IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO ME THAT I SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MALFUNCTION OF A CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM/ISSUE, THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS SAME ISSUE IN THE YEARS THAT MY CAR WAS MADE. BUT MY PARTICULAR MODEL WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE SAFETY RECALL. I'VE DONE RESEARCH ON GOOGLE AND THERE ARE OTHER INSTANCES OF THE SAME SAFETY ISSUE FROM MY MODEL AND YEAR. Upon arrival home, my wife and son had their doors open (driver's and passenger's front doors) and were in the process of getting out the vehicle. Shortly after, the vehicle began to roll backwards down the driveway, scraping the passenger front door along my truck. My son had to run backwards to get out from between the two vehicles. ... tempted to press the brakes but the vehicle was off so the brakes did not work. It rolled back into the street and stopped on the curb on the other side. Thankfully no cars were passing by and hit the car as it rolled backward. After realizing that she and my son weren't hurt, she turned the vehicle on and drove it partially into the driveway to get it out of the street. The passenger front door was bent forward and was not able to be closed on it's own. It took some force to get it to the point where we could pull it into the garage. The vehicle was towed to a body shop and repaired under insurance. To my knowledge, the physical damage was repaired but no investigation into why the vehicle suddenly rolled backward was conducted while it was in the shop. We have not had a chance to take it in since we got it back from the body shop. No warning lights or symptoms of any kind had previously presented themselves. My car has the same symptom as described in the above recall case - fuel gauge shows one-third tank of fuel remaining when the fuel tank is empty. Recall was in 2010 so my car model, 2015 Infiniti Q60 Coupe, is not listed in the recall but exhibits the same problem with a dangerous consequence of losing bot

The entire airbag system in the car has been disabled due to this faulty sensor - this should fall under federal safety mandate and Infinity is refusing to assist. Called their consumer affairs department with case elevated to regional manager (case # [XXX]) making a request to at least meet me halfway through cost of parts - Their answer is sorry "NO". such complaints are prevalent across the internet with stories similar to mine and Infinity is not taking responsibility. Vehicle was purchased December 2021 upon purchasing the vehicle I noticed the horn was not functioning, vehicle was taken back to dealership, they corrected the issue, then months later horn isn't functioning at all. Nor is Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assistance, Parking Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Warning functioning on car. The automatic rain sensor isn't working at all.

Brought car in for any state inspection and found the front suspension crossmember to 100% rusted thru. Car failed inspection. Found out that this is a common failure on this model of infiniti. In addition replacement part is on national back order. So on top of a poorly designed part they are unable to keep them in stock.

This car has been drifting to the right since bought causing premature tire wear which has now been 5 sets of tires in 36k miles. The front right tire always seems to blow out. Alignment has always been knocked out in within weeks. Several independent shops point to defective bushings while infiniti doesn't see the issue. This same issue was recalled for the 2016 models. I cant get more than 10k miles out of a set of tires and constant fighting with the car drifting to the right. I have several more documents. The consumer stated the reason for the drifting, the tire tears, and alignment knocking was due to a defective rack and pinion. The consumer stated that the dealerships are refusing to replace the defective part on the vehicle under the warranty that is now expired. Paying for alignments and tire replacements is a waste of money considering the root of the issue has not been fixed yet. Alignment has always been knocked out in within weeks. Several independent shops point to defective bushings while infiniti doesn't see the issue. This same issue was recalled for the 2016 models. ... and lower control arm and now stays aligned but seems to causing premature tire wear and blowing the right front tire. I cant get more than 10k miles out of a set of tires and constant fighting with the car drifting to the right. I have several more documents. The consumer stated the reason for the drifting, the tire tears, and alignment knocking was due to a defective rack and pinion. The consumer stated that the dealerships are refusing to replace the defective part on the vehicle under the warranty that is now expired. Paying for alignments and tire replacements is a waste of money considering the root of the issue has not been fixed yet. The consumer stated that due to the multiple issues, they will not be able to do a private sell of the vehicle. The only option would be to sell it to the dealer.Read more

To whom this may concern.My vehicle middle console is completely out.My Radio no longer powers on.The A/C runs continuously however I’m unable to control any functions including my defrosts.therefore as the weather is getting colder I’m not able to activate the defrost so my front window fogs up clearing my view I’m able to utilize my wipers wisely.Last for not least my ABS Air bag light co

Twice while driving approximately 70 mph on the freeway, the engine shut off without warning and the service engine soon warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle coasted. There was no shoulder to pull over to. I put it in neutral and it restarted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the camshaft and crank sensor failed.
