THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT IT HAPPENED. IT HAPPENED ONCE BEFORE, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE DATE WAS OR THE MILEAGE. HOWEVER, I DO REMEMBER THAT IT HAPPENED IN NOVEMBER, 2013. ON APRIL 21, 2015, I WAS LEAVING A STORE. AS I PULLED OUT OF THE PARKING LOT, I HAD TO STOP TO MAKE SURE THERE WAS NOT ANY TRAFFIC IN THE HIGHWAY BEFORE LEAVING, BUT THERE WAS A TRUCK APPROACHING. I TAPPED THE BRAKE
... S AND THE CAR TOOK OFF IN THE HIGHWAY RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE TRUCK. LUCKILY THE DRIVER OF THE TRUCK SAW ME AND APPLIED HIS BRAKES. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A TRAGEDY. NOW FOR THE FIRST OCCASION, I WAS IN THE INSIDE LANE OF A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND WAS TRYING TO STOP FOR A RED LIGHT. I STARTED TO BRAKE AND THE CAR TOOK OFF. I HAD TO SWITCH OVER IN THE OUTSIDE LANE SO THAT I WOULDN'T REAR END THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. I WAS LUCKY THIS TIME BECAUSE THERE WASN'T ANY TRAFFIC IN THE OUTSIDE LANE. NOW I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE I KNOW IT IS A DEATH TRAP. I DO NOT WANT TO HURT MYSELF OR ANYONE ELSE ON THE HIGHWAY. I NEED SOME HELP NOW! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! HELLO I JUST BOUGHT A CAR RECENTLY AND IT IS A 2010 JAGUAR XF BUILT IN JUNE 2009. AS I DROVE IT OFF THE LOT I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR AND REALIZED RECENTLY THAT IT IS A POWER STEERING PROBLEM. I SEARCHED ONLINE FOR ANY RECALLS AND THERE WAS A RECALL FOR ANY VEHICLES MADE IN JUNE 2009 AND MY CAR WAS MADE IN JUNE 2009. IT DOES NOT SAY IN THE JAGUAR SYSTEM THAT MY SPECIFIC VEHICLE WAS RECALLED. HO
... WEVER I FEEL THAT MY VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN RECALLED AS IT WAS SOMETHING THAT MAY HAVE BEEN MISSED. I FIND IT VERY COINCIDENTAL THAT MY VEHICLE IS HAVING AN EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS THE ONE THAT WAS RECALLED AND THE RECALL DATE IS FOR THE DATE THAT MY VEHICLE WAS BUILT. I HAVEN'T DRIVEN THE VEHICLE SINCE I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND I WILL BE TOWING IT INTO A DEALERSHIP SHOP TOMORROW. AND REGARDLESS OF IF IT IS A MAJOR PROBLEM OR A MINOR PROBLEM, ITS A SAME PROBLEM AS THE ONES THAT WERE RECALLED. IT SAID POSSIBILITIES OF NOT GETTING THIS FIXED IS FIRE UNDER THE HOOD AND I DEFINITELY DON'T WANT THAT NOR FOR ANY OTHER JAGUAR XF 2010 DRIVERS OUT THERE.
