The car is now at Monrovia towing in Alabama at $40 a day. I have takwn good care of this Kia it falls under all the criteria there were no lights no warning signs it just shut down. Not only was the dealership evasive about their decision or the decision they made me feel as if I had done something wrong when I've only had the car 3 years taken very good care of it had the oil change by fiance the records and receipts of purchase oil. Devastating. Lengthy and financially crippling. I was lead to believe early on that it was a done deal to replace the engine . They accused of fraud in regards to the records. Untrue. This has caused so much stress and anxiety in my life. I am now without transportation. I have a special needs daughter and this car was a lifeline for us. I did nothing wrong I loved this car . I own a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon with approximately 23,000 miles. I recently received notice of Recall 68C (high-voltage battery fire risk). Jeep’s instructions say not to charge the vehicle and to park it outdoors, away from structures, because of potential fire risk. The manufacturer has stated that no repair will be available until at least March 2026, leaving owners unable to safely us
... e or charge their vehicles for months. This recall follows multiple previous recalls and investigations involving fire risk or electrical system failures on the Wrangler 4xe, including earlier campaigns related to the hybrid battery and software updates. The repeated safety issues raise concerns about the overall safety and reliability of this model. My vehicle is otherwise in excellent condition, but I can no longer use it as intended as a plug-in hybrid or safely park it in my garage. Jeep has not offered a timely fix, loaner vehicle, or buyback. I am reporting this because the ongoing risk of fire, coupled with repeated recalls and long repair delays, represents a serious safety hazard that deserves immediate NHTSA attention.Read more

I purchased a used 2016 Jeep Renegade from a dealership located in Chicago, Illinois, on October 12, 2025. The seller assured me that the vehicle title was available and promised to mail it to me the day after the purchase, since I live in Nebraska and could not return in person to pick it up. It has now been more than three weeks, and the dealership has not delivered the title, now claiming that
... the auction has not yet provided it. The vehicle is currently in my possession, but I am unable to register or legally use it due to the missing title. The dealership only provided a “bill of sale” as proof of purchase. In addition, the seller offered a 30-day warranty for a transmission issue, which began showing problems again before the warranty expired. However, the dealership refuses to issue any refund, stating that it “does not make returns.” I believe this situation poses a risk to consumer safety, as the vehicle was sold without a valid title and with a significant mechanical issue that could affect its operation. I request that the dealership be investigated for possible violations of vehicle sales laws and consumer fraud.Read more

The paint on my 2020 Toyota RAV4 (Blueprint color) is peeling and deteriorating prematurely, on the hood. The vehicle has been properly maintained and has not been in any accidents. The paint started peeling without any external cause. I’ve noticed similar complaints from other 2020 Toyota RAV4 owners, especially those with the Blueprint color, reporting the same issue. This suggests a widespr
... ead paint or clear coat defect from the manufacturer. The peeling paint not only affects appearance but also exposes the metal body to rust and corrosion, which could eventually compromise the vehicle’s safety and structure. Toyota has not issued a recall or offered repairs for this known problem, and many owners are being asked to pay out of pocket for costly repainting. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this issue as a potential manufacturing defect and urge Toyota to take corrective action through a recall or warranty extension for affected vehicles.Read more

I was making a road trip in my 2024 F150 Lightning Lariat. I pulled up to a Tesla supercharger. I turned the car off and attempted to plug in but the cable was about three inches too short. So I got back in the truck, turned it back on and put it in gear for the last three inches of travel. The truck accelerated dramatically. It clipped two charging stations, hopped a curb and went into a field, h

I turned the vehicle off and back on and drove out of the field, the truck behaving normally. I finished the trip and returned home without incident. In reviewing the experience in my mind, I can't make mistaking the accelerator for the brake pedal make sense. You can't turn the vehicle on without pressing the brake pedal. You can't put it in gear without pressing the break pedal. And the fact that it continued to accelerate after hitting the charger doesn't sound like a pedal mistake. I have never found the human factors of the F150 to be challenging - it is very straight forward to drive. I also don't think I could have accidentally hit the cruise control. You can't accidentally engage the cruise control from a standing stop. I do always use one-pedal driving.Read more

