My vehicle has P0420 and P0430 code errors, indicating a problem with the catalytic converters/emission system. There is a current recall on 2018 VW Atlas vehicles for this issue, but it does not include my vehicle. It appears this recall needs to be extended as the same issue is occurring on other 2018 VW Atlas vehicles.

Transmission failure at 19,481 miles in my 2021Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 V6. The vehicle has not been abused, and the mileage is low for its age. The symptoms—erratic shifting, limp mode, and “Service Transmission” warnings— are consistent with a known defect pattern affecting multiple FCA vehicles using the same transmission.

On 11/01/2025, while traveling on the highway traveling at a speed of 80mph, my vehicle suddenly would not accelerate beyond 60 mph. I managed to exit safely, but this created a dangerous situation for both me, my daughter and other motorists . The next day, Firestone inspected the vehicle and informed me the engine contained zero oil—yet no oil light, check-engine light, temperature warning, o
... r sensor alerts were triggered at any point. There were no visible oil leaks, suggesting internal oil consumption, which I had reported to Kia in October of 2024. On 10/21/2024, I paid $3,300 for a flywheel/ignition repair at a Kia dealership. When I dropped off the vehicle for that repair, I specifically reported abnormal oil consumption and requested it be checked. Kia did not diagnose or remedy the concern. The combination of: -Complete oil loss -No warning indicators -Sudden loss of power and inability to accelerate -Occurring at highway speed constitutes a critical safety defect. Drivers cannot take preventative action if the vehicle provides no indication of catastrophic engine failure until it is already occurring. This defect exposes drivers, passengers, and surrounding motorists to severe risk of collision or injury. Additionally, the dealership later provided a Carfax entry simple stating "car maintenance" on 10/22/2024. No record of what was repaired, indicating inaccurate or incomplete documentation. I am requesting that NHTSA: -Review this incident as a potential engine safety defect. -investigate whether other 2021 Kia Telluride owners are experiencing similar catastrophic oil -loss or lack of warning indicators. -Assess whether current recalls adequately address this failure pattern. -Determine whether an additional recall or investigation is warranted.Read more

Currently on the newest Tesla Full Self Driving software v14.1.4, it is phantom breaking as well as phantom swearing out of nowhere. The serious problem is that the car does not stop like it should, instead it just continues it seems like it just neutrally rolls on its own drive and twice in the last week it would swerve directly into oncoming traffic. It is not supposed to be doing this at all, especially now that the "hands off" approval is enacted. I drive about 450 miles a week and this has happened about twice a week for the last two weeks. Thank god i was paying attention all four times, but I am so worried this is going to kill someone. I have tried to call TESLA but they purposely don't staff their phones and no one answers.Read more

My vehicle is affected by Recall 25V437. I am already experiencing recall-related symptoms, including stuttering, unusual engine noises, and uneven acceleration. The dealership misrepresented the recall status of my vehicle, failed to disclose that Recall 25V437 remained open, and delivered a defective product – a vehicle with a known safety defect that directly impacts usability, value, and consumer safety. On November 18, 2025, I submitted a formal complaint to the Attorney General regarding this matter. This misrepresentation placed me at risk of driving a vehicle with a known safety defect that could result in sudden engine failure or fire. I am requesting NHTSA to investigate the dealer’s misrepresentation and ensure proper enforcement of Recall 25V437. This recall must be remedied at no cost to me. The liftgate on my vehicle stopped functioning in March 2024, one month after the warranty expired. On June 24, 2025, the vehicle underwent a power tailgate unit replacement and water leak repair at Ocean Honda of Brockton. Water had leaked into the tailgate unit and caused it to short out. The total cost for this repair was $1,776.18. I have attached a copy of the paid service repair summary and
... proof of payment. My primary concern, beyond the financial burden, is the inherent safety risk posed by this malfunction. As a parent of three children, we specifically chose the Honda Odyssey for its reputation for safety and reliability as a family vehicle. A power tailgate unit that can fail due to water infiltration presents a serious hazard, as it could cause the tailgate to unexpectedly open while the vehicle is in motion. This could lead to items falling out onto the road, creating a dangerous road hazard for other drivers, or potentially compromising the safety of passengers if the vehicle is involved in an accident. Right before the tailgate stopped working, we noticed a "low battery" warning upon starting the van. This is probably due to the electrical short. I sent a letter to American Honda Motor Company on July 2, 2025, detailing the issue, but have yet to hear a response.Read more

I am submitting this complaint regarding multiple open safety recalls on my Jeep, including two fire-risk recalls that currently have no available repair. Jeep/Stellantis has informed me that they cannot confirm whether my vehicle is safe to drive, and they instructed me to park the vehicle away from buildings, trees, and other vehicles due to the potential fire hazard. I am unable to comply with
... these instructions because I live in an apartment complex where all parking spaces are close to other vehicles and surrounded by trees. At work, I must park inside a parking garage with no alternate options. I have small children, and if the vehicle were to catch fire, they cannot exit the vehicle independently, which significantly increases the danger. I have contacted the dealership, who confirmed they cannot authorize a rental or loaner for this recall. They instructed me to escalate directly to Jeep Corporate. I have attempted to contact the Jeep recall department by phone and received a “closed” message during normal business hours. I have also sent written documentation to Jeep Corporate and my leasing company (Ally Financial) outlining the safety concerns, my inability to safely comply with the parking instructions, and my request for a rental or loaner. Ally has opened a case to document the issue. At this time, Jeep has not provided a fix or a safe transportation alternative, and I have no safe way to operate or park the vehicle. I am filing this complaint to document the safety risk and request assistance in obtaining a safe transportation solution until Jeep provides a remedy for the fire-related recalls.Read more
