FAILURE RELATES TO SAFETY RECALL 51101-C, WORKHORSE CHASIS AND BOSCH BRAKES CALIPERS. OUR VEHICLE IS HAVING THE TYPE OF PROBLEMS INDICATED IN THE RECALL NOTICE, THE BRAKES ARE SEIZING UP AND THE ANTI LOCK BRAKE LIGHT IS ON. MY MAIN CONCERN IS GETTING THE VEHICLE TO A REPAIR SHOP. WORKHORSE IN A PHONE CONVERSATION TOLD ME TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE UNTIL IT WILL NOT MORE ANY MORE AND THEN CALL THEM FOR

AT THAT TIME THE BRAKES FAILED ENTIRELY WHILE ON ROUTE 75 IN MARIETTA, GA. FORTUNATELY WE WERE ABLE TO AVOID A ACCIDENT. THIS IS A 22 THOUSAND POUND VEHICLE AND THE THOUGHT OF TRYING TO DRIVE IT AGAIN WITH DEFECTIVE BRAKES DOES NOT SEEM TO BE REASONABLE. I FEEL THAT IF THE VEHICLE IS SHOWING THE SYMPTOMS WHICH CAUSED THE RECALL THE COMPANY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFE DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE TO THE REPAIR FACILITY. MY OTHER CONCERN RELATES TO THE SCOPE OF THE RECALL, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS LIMITED TO THE CALIPERS WHICH WERE LOCKING UP. THE CONTINUED FLEXING OF THESE COMPONENTS CAUSE THEM TO BREAK AFTER TIME AND THE RESULT CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURIES TO THE OCCUPANTS OF THE TOW VEHICLE AS WELL AS OTHER UNSUSPECTING MOTORIST. JAYCO WOULD NOT MAKE ANY EFFORT TO FIND THE PROBLEM SAYING IT WAS FORDS PROBLEM AND FORD DEALERS IN THE AREA COULD NOT SEEM TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I HAVE TRIED TO TRACE THE PROBLEM BUT TO KNOW AVAIL. IT WOULD SEEM THAT AN INSTRUMENT PANEL MICROPROCESSOR IS SOME HOW INVOLVED.
