I’m having continued problems with my 2022 Honda CRV Hybrid Touring, with every warning light on the car all of a sudden starts flashing and eventually the car looses complete power. I [XXX] and I am the owner of a 2020 Lincoln Corsair (VIN: [XXX] ). The vehicle is under a recall for the backup camera and wiring harness that affects the visibility of the rear-view image. When I contacted my local Lincoln dealership, they informed me that the recall parts are unavailable and that the earliest possible repair appointment is not until March 2026. I purchased the vehicle in Octo
... ber 2025 and am currently financing it for approximately $35,000. I am very concerned about continuing to drive a vehicle with a known safety-related issue for more than a year while waiting for parts that should already be available to consumers. This delay creates both safety and financial hardship for owners, and there does not appear to be an alternative remedy or temporary solution being offered by Lincoln. My camara is already glitching and experiencing some malfunction. So I am requesting that NHTSA review this recall and take steps to ensure that the manufacturer provides an appropriate and timely resolution or interim remedy for affected vehicles. Thank you for your attention to this matter. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)Read more

I purchased this vehicle in December of 2024 at 37 miles on the car. The car shut down three times on me due to electrical issue, but the dealership said it was the battery and the electric, i have invoices for all of the visits. i didnt feel safe driving the vehicle so i let the car sit and rented through Turo. Recently in October, there was a loud squeek sound and vibration coming from my brake,
... it was so loud, and i can feel the vibration. I didnt want to drive my car. Took my car to the Folsom CDJR dealership to get service. Car was returned to me, squeeking noise went away, but now im hearing squeeling sounds from my front and rear brake when my car is on reverse or neutral and im steering my wheels left to right. So I bring th3 car back in for service the following day and told them my concern. The car stayed in the shop for another 3 days just for them to bring my car back to me with the squeeking sound coming back. The advisor told me that it was a normal sound but I told them no it's not, he kept saying it's the rain..etc Its the same squeeking sounds that I brought the car in service for. So the car stays, the car was returned a couple more days, theres still sounds and vibration coming from the brakes. Now they are telling me that the regenerative braking system that use to work when I first bought the car that it doesnt work and Sacramento cdjr is saying that it only charges 1% over where it's at. All false. (They also mention that there were a recall and that they needed to reprogram the car but we never got a letter or notice for it). Folsom CDJR also said they resurfaced the rotors, but when the car was returned to me they were all rusty rotors. Also the fuel meter gauge started jumping up and down, and fuel burning faster then before. Things were were not normal after the services. They are saying that they cant duplicate the issue, but when I took it to an independent shop, they notice the problem and also said that I have an electrical issue still.Read more

I investigated the issue and found out this was a recall for these vehicles for 2010 through 2019 models. This same dealer did not mention this to me at the time of sale, that they had been subject to a recall, and since I did not have them inspect the car immediately after service (I had to miss work and my son drove me after he was off work and I feared they would close before I arrived so I had them park the car outside and the sales desk had the key). The private shop started the truck and attempted to drive it to reproduce the issue. The truck engine seized and I had to pay to have it towed back to the shop. I then had to purchase a brand new crate engine from GM and pay to have it installed. The seized engine would not even roll over, so the cost of labor was increased due to them not being able to unbolt the torque converter on the engine. Took it to Nissan dealerships multiple times and was told it was SAFE TO DRIVE in that condition and it can be in regards to the current safety recall on this vehicle. They REFUSED to provide a loaner or state I may need to stop driving this car. There is currently no remedy available. My car
... finally gave out on 10/26/25 when THICK WHITE SMOKE came out of it as I’m driving causing me to lose power on an expressway that maintains speeds up to 60 MPH or more. I could’ve have been ran into from behind . I had it towed to the dealership they submitted info to the warranty department. And they DENIED it stating it had nothing to do with recall. When it fact it does because the inter cooler and turbo are a part of the engine and the recall states the defect can cause other engine components to fail. NISSAN IS A COMPLETE JOKE. No warning lights came on or anything in regards to this issue even when the engine failed.Read more

I had been having issues with my vehicle randomly stalling out when I would start it and put it into reverse. It also was hesitating during acceleration at times. On 9/2/25 I took it to a Nissan dealership for these issues and was told they couldn’t find anything wrong. I specifically asked if it could be related to the recall I had just received notice about in the mail and was told ‘probably
... not’. The issues persisted off and on the next few weeks and I was about to call them to let them know things were still not working right and some things had gotten worst (like almost stalling out in the middle of the day at a light). On 10/21/25 (6 weeks after the dealership said there was nothing wrong with my car) I started having major problems driving home and the heat would not work. I barely got it home and by then it was running very rough. Husband looked and said there was almost no antifreeze and added some. He said I couldn’t drive it and we had to tow it in the morning. Tow truck driver nearly started it on fire because he couldn’t get it into service mode and it started smoking terribly for the 30 seconds it was on. Nissan Dealership (different one) said there were five 2022 Nissan Roque’s with the same problem ahead of me. After almost a week they called to tell me Nissan is replacing the ‘engine long block and turbo’. I’ve had to rent a car at $400/week and have no idea how long this is going to take. Thankful I wasn’t driving when things got really bad. Also - NO service lights have ever come on indicating anything was wrong at any point.Read more
