This could lead to dangerous conditions if using in an unfamiliar location (which is the point of having a navigation system). Navigation system has suggested turning wrong direction onto one-way street, turning into rivers and lakes, making U-turn on expressway, and driving through private property.

I was told by technician that if this wire chewed by rodent or broken, passenger air bag will not function at all when there is an impact or an accident. (4). Service technicians inspected the broken electrical wire, repaired it, but there is no guarantee that rodent can not chew it again because repaired wire is at the same place as before. (5). There is no prior warning for me. Service technicians came over to replace the passenger seat. Once they replaced it, the senior technician tried to check all the system using his laptop and it appeared that he noticed a fault on his laptop screen. So, he opened the frunk and found the broken wire. (6). Instead of replacing this part with OEM part he repaired it and even charged me for the cost of repair though my car is under warranty. This is the design fault and this wire can be chewed again and manufacture can keep charging the customers till the life of the car.Read more

After dozens of attempts to start the car, it finally did start, but would not accelerate more than 5-10mph, and a warning message: "Reducing power to lower engine temperature" - but this made no sense as the engine had not been running at all for 12+ hours overnight. When I finally got the car towed to the Ford dealership, they took multiple days to diagnose, even though I had scheduled this appointment more than a week prior. Finally the Director of Service at this Ford Dealership texted me: "VERIFIED CONCERN. SCANNED FOR CODES AND FOUND P021D P0303 P0316 P06E9 P1026 P1285 P1299 P164D. LIVE DATA POWER BALANCE SHOWED DEAD MISFIRE ON CYL 3 AND MULTIPLE MISFIRE ON ALL OTHER CYLINDERS. FOUND COOLANT RESERVOIR EMPTY. REMOVED CYL 3 IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG AND FOUND COOLANT INTRUSION IN CYL 3. WILL NEED TO REMOVE AND REPLACE LONG BLOCK ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH NEW." Gear shift can easily slide from Drive to Neutral (and from Neutral to Reverse) if a book, purse, or other object is on the center console and slides forward and touches the gearshift when vehicle comes to a stop. Korea has recalled this model of FPace because the timing chain is known to break with less than 50K miles. I have also read lots of posts on Jaguar forums about 2.0 Diesel FPaces being known to have timing chain failure which necessitated a complete engine replacement. I am terrified that my timing chain is going to come off and damage my engine every time I get in it.

In September 2023 the Air Bag light displayed a "3-3" LFC with the "B2292" DTC indicating Restraint System Seatbelt Pretensioner Error on the driver's side. The mechanic and I contacted a Ford dealership for a replacement dark gray-colored seat belt retractor assembly and buckle and were advised that Ford had discontinued manufacture of the part in dark gray and other colors! Ford only offered a tan seat belt assembly. It seemed irresponsible that Ford would discontinue production of such a vital safety part for a vehicle that is used as a personal vehicle, as well as a fleet vehicle for law enforcement organizations, and for state and municipal governments. Without a replacement I could not even pass the state safety inspection to sell the vehicle. To continue to operate the vehicle safely I have no choice but to have a tan seat belt and its accompanying tan interior components installed in a vehicle with a dark gray interior. To the best of my ability id like to explain why my car does not operate . i have taken my car to two jaguar dealership and have talked to Rocco' s European car repair shop as well and the all say that what is defective with my car is the central junction box. ... eaking from the windshield wiper pump and on to the underside of the Central junction box and my wires are corroded and cause electrical failure as the say water and electricity are not a safe combination. with this malfunction my car no longer starts . Yes of course my car is available for inspection and it has been confirmed by both Hennessey Jaguar of Atlanta and Jaguar south Atlanta both have provided documentation as to the necessity to change the central junction box and both dealership's are not privately owned and not connected to one another yet they state the same reason as to why my car will not function. Yes my 2013 jaguar is a dangerous vehicle to drive as the car doors spontaneously opened and closed on their own the interior lights turned on and off and some other malfunctions engaged even when not engaged to do so i believe the breaking system also flashed traction control turns on even though i didn't ask it to be turned on. i am afraid that my car with water in the junction box could lead to an electrical fire as told to me by numerous mechanics Yes my car was inspected by both dealerships in Atlanta and both diagnosed the problem and being the "CJB." The symptoms initially started with my doors mysteriously locking and unlocking and then other electrical problems occurred after that. These symptoms first appeared in 2021 and there were messages that flashed on the dash message especially one that said see owners handbook i may not be sure of the wording but that's essentially the message . this is my best assessment of the problems.Read more
