After a recent purchase of a new 2026 Jayco Greyhawk 29MV RV, I discovered my 2 cats trying to enter a previously unknown and unfinished opening adjacent to a designated sleeping/play area of my RV in the cab overhead. One of the cats was panicked as he was stuck in the opening. The opening is very difficult to see unless you climb well forward into the sleeping area for closer examination which
... I did not do before my purchase. The area contains a very long area of sharp, unfinished and in some places splintered fiberglass edging that actually goes the entire distance around the window opening. Since this easily accessible area is intended for sleeping/playing, a curious child could attempt reaching into the area to retrieve a toy or a pet could enter it and get cut by the unfinished fiberglass or be unable to exit. Portions of the fiberglass are inward flexible which increases chances of an entry and then unable to exit. The area also has accessible loose insulation which further increases the safety hazard. My concern is that a child or pet getting inside and being unable to exit with getting severe cuts from the sharp fiberglass surface. I reported this to the dealer who then informed Jayco who agreed to pay the dealer a whole "0.5 hours" labor for the dealer to "figure out a fix" for the issue. Apparently this issue is in many different makes/models (per the local dealer) and I feel there should be a proper fix applied to all of the fleet rather than a local patch merely to appease just the one customer that found the issue. As a retired military Safety Manager who authored numerous safety messages for issues for Army aviation, I feel this should be investigated for a possible fleetwide safety recall. Based on my conversation with the local dealer, it seems Jayco does not intend to do any further work on the affected vehicles. See attached pictures.Read more

I am writing to file a complaint on the service that was provided at Vann York Honda. On February 17, 2026, I was returning home from work and my car had a hard idle at start up. I was able to drive it home without issue. The next day, February 18, I got in my car and I had another hard idle start with many check engine codes appearing on the dashboard. I drove it to Vann York Honda in High Po
... int, North Carolina for service. I was told it was a faulty fuel injector causing the problem and that it needed to be replaced. I left the car there over night and paid for the service; approximately $3,000. I got the car back on February 19. On February 20, I again had a rough idle on start up. I brought the car back to Vann York Honda and advised them that I was experiencing the same issue as before. The mechanic brought it to the back and advised me that he could not find anything wrong with the vehicle and that it is running fine. I expressed my concerns with the vehicle and he stated that without a error code or check engine light being on, it would be difficult to diagnose. The technician and the advisor said to keep driving it until a light comes on saying there is a problem since they could not find an issue. in the following 2 weeks, I had regular rough idles on start up and the fuel efficiency dropped approximately 6 miles per gallon. When I filled the car with gas, the fuel range dropped from 540 to 370. When I called about that issue, they said they reset the computer when performing the previous service on the vehicle and it is taking time for the computer to "learn" the car again. On March 6, I brought the vehicle back to Vann York Honda due to many check engine codes appearing on the dashboard. On the way to Vann York, the service advisor called me and stated that she would be reaching out to Honda Corporate to see about Honda paying for some of the cost of this service. I have owned my 2025 Jayco Granite Ridge 22T for approximately 9 months. I have encountered a number of warranty issues that are slowly being resolved. I write to you out of concern for a leaking pinion seal (at ~14,000 miles) that may lead to driveshaft and/or differential failure events including rear wheel lockup. This has been reported for the 2024 Jayco Granite Ridge 22T and a safety
... recall has been issued: Jayco Inc 24V-158 / Ford 24V-102 I have not been able to find any safety recalls to the 2025 model year, however I have been unable to determine any substantive differences between my 2025 unit and the 2024 units. Thus I suspect that the same issue for which the recall was issued on the 2024 model, also affects the 2025 model year. Ford tells me that driveline modifications occur after the vehicle leaves the Ford Factory. Jayco tells me that there are no driveline modifications that occur once the unit reaches the Jayco factory. So nobody seems to want to take responsibility for it. But my unit is marketed as a 'adventure capable" 4 season camper, which would be fine, but that means driving on snowy/icy mountain roads and potential exposes me to a rear wheel lockup event that could prove to be fatal in winter time conditions. I urge you to extend the recall noted above to the 2025 Model year.Read more

In or about December/2022, I had made numerous attempts to fix my vehicle's engine. It kept stalling on the roadway and finally Hyundai agreed the motor was the problem and they ended up installing a new motor. I've had 3 incidents in the past 60 days where the car has been parked with shut off the engine, only to come back hours later and find the electric fuel pump in the gas tank running. Around 11:00 am I got onto the car to move it and found the fuel pump was running. This isn't a body control module, an abs system or other electronic device buzzing. The sound is coming from inside the fuel tank. I believe it's the pump running.Read more

If both fail, the entire slide will go out and will result in a catastrophic incident. When the slide mechanism fails, it makes a loud "pop". There is no other warning or indication that it is about to fail. The failure happens at the end of the cycle of either retracting or extending the slide. The slide has been inspected, worked on and repaired by certified RV Technicians and a certified RV repair service center. Both RV Technicians and the service center have confirmed the slide failure. There are many, many other owners who have the same slide failure and eventually give up and have it replaced spending thousands of dollars for an upgraded system. The Lippert Schwintek system is NOT sufficient for a slide of this size, hence the repeated failures, according to the RV Technicians and service center.Read more

... here close, we drove to Clovis Big Rig Repair. The repair shop immediately had us pull in. They jacked up the front of the rig and noted that the driver’s side of the rig’s wheel bearing was loose. When they checked the passenger’s side tire, the tire moved back and forth approximately three inches both ways. Upon further inspection they discovered that both bearings had been installed with very little grease. When the passenger bearing failed, they also discovered it damaged the hub and both the bearing and the hub had to be replaced. Fortunately, this wheel bearing failed on a flat straight road. We often travel the interstate through the mountains. Had this wheel bearing failed coming down a mountain, on a curve, the results could have been catastrophic. The independent repair shop verified the issue. The inspection interval as stated by the Ford Service manual is 60,000 miles. This failure occurred at 28,426 miles. The repair shop probably still has the failed hub and wheel bearings, if you desire to inspect them. There were no warning lamps to signal a failure. I have the receipts for the repairs which state the failure occurred due to "no grease". I will provide these to the NHTSA if requested. I took it to Honda service and complained and they acknowledged that the lights are aid a bit high and that they are weak, but cannot do anything about it. Honda should recall these headl

The car is currently at a KIA dealership being looked at, to which they suggested this because it’s becoming more and more “common”. Additionally it is not a cheap fix, quoted just under $4000 for parts and labor. Absolutely no warning lights or indicators stating the sunroof was “open” or malfunctioning. Even once it was no longer attached to the track/bracket system it was not triggering the light indicating it was open like it does normally and with all other doors/windows.Read more

2018 Honda vehicle Head Gasket failure and Fuel pump failure were detected by New Jersey Park Ridge local service and New Jersey Tenaflay Honda service. All panel lights in my vehicle are on. Problems I experienced included intermittent stalling or loss of power, no gas flow. However, what scared me the most was that while driving at normal speed, the engine lost all its power and stopped taking g

Luckily there weren't too many cars behind us, which allowed us to move to the side of the road. I had my family and children in our car. This could have had much worse consequences. Within the scope of the 2018 Honda recall, no recall request has been received for my vehicle yet. However, as a result of the major problems experienced, I request that this security problem be resolved for my vehicle, which should be in the recall program. My vehicle is currently in service, and I cannot use it in any way.Read more

This has been verified by a dealer in Columbus, GA. It is constantly going off and on. The warning light and the warning bell are a constant distraction to the driver. The truck was bought and within 50K miles it started. No warning.
