FOR CARS WITH RAIN SENSING WIPERS JAGUAR ELIMINATES THE INTERMEDIATE LINK (AND ONE OF THE BALL JOINTS) FORCING THE DRIVER TO ACCEPT THE MIRROR LOCATION AS BUILT. NO LOCATION ADJUSTMENT IS POSSIBLE--ONLY ANGULAR ADJUSTMENT. QUESTION IS "WHY IS THE INTERMEDIATE LINK NECESSARY WITH SOME S TYPE CARS AND ELIMINATED WITH OTHER S TYPE CARS? IT IS ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING THAT THE PUBLIC IS BEING SOLD FALSE PROMISES BY FEATURING NEWER SRS SAFETY FEATURES THAT ARE EITHER NOT ENGINEERED PROPERLY, OR DEFECTIVE. I ONLY WISH THAT YOU COULD HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE FROM NHTSA DOCUMENT THIS CAR IN ITS UNREPAIRED CONDITION AT THE BODY SHOP ON THE SOUTH SHORE OF LONG ISLAND.
