EXCESSIVE CONDENSATION AND INTERNAL FOGGING IN THE PASSENGER SIDE HEAD LAMP CAUSED THE LIGHTS (HIGH BEAMS, HAZARD BEAMS AND REGULAR LIGHTS) TO FAIL AND REMAIN INOPERABLE. DRIVING WITHOUT PROPER PAIRED LIGHTING IS UNSAFE. THE HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY WAS DIAGNOSED AT AN INFINITI DEALER AS REQUIRING FULL REPLACEMENT. EXCESSIVE CONDENSATION CAUSED THE WATER TO DAMAGE THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND IS NOT ASSOCI

AFTER CONTACTING INFINITI CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT, THEY CONCLUDED THAT NO OPEN RECALL EXISTED. THEREFORE, INFINITI WOULD NOT COVER THE COST AND I WAS FORCED TO PAY OVER $2000 TO REPLACE THE WATERLOGGED LAMP AS DRIVING WITHOUT SAID REPLACEMENT DURING THE EVENING, NIGHT OR DURING POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS POSES A DANGER TO ME AND OTHER DRIVERS. THE LAMP ASSEMBLY WAS FAULTY BY DESIGN SINCE THIS ISSUE HAS OCCURRED WITH SIMILAR INFINITI VEHICLES AND HAS BEEN REMEDIED BY A RECALL.
