THE FORCE OF THE SEPARATION TOOK ME OFF THE ROAD WITHOUT ACCIDENT BUT THE TREAD WHEN LEAVING MY VEHICLE, DESTROYED THE GAS LINE FILLER HOSE, THE ALLUMINUM UNDERCARRIAGE BOX THAT HOLDS THE POWER DISTRIBUTION PANEL, THE FRESH WATER PUMPING SYSTEM AND THE SIDE BODY PANEL INFRONT OF THE TIRE. THE METAL BOX THAT HOLDS THE RV'S EQUIPMENT CAN'T BE REPAIRED, IT MUST BE REPLACED. I SAVED A FRAGMENT OF THE TIRE BUT WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE REST OF THE TREAD. THE ONLY REASON I HAVE A PIECE OF THE TIRE IS BECAUSE IT WAS CUT BY THE PLATE STEEL SUPPORT OF THE FRAME AND WEDGED ITSELF INTO THE CHASIS CORNER. JAYCO EAGLE CLASSIC: ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS, BOTH TRAVELLING AT 60MPH ON INTERSTATE 10 IN ARIZONA, IN JULY, THE TREAD CAME OFF TWO FIRESTONE TIRES CAUSING $400 DAMAGE TO MY MOTORHOME. CONSUMER NOTICED A PROBLEM WHEN PULLING THE JAYCO KIWI TRAILER, TRAILER SWAYING ACROSS THE ROAD. CONTACTED DEALER, DEALER REPLACED THE TIRES, PROBLEM STILL OCCURRED WHEN DRIVING AT 55 MPH. TRAVEL TRAILER WAS SWAYING ACROSS THE ROAD, CAUSING THE TRAILER TO FLIP OVER WHICH CAUSED AN ACCIDENT, TOTALING VEHICLE AND TRAILER. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK

TESTING THE RECALL RECOMMENDATION, ADDING THE ADDITIONAL 180 LBS TO THE FRONT A-FRAME FAILED TO PROVIDE ANY FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS TO TOWABILITY OR DIMINISHED SWAY.
