AT 36,000 MILES, MY JX35'S TRANSFER CASE CRACKED AND IT WAS REPAIRED BY INFINITI UNDER WARRANTEE. THE INDICATION OF THE PROBLEM WAS A RUBBING IN THE WHEELS, I HEARD A SNAP AND THE CAR BASICALLY DIED. LUCKILY I WAS ON THE STREET ON WHICH WE LIVE. AT 80,750 MILES, THE TRANSFER CASE CRACKED AGAIN. THE SIGNAL THIS TIME WAS A WHIRRING OF THE TRANSMISSION WITH LEAKING OF DIFFERENTIAL FLUID. THEY BASICALLY NEEDED TO REBUILD THE VEHICLES TRANSMISSION. WE JUST PICKED IT UP TODAY AND FINGERS ARE CROSSED THAT THE PROBLEM DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. THE COST TO REPAIR WAS $2999.83. I RECEIVED THE CAR BACK ON 8/11/2016 AND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THE PEDAL WAS STILL LOWER THAN NORMAL BUT OPERATIONAL. AFTER DRIVING FOR ABOUT 50 MILES ON OPEN HIGHWAY THE PROBLEM REOCCURRED AGAIN. ONCE AGAIN I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE IT LIES NOW WITH NO RESOLVE.
