timing, fuel injection, and exhaust gas recirculation) and occurred shortly after the recall calibration. The issue has been confirmed and documented by an authorized Ford dealer. The truck has become unsafe to drive due to stalling and shuddering at highway speeds, which could pose a risk of loss of vehicle control. Warning lamps and a wrench icon appeared intermittently before the engine shuttering and loss of power. The vehicle and all repair documentation are available for inspection upon request.Read more

Incident # 1. June 2025 Vehicle has approximately 3400 miles on it. I was driving southbound on I 35 freeway in the Lakeville Minnesota area. I was in the center lane of the freeway traveling at about 65 mph. Traffic was light. There was no one in front of me. Suddenly, the car broke hard. I was thrust forward against the seatbelt with my hands, pushing against the steering wheel as the car slo
... wed rapidly and came to an abrupt stop from 65 miles an hour. I had no ability to get the car to go. The gas pedal had no effect as this car came to a rapid stop. I found myself stopped in the center lane of the freeway frantically looking around to see what cars were coming, can I find the four way flashers. A car passed me in the right lane and a car passed me in the left lane. Then I was able to limp over to the shoulder out of the traffic lanes. I shut the car off immediately and tried to compose myself. After a moment or two, I turned the engine back on and the car operated normally. At the dealership they fixed some things but they said they didn’t find anything that was directly related to the unexpected rapid braking. Incident #2. July 2025 Vehicle has approximately 4300 miles I was driving northbound on 35E taking the entrance ramp to eastbound Highway 36. I was driving on the entrance ramp beginning to accelerate to highway speed. there were no vehicles in front of me, not on the ramp, or on the highway. As I neared the end of the ramp the vehicle suddenly broke hard thrusting me forward again. It came to a complete stop. Fortunately, for the second time, there was no one behind me. This was the second time the vehicle engaged the brakes in an emergency stop for no reason. The Dealership said they couldn’t find anything cause of the incident. The vehicle remains at the dealership. I have requested reimbursement of my purchase price from Honda. We have an arbitration hearing schedlued on Oct 27, 2025Read more

Back window exploding while sitting for no reason at all
Incident date: Jun 18, 2025
My Mini Cooper has been showing repeated warnings stating “Start-off assistance inactive. Caution: vehicle may roll back!” for some time. This issue appears to relate to an existing recall involving potential electrical and starter/rollaway defects. The vehicle also has a persistent front parking light malfunction and intermittent electrical issues with the windows, which stop mid-way and roll
... back down automatically when the car shifts gears or moves slightly. In addition, the battery repeatedly dies, even though it was replaced with a brand-new one a few months ago. This suggests an underlying electrical drain or short, which could increase the risk of electrical fire or vehicle failure while driving. These malfunctions create significant safety concerns, as the vehicle may roll backward when stopped on an incline and could pose a fire risk due to the known recall. The car has not been safe to drive. The closest Mini dealership (Flow Mini of Raleigh - about 2 hours away) confirmed that the recall is open but refused to provide or authorize a tow, even after I explained that the vehicle could not be safely driven to their location about 2 hours away. The problem has been ongoing for several years, worsening over time. Warning messages appear intermittently but frequently, especially during start-up or when stopped on slopes. Mini USA has not inspected or repaired the vehicle, and their representatives have stated they will not assist with transport to the dealership despite the known recall risk. I called MINI USA directly, and recorded the whole ordeal. I was forwarded to 5 different departments, and the last person stated that because my car is out of warranty that there’s nothing they can do to help me - that any tow I opt for would have to be out-of-pocket. I was in the middle of explaining to her that my car has these very specific warnings and issues associated with this recall that is solely the fault of Mini, and she hung up on me.Read more

Full Self Driving mode (with Hardware 3) consistently will enter the carpool lane when I am driving solo. In the vehicle navigation settings, I have, "use carpool lanes," unselected. It doesn't seem to use this input in it's decision to enter the carpool lane. Sometimes it is very quick to signal and then enter the carpool lane illegally that I can't respond quick enough to correct. However, i
... t only seems to need 1 correction for it to ignore the carpool lane for the remainder of the trip. This then can/will repeat each new trip (it doesn't always occur for each new trip, sometimes it won't make an attempt to get into the carpool lane). I have sent Tesla dozens of recorded messages that it needs to be fixed. It will enter at an illegal point, crossing the solid line, this can sometimes be a dangerous maneuver as well as being illegal for a solo occupant. Also, I don't want to want to be ticketed. It's quite a stressful situation each time this occurs.Read more

