I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE , THE CLUTCH WAS REPLACED AND FAILED WITHIN A WEEK , THEN REPLACED AND FAILED WITHIN A DAY, HYDRAULIC SYSTEM ON THE CLUTCH WENT OUT AND THEN THE TANSMISSION BLEW THIS ALL HAS OCCURRED WITHIN ONE MONTH? *AK

THE VEHICLE'S TAIL PIPE SEPARATED FROM THE MUFFLER'S DISCHARGE FLANGE WHICH IS TURNED 90 DEGREES UP, CAUSING THE HOT EHHAUST GASES TO HIT THE FLOOR DECK ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE, JUST BEHIND THE BACK SEAT. THE RESULT WAS BURNING THE UNDERCOATING OFF, SETTING FIRE TO THE CARPET PADDING AND SETING FIRE TO A DUFFEL BAG CONTAININ CLOTHING THAT WAS PLACED OVER THAT LOCATION. THIS RESULTED IN FLA

IN A SIX MILE DRIVE THE THE DEALER WITH THE PIPE BROKEN ENOUGH, HEAT WAS GENERATED TO STARE THE MATTING SMOKING AGAIN. DURINGTHE WARM SUMMER MONTHS THE CAR WILL IDLE SPORADICALLY AND OFTEN DIE FORCING THE DRIVER TO USE THE EMERGENCE BRAKE TO SLOW DOWN AND STOP SO THAT THE DRIVER CAN KEEP HIS OR HER FOOT ON THE GAS TO KEEP IT FROM QUITING. WHEN THE TENPERATURE OUTSIDE DROPS THE PROBLEM STOPS. *AK

I TOOK THE TROOPER TO HAVE REAR AXLE SEAL REPLACED, AND NEW BRAKE SHOES INSTALLED. SEVERAL MECHANICS PUT TROOPER UP ON LIFT, AND REFUSED TO REPLACE BRAKE SHOES/REAR SEAL. THEY SAID THAT THE FRAME IS SO FAR GONE THAT THEY WILL NOT FIX THE REAR SEAL OR BRAKES BECAUSE TROOPER IS TOTALLY UNSAFE DUE TO THE FRAME ROT. TO PERFORM SERVICE TO BRAKE AREA WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME AND EXPENSE SINCE I HAVE FAR

ANOTHER REPUTABLE MECHANIC ( AT AN ISUZU DEARLERSHIP HERE IN MAINE) SAID THAT THE STEERING BOX IS ROTTING OFF THE FRAME, AND IF DRIVEN, CAN NOT ONLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT, BUT A FATALIY. I CAN'T EVEN DONATE THIS VEHICLE FOR FEAR THAT SOMEONE MAY BE SEROIUSLY INJURED AS A RESULT OF OPERATING IT. THE FAILED COMPONENTS ARE THE PLASTIC BUTTONS MOUNTED ON THE DASH WINDSHIELD AND LIGHT CONTROLS. ALL THE BUTTONS ARE CRACKED AND SOME OF THEM HAVE FALLEN OFF AND CANNOT BE REATTACHED. ONCE A BUTTON FALLS OFF YOU CANNOT USE TURN ON THE WINDSHIELD WIPER. I CAN NOT BUY THE BUTTONS WITHOUT BUYING THE ENTIRE SWITCH ASSEMBLY.

THE ENGINE WAS BURNING A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF OIL, SO I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE LOCAL ISUZU DEALER TO BE INSPECTED. THE CHIEF MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A MATERIAL FAILURE IN THE PISTON RINGS CAUSING THE ENGINE TO BURN THE OIL. I CALLED ISUZU USA DIRECTLY AND ASKED FOR ASSISTANCE. I WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO, EVEN THOUGH ONE OF THEIR MECHANICS DIAGNOSED A "MATERIAL FAI
