This could have been a terrible accident. I had car towed to Serra Hyundai. The services being quoted to me is a new engine with estimated cost $7900. I cannot afford that amount and I’m now without a car. However because I have kept maintenance program up on my car the service department submitted PA101761. Unfortunately, it was declined because warranty has expired. In more research, there has been a recall on 2013-2015 Genesis Coupe for the Powertrain, Engine and Suspension. Therefore, Hyundai is fully aware there is an engine issue. The National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration (NHTSA) has 149 complaints with the same engine powertrain issues. NHTSA ID# 11435981 dated October 8, 2021 had the exact same issues with vehicle and experience(s) as myself. Hyundai has issued a recall. Recall 135, NHTSA Campaign # 15V756000 and Technical Service Bulletin(TSA)#15-01-054. In my opinion, everything described in this recall and every issue I have is outlined in this campaign. I’m being told my car VIN was not included. There have been several complaints over the years for same issue this cannot be coincidental. A recall should be issued for automatic 2013-15 Genesis Coupe to include my Vin#. Most vehicles are at or approaching 10 years and warranty expired. I currently can’t afford new car and on fixed income, or $7900 new engine on 180,000 mile car.Read more

Currently own a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Texas Edition Z-71. Transmission continues to hard shift / lunge in forward and reverse. The suspension is also extremely shaky and any rough terrain makes the vehicle uncontrollable even at low speeds. I have almost had 3 additional accidents because of loss of control in rain and snow. The suspension is also noisy when you first drive with a grinding / rubbing sound. Vehicle has been in for service for these issues on more than one occasion and I have been told they cannot find anything wrong. I have had a transmission code in the past that eventually turned off. Note, this is the price for parts and didn't include labor. At that point, I didn't ask what the labor cost was because I was flabbergasted and taken aback by the the excessively high price for repair. After reading 100's of forums, many are having the same issue with their Infinities and other Nissan Vehicles. Infinity and NHTSA must be aware of this massive problem and Infiniti/Nissan needs to correct this flaw in engineering at the companies expense. We as consumers who pay a lot for these vehicles should be protected. My concern is I have lupus and Arthritis and have chronic pain daily and need my car for numerous doctors visits. Since my health diagnosis I haven't been able to work the past seven years and can't afford to pay over $ 9000.00 to fix a otherwise good running vehicle but also can't afford to get into a car accident because the airbag will not deploy. Engine cylinder head cracks open due to bad design where turbo puts too much weight and vibration resukting in coolant leaking out of engine. Mazda has a bulletin out for this issue and I took it to a Mazda dealer for repair. They confirmed this was the issue.
