The door lock actuators fail to work for the doors both inside and outside if the temperature gets below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. To test why this is happening, I connected an OBD 2 device to record time, speed, absolute throttle position, accelerator pedal position and engine RPM. I have reproduced the situation on the track and it appears that the car's software actually increases throttle during manual downshifts. This is very dangerous and can lead to an accident, because the driver expects a decrease in speed, and instead of this, the car accelerates itself. I tried to contact the manufacturer, but they didn't even listen and sent it to the dealer. There may be a defect in the side curtain airbags with this vehicle. I know that there is a lawsuit in Utah due to nissan and infiniti vehicles made between the years 2015-2019 due to driver side curtain airbags spontaneously deploying while driving in a normal and safe manner. This leads me to believe that something is faulty concerning the side curtain airbags in these vehicles. My SUV was purchased new, and has always been serviced at the dealership. I purchased a new 2021 Infiniti Q50 from Infiniti of Cool Springs on September 28, 2020. There was an incident on January 13, 2022 due to a manufacturer defect that caused my car to accelerate on it’s own. I was parked at a car wash to vacuum my vehicle. I had my foot on the brake to move the gear shift into park when my car rapidly accelerated which caused me to crash through a metal fence that
... separated the car wash from the adjacent property. I have an added safety feature on my vehicle to prevent a forward collision with emergency breaking that also didn’t implement. There wasn’t any warnings, indications or symptoms beforehand. I had my Infiniti for 16 months with only 20,766 miles on it at the time of the incident. This malfunction could present a serious public safety issue. I or someone else could have been seriously injured in a different scenario. It was fortunate that I was stopped and no one was in front of the car. Nissan issued a recall on April 3, 2021 for the problem of rapid acceleration. The dealership without my knowledge completed the recall on my vehicle on April 1, 2021 which evidently didn’t fix the problem. Nissan and the dealership have been and are therefore aware of the problem. Infiniti Consumer Affairs nor the dealership want to assume any responsibility for the malfunction. An inspection has not been performed yet. I purchased a new 2021 Infiniti Q50 from Infiniti of Cool Springs on September 28, 2020. There was an incident on January 13, 2022 due to a manufacturer defect that caused my car to accelerate on it’s own. I was parked at a car wash to vacuum my vehicle. I had my foot on the brake to move the gear shift into park when my car rapidly accelerated which caused me to crash through a metal fence that
... separated the car wash from the adjacent property. I have an added safety feature on my vehicle to prevent a forward collision with emergency breaking that also didn’t implement. There wasn’t any warnings, indications or symptoms beforehand. I had my Infiniti for 16 months with only 20,766 miles on it at the time of the incident. This malfunction could present a serious public safety issue. I or someone else could have been seriously injured in a different scenario. It was fortunate that I was stopped and no one was in front of the car. Nissan issued a recall on April 3, 2021 for the problem of rapid acceleration. The dealership without my knowledge completed the recall on my vehicle on April 1, 2021 which evidently didn’t fix the problem. Nissan and the dealership have been and are therefore aware of the problem. Infiniti Consumer Affairs nor the dealership want to assume any responsibility for the malfunction. An inspection has not been performed yet. My vehicle only 67k miles and wheel bearing already bad, replace 2 weeks ago and hmm noise get worsen without warning light, diagnosed from infiniti dealer saying that Transfer case costing $6400 to repair, and not allowing to drive, I can't afford to fix and need vehicle to work. The contact owns a 2013 Infiniti JX35. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the transmission failed to operate as designed. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and was diagnosed with transmission failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 2,000.

Supplemental restraint system side control module has failed. I have got it checked to find out that this part is notorious for failing. It makes it so the airbags will not work in an accident. My airbag light was blinking and I took it in to get repaired only to find that the restraint system is broke and is NOT easy or cheap to fix.