The steering wheel shakes (vibrates) at elevated speeds (+65 mph) intermittently. It doesn't feel safe driving on a highway with a shaking steering wheel. In May of 2025, all the lights on my dash lit up and I began getting notifications about my systems not being available. I took my car to my local Honda dealership and was told that there was an issue with the clips on my turbocharger and they would have to be replaced. I took my car to Honda on 06/09/2025, and they had it for roughly 90 days. In September, I was told that I had a cracked head gasket and my turbocharger was bad. I was quoted $7640.35 to fix this issue. I then began to do research and noticed there was a Facebook group called 2018-2022 Honda Accord - blown head gasket, where many people were having the same issue with their car. Ultimately, it cost $7100 to get my vehicle fixed. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that so many people, living completely different lives, are having the same issue with their 2018-2022 Honda vehicle. This needs to be investigated.Read more

I purchased a new 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron. The first malfunction occurred in January 2025 when a dashboard warning appeared stating the vehicle was “unable to read traffic or road signs.” The dealer confirmed a front-camera sensor failure and replaced the camera under Repair Order #193312 (1/17/25 – 1/29/25) at approximately 397 miles. In February 2025, the vehicle displayed repeated “drive s
... ystem malfunction” warnings and would not start reliably. The dealer determined the issue was linked to the 12-volt battery and replaced it under RO #194457 (2/24/25 – 3/14/25, 866 miles). Soon after, persistent drive-system and electrical faults continued (RO #195096 and #195241 from 3/17 – 3/27 at 866–1,081 miles) but no repair was completed. On 4/10/25, an “AWD malfunction” occurred, and the vehicle was towed. Under RO #195846 (4/10/25 – 4/25/25, 1,594 miles), the front electric motor/drive unit was replaced. The vehicle remained out of service for extended periods. I was provided an EV loaner during the initial repair in January and gasoline loaner vehicles thereafter. In June 2025 (RO #198283 at 3,161 miles), a factory recall for the onboard charger was performed. The warning “Pedestrians cannot hear motor sound” appeared both before and after the motor replacement, suggesting a persistent fault in the Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS). These repeated electrical, sensor, and propulsion failures — all within 3,000 miles of use — raise concerns about the reliability and safety of the ADAS camera, drive unit, and pedestrian-alert system. Power loss and a nonfunctional pedestrian-warning feature could increase risk to the driver and others. The manufacturer has been notified, and both dealer and manufacturer-updated repair records — showing mileage inconsistencies between versions — are available for review upon request.Read more

Component/System: Engine — specifically the engine valve springs and related components. Description of what happened: While driving, the vehicle began to shake violently, and the check engine light came on. At times, the vehicle loses power and shuts off completely, then restarts and drives normally for a short period before the issue returns. It feels and sounds like the engine is about to fa
... ll out. These symptoms match the description in Hyundai Safety Recall 255 for the 2024 Palisade (fractured engine valve springs that can cause engine failure, loss of power, and fire risk). Safety risk: The sudden loss of power and engine shaking put my safety and the safety of others at risk, especially while driving in traffic or at higher speeds. The problem could lead to a crash or engine fire if the valve springs fracture or the engine block is damaged. Inspection/confirmation: The problem has not yet been officially confirmed by a dealer, but Hyundai stated that my VIN is not included in the recall, even though my vehicle shows the same symptoms and falls within the recall’s production timeframe. Prior warnings or messages: The check engine light comes on when the vehicle starts shaking, then goes off after the vehicle stops or restarts. The issue has occurred multiple times, most recently in early October 2025. Additional notes: The vehicle is a 2024 Hyundai Palisade, and the issue began about 5 days ago. The symptoms are consistent with fractured valve springs as described in the recall. I am requesting investigation and inclusion of my VIN in this recall.Read more