1. The vehicle’s emissions system is malfunctioning, specifically the ECM (Engine Control Module) related to the exhaust emissions system. The diagnostic trouble code is P2C7A, indicating the system is not performing as expected. Key components such as the NOx catalytic converters and diesel particulate filter have been repeatedly replaced, but the issue persists. The vehicle and all replaced co

This creates a hazardous environment for both the driver and passengers, exposing them to harmful exhaust fumes. In addition to reduced engine performance, poorer fuel economy, and emissions non-compliance, this exhaust leak poses a serious safety risk by compromising the air quality inside the vehicle. Prolonged operation under these conditions could lead to adverse health effects and further mechanical failures that impact vehicle safety. 3. Yes. The dealership has diagnosed the problem multiple times. The emissions components have been replaced under warranty on two separate occasions. The dealer attributed the fault to fuel quality; however, Fuel distributor debunked these claims. 4. My 12v battery failed and damaged other system components. This is a description of the flaw from a mechanic that had the same problem: There is a major flaw in the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The BPCM (high-voltage battery control unit) has no protection against high-voltage pulses on the 12-volt network. Moreover, the connection diagram of the high-voltage contactors does not contain any elements
... that could extinguish the counter-induction EMF pulses when the contactors are turned off. That is, when turned off, the contactors in the 12-volt network create high-voltage surges that can burn anything, any block that is connected to the 12-volt network. In my case, the power supply module of the high-voltage battery control unit BPCM was burned. The LG chem battery modules themselves were in perfect order during this malfunction. The circuit of this module is quite complex, the board is multilayered and it was difficult for me to repair it. I have a sloped driveway, and the failure led to my car starting to roll uncontrollably forward into my house. I was luckily able to stop it by throwing blocks under the tires while my wife held down the breaks. When I (or my wife) let go of the powerless vehicle's breaks, it would continue to roll as the power failure prevented the vehicle from either entering park or engaging the emergency break. We barely avoided significant property damage.Read more

I have been very cautious on charging my Tesla Model 3 and have followed all of the manufacturer's recommendations. The HV battery recently failed at 105,050 miles. South Korea has noted a battery reliability issue for this year car and model, so I am reporting this to you so if a recall is needed, you can track this. I believe my battery is a Panasonic NCA.

- The core component that failed is the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). The failure was initiated by a fault in the external fuel pump relay (V62 Safety Recall remedy part), which caused improper power delivery. This improper power delivery subsequently damaged the fuel pump motor, requiring replacement of both components. This failure has cascaded, also disabling the circuits for the Eng

No Headlights: The Headlights failed (B1630), causing total loss of visibility at night. No Horn: The Horn failed, eliminating the ability to warn other drivers. - Yes. The initial engine stall and subsequent no-start condition (due to a blown relay fuse) were confirmed by an independent service center (Monro). On Wednesday, November 5th, the rear glass on my 2019 Acura RDX spontaneously shattered without warning. I brought the vehicle to Safelite for repair; however, they were unable to assist due to the technical complexity of removing and replacing the glass. I then contacted an Acura dealership by phone and was advised that I may be required to replace the entire rear hatch, rather than just the glas
... s. I have since learned that Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 22-014 acknowledges an issue affecting rear-glass failure, but it is limited to certain 2019–2020 models and VIN ranges. No recall has been issued, despite numerous reports of this same defect. Additionally, there is an ongoing class-action lawsuit related to this issue (Tyzcko & Zavareei LLP). I am submitting this complaint because Acura is refusing to repair or replace the shattered rear glass despite its being a known design defect. This failure represents a serious safety hazard, as occupants seated in the rear of the vehicle could be severely injured if the glass were to shatter while in motion. I believe Acura must be held responsible and required to issue a recall, as well as provide repair coverage, especially for vehicles now out of warranty. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate this issue due to the clear safety concerns and growing number of similar incidents.Read more
