I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding the complete lack of support I have received from Jaguar Land Rover North America following a devastating incident involving my 2018 Jaguar F-PACE (VIN: [XXX]). In January 2024, while driving my vehicle, it suddenly caught fire. This fire was caused by an issue that was the subject of a recall. My vehicle was scheduled t
... o be serviced for this very recall just days later, but it did not make it to the appointment because it was completely destroyed. The fire department responded to the scene, conducted an investigation, and filed an official report, which I am prepared to provide for your review. After the incident, I reached out to Jaguar Land Rover North America, expecting assistance in addressing a fire that was clearly caused by a known defect. Instead, I was met with outright dismissiveness and disrespect. Executive Judianne Di Leo, in particular, showed a complete lack of concern, scolding me for copying other JLR executives on emails, refusing to help, and failing to direct me to anyone who could. During multiple phone conversations, I explained the severity of the situation, including the fact that I have developed asthma, breathing issues, and severe anxiety attacks as a result of the explosion. She dismissed my concerns and even laughed at me during one call before telling me to "get a lawyer." Windows are 48 hrs long, car is unusable for the entire window. Partial updates are expected, and another 48 hrs may be required to complete. Complete updates (correct sounds and all), per owner surveys, have been under 30%. One set of numbers shared with FOA, and then shared with owners, was that only ~10% of the fleet (~300) was updated after 5 weeks of attempts and over 800 VINs submitted for attempt. There are only ~20 US service people available for the entire country, and only ~5 travel nationwide to fix our vehicles when a car is undrivable. am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the ongoing issues that are being seen with the NHTSA recall campaign numbers 24V865000 and 24V623000. Specifically, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in my vehicle, which has become increasingly distracting and, frankly, dangerous due to an incomplete or failed 2.2 Over-The-Air (OTA) update is a huge concern. As a responsible driver, I v
... alue the safety of not only myself but also those around me, and this situation and others we constantly hear about make me question the process of the recall. Every week, a number of vehicles are reported as undrivable post-OTA updates, with statistics indicating that approximately 2%-5% of owners experience this issue. With 48-hour update windows, my vehicle becomes unusable for an extended period, which is highly inconvenient and concerning. Moreover, I've noted that partial updates are expected, potentially extending this downtime by another 48 hours. I have had a partial update that has left my vehicle in worse shape than before, what could happen if the process is tried again? This inconsistent performance is not only frustrating, but also poses a serious inconvenience to scheduling and executing such a process. Owner surveys suggest that comprehensive updates, which should resolve these issues, have been successfully completed in under 30% of vehicles which were attempted. Additionally, the alarming figures shared indicate that only around 10% of the fleet has been updated in over five weeks, despite submitting over 800 Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs). This inefficiency raises serious questions about the reliability of the process. Furthermore, the fact that there are only approximately 20 service personnel available nationwide, with a mere five traveling to assist customers whose cars are rendered undrivable, is simply unacceptable. This lack of support exacerbates an already troubling situation.Read more

The following is copy of an email sent to JEEP CEO in November and then again in January. I have not received a response. I have also sent an email to the dealer. My jeep has this issue and it hits mostly at highway speeds causing the entire jeep to shake violently until the jeep settles down. This is now happening too many times and there is nothing the driver can do, but hold tight on the wheel and hope the shaking doesn't cause an accident. I can not believe this was not addressed via a safety recall! This problem has the potential in my opinion to lead to serious injury or death of passengers in the jeep and others nearby! I will be turning the jeep in at the end of February and I assume the dealer will have to fix the problem (I am told it takes a couple hours to replace the stabilizer bar), before the vehicle is sold as a used jeep. To allow this condition to exist is inexcusable by both Jeep HQ and the local Jeep dealer. Because this has been a known issue and Jeep and your dealers have done nothing to resolve this problem, I will not simply go away. I and other jeep owners are owed something more than "We can't help". I have owned two CJ-7s, one Grand Cherokee, and now my Wrangler Sport. As part of a Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, I am required to have a solid 4-wheel drive vehicle. ... rgy control module failure causing recurrent low-battery alerts. Braking System – Front/rear linings worn to 3mm/2mm, below SAE J866 safety thresholds. The vehicle remains available for NHTSA inspection at your request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Electrical: Exposed wiring poses fire hazards (violating FMVSS 305), while inoperative door controls risk occupant entrapment (FMVSS 208). Brakes: Worn linings impair stopping distances (FMVSS 135), increasing collision risks. Cooling: Repeated coolant loss risks sudden engine overheating and highway breakdowns. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Jaguar-certified technicians at authorized dealerships confirmed the electrical, cooling, and battery failures during repairs in October-November 2024. The brake wear was documented but deemed "within tolerance" despite sub-spec measurements. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? Only Jaguar’s manufacturer-authorized dealers inspected the vehicle. No police, insurance, or third-party assessments occurred. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? Yes, the issues were preceded by multiple warning messages, including "low battery charge" warnings related to the electrical system, a low coolant warning due to the cooling system failure, and an SOS system limited notification. ... ic from a stand still at a stop light stop sign. Limited to about 15 mph regardless of road pulling onto. Then have to pull over shut off and restart put back in drive and go. This is not ideal in most cases and dangerous. Honda released a TSB but will not cover if out of warranty. I filed case with Honda at 70 K. They agreed to pay for parts and labor minus $50 deductible and sales tax on parts. This affect all 2017 to 2023 and some 2024 vehicles with 3.5L engine. This first happened to me with roughly 2k miles on car and is sporadic. Only cold weather and matches their TSB. Happens frequently every winter for me. For last 3 years When I found Honda TSB 24-085 suddenly the dealer knew this was happening. Yet I have been complaining for 3 years of issue. Once I showed them tsb suddenly oh that’s what you mean.Read more

The car started making a strange high pitched creak sound whenever I would turn the steering wheel, or go over bumps in the road. I brought the car to Tesla and they informed me that the following parts needed to be replaced. 1. Front Lower Compliance links (left and right) 2. Front Lower Lateral Link (left and right) I was notified that the failure of those components was a potentially serious
... safety issue, and that the parts needed to be replaced as soon as possible. I had Tesla replace the parts, so the issue cannot be inspected. The problem was verified by the Tesla Service Center, and was not seen by any other professionals. There were no real warnings, other than the annoying squeak sound whenever the sterring wheel was turned. The sound first appeared in November of 2024.Read more
